Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise
▪ Das Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Personen mit
reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten
oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn
sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes
unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren ver-
standen haben.
▪ Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
▪ Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder durch-
geführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre und beaufsich-
tigt.
▪ Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre sind vom Gerät und der Anschlussleitung
fernzuhalten.
▪ Wenn die Anschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss sie
durch den zentralen Kundendienst des Herstellers oder eine ähnlich
qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden. Durch unsachgemäße Repara-
turen können erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen.
▪ Das Gerät darf nicht über eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder Fernbe-
dienung betrieben werden.
▪ Reinigen Sie alle Teile unmittelbar nach der Benutzung und entfer-

Vor dem Benutzen
Die Gebrauchsanweisung aufmerksam lesen. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch, die
Sicherheit und die Wartung des Gerätes. Sie soll sorgfältig aufbewahrt und gegebenenfalls an Nachbe-
nutzer weitergegeben werden.
Das Gerät darf nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck, gemäß dieser Gebrauchsanweisung, verwendet
werden. Beim Gebrauch die Sicherheitshinweise beachten.

Weitere Sicherheitshinweise
▪ Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschließen. Zuleitung und
Stecker müssen trocken sein.
▪ Die Anschlussleitung darf heiße Geräteteile nicht berühren.
▪ Ein Verlängerungskabel nur in einwandfreiem Zustand einsetzen. Auf ausreichende Länge und
sichere Verlegung achten.
▪ Das Gerät muss zum Betrieb frei auf dem Tisch aufgestellt werden, keinesfalls an der Wand oder in
einer Ecke.
▪ Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine ebene und feste Oberfläche.
▪ Das Gerät darf nicht auf empfindlichen Unterlagen (Glastisch, Tischtuch, lackierte Möbel, etc.) oder
auf weiche Unterlagen gestellt werden.
▪ Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen bzw. sofort Netzstecker ziehen, wenn:
⋅Gerät oder Netzkabel beschädigt ist;
⋅der Verdacht auf einen Defekt nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem besteht.
In diesen Fällen das Gerät zur Reparatur geben.
▪ Achtung: Die berührbaren Oberflächen können bei eingeschaltetem Gerät heiß werden und bleiben
auch nach dem Ausschalten noch heiß!
▪ Vorsicht, Verbrennungsgefahr: Das Gerät nicht im aufgeheizten Zustand transportieren. Die
aufgeheizte Glasplatte ist heiß.
▪ Keine geschlossenen Dosen oder Gläschen erwärmen! Explosionsgefahr!
▪ Schalten Sie das Gerät nach Gebrauch immer aus, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose
und lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie die Glasplatte entnehmen und reinigen.
▪ Das Gerät nie ohne aufgesetzte Glasplatte betreiben, da sonst der glühende Heizkörper freiliegt.
▪ Legen Sie keine Kochutensilien auf die Heizplatte des Gerätes.
▪ Hinweis: Erfrierungsgefahr bei längerem direktem Hautkontakt mit dem Kühlelement.
▪ Das Gerät nicht ohne Aufsicht betreiben.
▪ Der Netzstecker ist zu ziehen:
⋅bei Störungen während des Betriebes,
⋅vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege,
⋅nach dem Gebrauch.
▪ Gerät zum Reinigen nicht in Wasser tauchen.
▪ Bei Zweckentfremdung, falscher Bedienung oder nicht fachgerechter Reparatur wird keine Haftung für
eventuelle Schäden übernommen. Ebenso sind Garantieleistungen in solchen Fällen ausgeschlossen.

