1. Precautions
These mounting instructions are intended for the operator, his personnel, and the installer. The
instructions will help correctly install the LED Light COMBI 304 LED and use it safely in
accordance with its intended purpose.The instructions contain important information on the
installation and operation of the light. By following the given steps, hazards are avoided,
replacement costs and downtimes reduced, and reliability and service life are increased.
Read the instructions carefully and attentively! WISKA Hoppmann GmbH is not liable for any
damages or malfunctions resulting from non-observance of these operating instructions.
2. Safety instructions

• Avoid moisture on all electrical components.
• Only use devices according to their IP protection class. Otherwise, the device may be damaged.
• Avoid dropping or jolting. This may damage the unit.

• Ensure the load-bearing capacity of the ceiling and the fastening elements.
Electrical Voltage
• Install the device as described in the operating instructions.
• Make sure that electrical connections and connecting cables comply with all relevant regula-
tions.

• Never repair damaged power cables! They can endanger lives. Disconnect the device from
the mains and have it repaired.
• Ask a professional to install all cables and accessories so they will function reliably.
• Observe safety regulations for electricians: Before starting any installation or maintenance
work, disconnect the power supply, secure it against being switched on again, check that no
voltage is present, earth and short-circuit it, and cover adjacent live parts.
• Do not install equipment outdoors when it is raining. There is a danger of electric shock!

3. Description and intended use
The LED Light COMBI 304 LED is used for illumination in and on gangways or in e.g.
The IP66-rated model consists of a lower connection box and an upper cover with the LED
incorporated. A light switch is required on the connection line.
Either one or two cable glands are included to ensure a safe cable installation. Loop-
through is possible up to 10 A.

4. Installation requirements
A light switch must be installed on site.
The LED Light must not be used for mobile installation.
Ensure the load-bearing capacity of both the ceiling and the fastening elements.
Always use the attached cable gland(s) to make the strain relief sure.

This LED Light has a light source that is not replaceable. When the light source has reached
the end of its life, the upper part of the LED Light must be replaced.
The following points must be checked during maintenance:
Check the housing for cracks and damage.
Remove heavy soiling with a damp cloth.