Verwendung
Auf der WMF Ambient Kühl- & Warmhalteplatte können Lebensmittel entweder kühl oder warm
gehalten werden. Die Lebensmittel dürfen direkt auf die Glasplatte gelegt werden, da diese zur ein-
fachen Reinigung abnehmbar ist. Zusätzlich kann das WMF Ambient Light als Dekorationslicht für ein
stilvolles Ambiente zugeschalten werden.
Inbetriebnahme
▪ Alle Verpackungsteile vom Gerät entfernen.
▪ Vor dem Erstgebrauch die Glasplatte mit heißem Wasser unter Zugabe eines Spülmittels reinigen
und sorgfältig trocknen.
▪ Gerät auf eine stabile und ebene Unterlage, in der Nähe einer Steckdose, aufstellen.
Hinweis: Platzieren Sie das Gerät am besten gleich an den gewünschten Platz, um das Transportie-
ren der heißen Platte zu vermeiden.
▪ Achten Sie darauf, dass sich in unmittelbarer Nähe keine leitenden Gegenstände befinden und
führen Sie das Kabel geradlinig vom Gerät weg, um einen störungsfreien Betrieb der WMF Easy
Touch Technologie zu gewährleisten.
Warmhaltefunktion
▪ Das Kühlelement muss dem Gerät entnommen werden, um die Warmhaltefunktion aktivieren zu
können.
▪ Setzen Sie die Glasplatte vorsichtig auf das Grundgerät, bis sie hörbar einrastet.

Achtung: Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals ohne eingesetzte Glasplatte.
▪ Verbinden Sie das Gerät mit der Schutzkontaktsteckdose und betätigen Sie die Ein-/ Aus-Taste. Auf
der Glasplatte leuchtet die erste LED-Leuchte von rechts weiß auf und zeigt an, dass sich das Gerät
im Standby-Modus befindet.
▪ Die 4 Temperaturstufen zum Warmhalten (ca. 50°C, 70°C, 90°C und 110°C) können durch das
Betätigen der Touch-Tasten Temperatureinstellung gewählt werden.
Achtung: die aufgeheizte Glasplatte wird heiß. Diese bei Betrieb nicht berühren.
Beispiel: Um die gewünschte Zieltemperatur von 50°C zu erreichen, muss das „+“-Symbol einmal
berührt werden (für 70°C dementsprechend zweimal, für 90°C dreimal etc.). Die weiße LED-Leuchte
erlischt, auf der Glasplatte blinkt die erste LED-Leuchte von links rot auf und zeigt an, dass das Gerät
auf die niedrigste Temperaturstufe aufheizt (ca. 50°C).

▪ Bei Erreichung der jeweiligen Zieltemperatur leuchten die jeweiligen LEDs durchgängig rot. Die
Lebensmittel können zum Warmhalten nun direkt auf die Glasplatte gelegt werden.
Achtung, Verbrennungsgefahr: Die aufgeheizte Glasplatte ist heiß. Vermeiden Sie es, die bereits
aufgeheizte Platte zu verschieben.
Hinweis: Die maximale Wärmeübertragung erfolgt bei einer möglichst großen Kontaktfläche.
Niedrigere Temperaturstufen (50°C oder 70°C) sind gut geeignet, um Speisen wie Pizza- oder
Quichestücke direkt auf der Glasplatte warmzuhalten. Da Teller oder sonstiges Geschirr zwischen
Glasplatte und Lebensmittel einen Großteil der Wärme absorbieren, muss eine höhere Temperatur-
stufe (90°C oder 110°C) gewählt werden, um eine optimale Warmhaltefunktion nutzen zu können.
▪ Um die Warmhaltefunktion nach der Nutzung abzuschalten, berühren Sie die „-“-Taste so oft, bis
auf der Glasplatte die erste LED-Leuchte von rechts weiß leuchtet und lassen Sie das Gerät gänzlich
erkalten.
Hinweis: Solange die Glasplatte nicht vollständig abgekühlt ist, blinkt auf der Glasplatte zusätz-
lich zur weißen LED-Leuchte die erste LED-Leuchte von links rot, um vor Verbrennungsgefahr zu
warnen. Beginnen Sie mit der Reinigung (siehe Kapitel Reinigung und Pflege) nicht, bevor diese rot
blinkende LED-Leuchte erloschen ist.
▪Hinweis: Aus hygienischen Gründen empfehlen wir, Speisen nicht länger als nötig warmzuhalten.
Kühlfunktion
▪ Im Lieferpaket der WMF Ambient Kühl- & Warmhalteplatte befindet sich ein Kühlelement. Dieses
muss mindestens 4 Stunden im Gefrierfach bei einer Temperatur von -18°C gekühlt werden, um die
maximale Kühlleistung zu erreichen bevor es in das Grundgerät eingesetzt wird.
Achtung: Erfrierungsgefahr bei längerem direktem Hautkontakt mit dem Kühlelement.
Achtung, Verbrennungsgefahr: War zuvor die Warmhaltefunktion aktiv, lassen Sie das Gerät
erst vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie die Glasplatte durch Betätigen der Auswurftaste entnehmen.
Achten Sie zusätzlich darauf, dass die Heizplatte vollkommen kalt ist, bevor das Kühlelement darauf
platziert werden darf.
▪ Positionieren Sie das Kühlelement genau auf die kalte Heizplatte und setzen Sie die Glasplatte auf
das Grundgerät, bis sie hörbar einrastet.

▪ Dadurch wird das Kühlelement hinuntergedrückt, eine größtmögliche Kontaktfläche zwischen Küh-
lelement und Glasplatte entsteht und die Kühlfunktion kann abhängig von der Umgebungstempe-
ratur für etwa 2 Stunden optimal genutzt werden.
▪ Verbinden Sie das Gerät mit der Schutzkontaktsteckdose und betätigen Sie die Ein-/ Aus-Taste. Auf
der Glasplatte leuchtet die erste LED-Leuchte von rechts blau auf und zeigt an, dass die Kühlfunk-
tion aktiv ist.

▪ Die blaue LED-Leuchte erlischt, sobald die Kühlfunktion nachgelassen hat und eine optimale
Kälteübertragung nicht mehr gewährleistet wird. Stattdessen leuchtet dieselbe LED-Leuchte weiß,
um den Standby-Modus anzuzeigen.
▪ Schalten Sie das Gerät nach Benutzung durch das Betätigen der Ein-/ Aus-Taste aus, bevor Sie mit
der Reinigung (siehe Kapitel Reinigung und Pflege) beginnen.
Hinweis: Abhängig von der Umgebungstemperatur kann Kondenswasser an der Glas- und auf der
Heizplatte entstehen. Wischen Sie nach Entnahme des Kühlelements das Kondenswasser auf der
Heizplatte mit einem Tuch ab.
WMF Ambient Light ein-/ ausschalten mit der WMF Easy Touch Technologie
▪ Sowohl zur Kühl- als auch zur Warmhaltefunktion kann das WMF Ambient Light zugeschalten
werden, sofern das Gerät mit der Schutzkontaktsteckdose verbunden und angeschaltet ist.
▪ Die WMF Easy Touch Technologie dient zur einfachen Bedienung des WMF Ambient Lights. Berüh-
ren Sie die Touch-Taste Ambient Light, um die Beleuchtung ein- und auszuschalten. Durch wieder-
holtes Berühren der Taste durchlaufen Sie 3 Helligkeitsstufen und das Ausschalten der Beleuchtung.
1. Berührung: 10 % Helligkeit,
2. Berührung: 50 % Helligkeit,
3. Berührung: 100 % Helligkeit
4. Berührung: Aus.
Hinweis: Wollen Sie das WMF Ambient Light weder in Kombination mit der Kühl- noch der Warm-
haltefunktion nutzen, verbinden Sie das Gerät mit der Schutzkontaktsteckdose und betätigen Sie
die Ein-/ Aus-Taste. Auf der Glasplatte leuchtet die erste LED-Leuchte von rechts weiß auf und zeigt
an, dass sich das Gerät im Standby-Modus befindet. In diesem Modus kann das WMF Ambient Light
beliebig eingestellt werden.
Reinigung und Pflege
▪ Hinweis: Abhängig von der Umgebungstemperatur kann Kondenswasser an der Glas- und auf der
Heizplatte entstehen. Wischen Sie nach Entnahme des Kühlelements das Kondenswasser auf der
Heizplatte mit einem Tuch ab.
▪ Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen Sie das Gerät ggf. abkühlen.
▪ Entfernen Sie Fett- oder sonstige Rückstände auf der Glasplatte am besten auf der noch handwar-
men Glasplatte mit einem Küchentuch.
▪ Ist die Platte vollkommen abgekühlt, betätigen Sie die Auswurftaste, um die Glasplatte vom Grund-
gerät abnehmen zu können.
▪ Reinigen Sie die Glasplatte mit lauwarmem Wasser unter Zugabe eines Spülmittels mit einem
weichen Spülschwamm. Die abnehmbare Glasplatte ist auch spülmaschinengeeignet.
Hinweis: Kein Scheuermittel, Metallschwamm oder Backofenreiniger verwenden.
▪ Das Grundgerät nie in Wasser tauchen oder mit Wasser behandeln. Nur mit einem feuchten Tuch
und etwas Spülmittel abwischen und trockenreiben.

Das Gerät entspricht den Europäischen Richtlinien 2014/35/EU, 2014/30/EU und
2009/125/EU.
Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den normalen
Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden, sondern muss an einem Sammelpunkt für das
Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden.

Important safety information
▪ The appliance is suitable for use by children aged 8+, people with
limited physical, sensory or mental capacities, and inexperienced
and unskilled users, provided that they are supervised or have been
taught how to use the appliance safely and have understood the
associated risks.
▪ Children must not play with the appliance.
▪ Children aged 8+ should not be allowed to clean or maintain the
appliance unless supervised.
▪ Keep the appliance and power cable out of reach of children under
8 years of age.
▪ If the power cable is damaged, it must be returned to the manu-
facturer’s central customer service department or another approved
person for replacement. Unauthorised repairs could put the user at
considerable risk.
▪ The appliance must not be operated using an external timer switch
or remote control.
▪ Clean all parts immediately after use and remove any scraps of
food.
▪ Follow the instructions in the section on Cleaning and care.
▪ The appliance is designed for indoor domestic use only.

Before use
Read the instruction manual carefully. The manual contains important information about operating
and caring for the appliance, plus safety instructions. Keep the manual in a safe place and pass it on to
any future owners.
Only use the appliance as intended and described in the instruction manual. Always follow the safety
instructions when using the appliance.

Additional safety information
▪ The appliance must only be used with a properly fitted power sockets. Keep the power cable and
plug dry at all times.
▪ The power cable must not come into contact with hot appliance parts.
▪ Any extension cable used must be in good condition. Make sure that the cable is long enough and
does not constitute a hazard.
▪ Place the appliance on a table when in use, with room for airflow; the appliance must not be
allowed to touch walls or solid objects.
▪ Place the appliance on a flat, sturdy surface.
▪ Do not place the appliance on delicate surfaces or soft furnishings such as glass tables, tablecloths
and varnished furniture.
▪ Do not use the appliance and unplug immediately in the following situations:

In such cases, return the appliance to be repaired.
▪ Warning: When the appliance is switched on, the outer surfaces can get very hot and will stay hot
after the appliance has been switched off.
▪ Caution, risk of burns: Do not move the appliance when it is hot. The heated glass plate will be
hot.
▪ Do not use to warm up sealed cans and glassware: they may explode.
▪ Always turn the appliance off after use. Unplug at socket and allow the appliance to cool down
completely before removing and cleaning the glass plate.
▪ Do not turn on the appliance when the glass plate has been removed – the hot heating element
will be exposed.
▪ Do not place kitchen utensils on the hotplate.
▪ Warning: Risk of frostbite from direct and prolonged skin contact with cooling element.
▪ Do not leave the appliance unattended.
▪ Unplug from the mains:

▪ The manufacturer does accepts no liability for any damage caused by misuse, incorrect operation

Using the appliance
The WMF Ambient Cooling & warming plate can be used to keep food hot or cold. Food can be placed
directly on the glass plate, which can be removed for easy cleaning. The WMF Ambient Light can also
be used as a decorative feature to create a stylish atmosphere.
Using the appliance for the first time
▪ Remove all packaging from the appliance.
▪ Before using the appliance for the first time, clean the glass plate with hot water and washing-up
liquid then dry carefully.
▪ Place the appliance on a stable, level surface close to a plug socket.
▪ Note: We recommend putting the appliance where you intend to use it, so as to avoid needing to
move the appliance when hot.
▪ Do not place any conductive objects next to the appliance. Remove any twists in the cable to
ensure that the WMF Easy Touch technology can work properly.
Warming plate
▪ The cooling element must be removed from the appliance in order to use the warming plate func-
tion.
▪ Carefully insert the glass plate in the appliance: you will hear it click into place.

Warning: Do not use the appliance without the glass plate in any circumstances.
▪ Plug the appliance in and press the on/off switch. The right-hand LED on the glass plate will light
up white; this means that the appliance is in standby mode.
▪ Use the touch controls to select on one of the four temperature settings for the hotplate: 50°C,
70°C, 90°C and 110°C.
Warning: The heated glass plate will be hot. Do not touch when the appliance is working.
For example: To heat the hotplate to 50°C, press the “+” symbol once; twice for 70°C, three times for
90°C, etc. The right-hand LED goes out and the left-hand LED on the glass plate flashes red to indicate
that the appliance is being heated to the lowest temperature setting (50°C).
▪ Once the target temperature has been reached, the LED will be a steady red. Food can now be
placed on the glass plate to be kept warm.

Warning: risk of burns: The heated glass plate will be hot. Do not move the plate when hot.
Note: Make sure as much food as possible is in contact with the plate to maximise the warming effect.
The lower temperature settings (50°C and 70°C) are ideal for keeping foodstuffs like pizza and slices of
quiche warm on the glass plate. If the food is placed on a plate or other container then on the glass
plate, the container will absorb a lot of the heat. You will therefore need to select a higher tempera-
ture (90°C or 110°C) in order to keep the food warm effectively.’
▪ To turn off the hotplate function after use, press the “-” symbol until the right-hand LED on the
glass plate lights up white, then leave the appliance to cool completely.
Note: In addition to the white LED , the left-hand LED will flash red until the glass plate has cooled
completely. The light indicates that the appliance could cause burns if touched. Do not begin
cleaning until the LED has stopped flashing red (see section on Cleaning and care).
▪Note: For reasons of hygiene, do not keep warm your dished longer as needed.
Cooling function
▪ The WMF Ambient Cooling & warming plate includes a cooling element. In order to provide maxi-
mum cooling capacity the cooling element must be chilled for at least four hours in the freezer at
-18°C before being placed in the appliance.
▪Warning: Risk of frostbite from direct and prolonged skin contact with cooling element.
Warning: risk of burns: If the warming function has been used earlier, allow the appliance to cool
completely before touching the glass plate and remove using the eject button. The glass plate must
be cool to the touch before the cooling element can be placed on the glass plate.
▪ Carefully place the cooling element on the glass plate, then fit the glass plate onto the appliance –
you will hear it click into place.

▪ The cooling element is held down so as to maximise contact with the glass plate. Depending on the
air temperature, the cooling feature can be used for up to two hours.
▪ Plug the appliance in and press the on/off switch. The right-hand LED on the glass plate will light
up blue to show that the cooling function is active.
▪ The blue LED light will turn off when the cooling function is no longer fully effective. The same
LED will light up white to indicate that the appliance is in standby mode.
▪ Turn the appliance off using the on/off switch after use. Turn off before cleaning (see section on
Cleaning and care).
Note: The air temperature may cause condensation to form on the glass and hotplate. After
removing the cooling element, use a tea towel to wipe any condensation off the hotplate.

Turn the WMF Ambient Light on and off using the WMF Easy Touch controls
▪ The WMF Ambient Light can be used in conjunction with the warming or cooling functions: the
appliance must be plugged in and turned on.
▪ The WMF Ambient Light is operated using WMF Easy Touch technology. Use the Ambient Light
touch control to turn the light on and off. Press the switch repeatedly to cycle through the three
brightness settings and turn the light off.
One press = 10 % brightness
Two presses = 50 % brightness
Three presses = 100 % brightness
Four presses = turn off
Note: If you do not want to use the WMF Ambient Light in conjunction with the warming and cooling
features, simply plug in the appliance and press the on/off switch. The right-hand LED on the glass
plate will light up white; this means that the appliance is in standby mode. In this mode, you can
select any WMF Ambient Light setting.
Cleaning and care
▪ Note: The air temperature may cause condensation to form on the glass and hotplate. After
removing the cooling element, use a tea towel to wipe any condensation off the hotplate.
▪ Unplug from the mains and if necessary allow the appliance to cool down.
▪ It is best to remove any fat and food scraps with kitchen towel while the glass plate is still warm to
the touch.
▪ Once the glass plate is cool to the touch, press the eject button to remove from the appliance.
▪ Wash the glass plate in lukewarm water with washing-up liquid and a sponge. The removable glass
plate is also dishwasher safe.
Note: Do not use abrasive detergents, metal scourers or oven cleaning products.
▪ Do not immerse the appliance in water or add water to clean. Simply put a little washing-up liquid
on a damp cloth, wipe the appliance and then pat dry.

Avant l’utilisation

Consignes de sécurité supplémentaires
▪ Brancher l’appareil uniquement dans une prise de courant de sécurité, installée conformément aux

Utilisation
Les aliments peuvent être conservés au froid ou au chaud sur la plaque de refroidissement et de
maintien au chaud WMF Ambient. Les aliments peuvent être posés directement sur la plaque de verre,
car celle-ci peut être enlevée pour un nettoyage facile. La WMF Ambient Light peut être utilisée en
tant que lumière de décoration pour une ambiance élégante.
Mise en service
▪ Retirer toutes les parties d’emballage de l’appareil.
▪ Avant la première utilisation, nettoyer la plaque de verre sous l’eau chaude en ajoutant un peu de
liquide vaisselle et la sécher soigneusement.
▪ Poser l’appareil sur une surface solide et plane, à proximité d’une prise de courant.
Remarque: si possible, placez l’appareil à l’emplacement souhaité afin d’éviter de transporter la
plaque chaude.
▪ Assurez-vous qu’aucun objet conducteur ne se trouve à proximité immédiate et faites passer le
câble en ligne droite à partir de l’appareil afin d’assurer un fonctionnement correct de la technolo-
gie WMF Easy Touch.
Fonction de maintien au chaud
▪ Le bloc réfrigérant doit être enlevé de l’appareil afin de pouvoir activer la fonction de maintien au
chaud.
▪ Placez soigneusement la plaque de verre sur la base de l’appareil jusqu’à ce qu’elle s’enclenche de
manière audible.

▪ Reliez l’appareil à la prise de courant et appuyez sur la touche marche/arrêt. Sur la plaque de verre,

▪ Les 4 niveaux de température pour le maintien au chaud (env. 50°C, 70°C, 90°C et 110°C) peuvent
être sélectionnés en appuyant sur les touches tactiles du réglage de la température.

Attention: la plaque de verre réchauffée devient chaude. Ne pas toucher celle-ci durant le fonction-
nement.
Exemple: afin d’atteindre la température souhaitée de 50°C, il faut appuyer une fois sur le symbole
«+ » (deux fois pour 70°C, trois fois pour 90°C, etc.). Le voyant LED blanc s’éteint. Sur la plaque de
verre, le premier voyant LED en partant de la gauche clignote en rouge et indique que l’appareil
chauffe au niveau de température le plus faible (env. 50°C).
▪ Lorsque la température souhaitée est atteinte, les voyants LED respectifs restent allumés en rouge.
Il est désormais possible de placer directement les aliments sur la plaque de verre afin de les
maintenir au chaud.
Attention, risque de brûlure: la plaque de verre réchauffée est chaude. Évitez de déplacer la
plaque déjà chauffée.
Remarque: la transmission de chaleur maximale nécessite une surface de contact la plus grande
possible. Les faibles niveaux de température (50°C ou 70°C) sont bien adaptés afin de maintenir au
chaud des plats comme des parts de pizza ou de quiche directement sur la plaque de verre. Comme
les assiettes ou les autres accessoires de vaisselle absorbent une grande partie de la chaleur entre la
plaque de verre et les aliments, il faut sélectionner un niveau de température élevé (90°C ou 110°C)
afin de pouvoir utiliser de façon optimale la fonction de maintien au chaud.
▪ Afin d’éteindre la fonction de maintien au chaud après l’utilisation, appuyez sur la touche «-»
jusqu’à ce que sur la plaque de verre, le premier voyant LED en partant de la droite s’illumine en
blanc, puis laissez l’appareil refroidir entièrement.
Remarque: tant que la plaque de verre n’a pas entièrement refroidi, le premier voyant LED en
partant de la gauche s’illumine en rouge en plus du voyant LED blanc sur la plaque de verre, afin de
prévenir qu’il existe un risque de brûlure. Ne débutez pas le nettoyage (voir le chapitre « Nettoyage
et entretien») avant que ce voyant LED clignotant en rouge soit éteint.
▪ Remarque: pour des raisons d’hygiène, nous recommandons de ne pas maintenir au chaud plus
longtemps que nécessaire les aliments.
Fonction de refroidissement
▪ La plaque de maintien au froid et au chaud WMF Ambient est fournie avec un bloc réfrigérant.
Celui-ci doit être placé pendant au moins 4 heures au congélateur à une température de -18°C
afin d’atteindre la performance de refroidissement maximale avant d’être inséré dans la base de
l’appareil.
Remarque: risque de gelure en cas de contact direct et prolongé de la peau avec le bloc réfrigé-
rant.
Attention, risque de brûlure: si auparavant la fonction de maintien au chaud était active, laissez
d’abord l’appareil refroidir entièrement avant d’ôter la plaque de verre via la touche d’éjection.
De plus, veillez à ce que la plaque chauffante soit entièrement froide avant d’y placer le bloc
réfrigérant.

▪ Positionnez le bloc réfrigérant exactement sur la plaque chauffante froide et placez la plaque de
verre sur la base de l’appareil jusqu’à ce qu’elle s’enclenche de manière audible.

▪ Cela permet d’abaisser le bloc réfrigérant afin de créer une surface de contact maximale entre le
bloc réfrigérant et la plaque de verre. Ainsi, la fonction de refroidissement peut être utilisée de
façon optimale pendant environ 2 heures, indépendamment de la température ambiante.
▪ Reliez l’appareil à la prise de courant et appuyez sur la touche marche/arrêt. Sur la plaque de
verre, le premier voyant LED en partant de la droite s’éclaire en bleu et indique que la fonction de
refroidissement est active.
▪ Le voyant LED bleu s’éteint dès que la fonction de refroidissement n’est plus aussi efficace et
qu’une transmission optimale du froid n’est plus garantie. Le même voyant LED s’illumine alors en
blanc afin d’afficher le mode veille.
▪ Après utilisation, éteignez l’appareil en appuyant sur la touche marche/arrêt avant de débuter le
nettoyage (voir chapitre «Nettoyage et entretien»).
Remarque: indépendamment de la température ambiante, de la condensation peut apparaître sur
la plaque de verre et la plaque chauffante. Après avoir ôté le bloc réfrigérant, essuyez la condensa-
tion de la plaque chauffante avec un chiffon.
Allumer/éteindre WMF Ambient Light grâce à la technologie WMF Easy Touch
▪ La WMF Ambient Light peut être utilisée aussi bien avec la fonction de refroidissement que la fonc-
tion de maintien au chaud, dans la mesure où l’appareil est relié à la prise de courant et allumé.
▪ La technologie WMF Easy Touch permet de piloter simplement la WMF Ambient Light. Appuyez sur
la touche tactile Ambient Light pour activer et désactiver l’éclairage. En touchant de nouveau la
touche, vous passez par les 3 niveaux de luminosité, puis vous pouvez éteindre l’éclairage.
1er contact: luminosité à 10 %
2econtact: luminosité à 50 %
3econtact: luminosité à 100 %
4econtact: arrêt.
Remarque: si vous souhaitez utiliser la WMF Ambient Light sans la fonction de refroidissement ou
de maintien au chaud, reliez l’appareil à la prise de courant et appuyez sur la touche marche/arrêt.
Sur la plaque de verre, le premier voyant LED en partant de la droite s’éclaire en blanc et indique que
l’appareil se trouve en veille. Dans ce mode, il est possible de régler la WMF Ambient Light comme vous
le souhaitez.
