SAFETY WARNINGS & CAUTIONS
WARNING: When using electric tools, machines or equipment, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS TOOL
1. Keep work area clean, cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Consider work area conditions. Do not use in damp, wet, or poorly lit locations. Don’t
expose to rain. Keep work area well lit. Do not use electrically powered equipment in
the presence of flammable gases or liquids.
3. Keep children away. All children should be kept away from the work area. Do not let
them handle machine.
4. Store idle equipment. When not in use, tools should be locked up in a dry location to
inhibit rust. If possible store in an area out of reach of children.
5. Do not force the machine or tool. It will do the job better and more safely at the rate for
which it was intended.
6. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry, as they can be caught in moving
parts. Wear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair, preventing it from getting
caught in machinery.
7. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
8. Maintain tools with care. Keep tools sharp and clean for better and safer performance.
Following instructions for lubricating and changing accessories. Keep handles dry, clean
and free from oil and grease.
9. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing and use common sense. Do not operate any tool
when you are tired.
10. Check damaged parts. Before using any tool, any part that appears damaged should be
carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended
function. Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts, breakage of
parts, mounting, and other conditions that may affect its operation. Any part that is
damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by an authorized service center unless
otherwise indicated elsewhere in the instruction manual.
11. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical replacement
parts. Only use accessories intended for use with this tool. Approved accessories are
available from Woodward Fab.
12. Do not operate tool if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Read warning labels on
prescriptions to determine if your judgment or reflexes are impaired while taking drugs.
If there is any doubt, do not operate machine.

IMPORTANT
This machine should be mounted on hard
ground or a specific stand (not supplied).
Coating is easily removed with a mild
solvent, such as mineral spirits and a soft
cloth. Avoid getting cleaning solution on
paint or any of the rubber or plastic parts, as
solvents may deteriorate these finishes. Use
soap and water on paint plastic or rubber
components. After cleaning, cover all
exposed surfaces with a light coating of oil.
INSTALLATION
1. Machine should be installed on a level
surface with proper lighting.
2. Machine can be mounted to a bench, a
vise, or an optional stand. Be sure to
leave room for crank handle to be
turned freely.
3. Area around machine should be clear
of scraps, oil, and dirt.
4. Apply a suitable, non-skid material to
the flooring below.
OPERATION
1. Please don’t operate the material width
and thickness than table list max range.
2. When you shear the plate or bar, you
must lengthen handle in order to
increase force. Please don’t touch the
blade during operation.
3. This machine is pre-adjusted before out
of factory. When you want to shear,
raise handle, the upper blade, insert the
workpiece, then lower the handle to
shear. Before shearing you can adjust
material to cut the workpiece.
MAINTENANCE
LUBRICATION
1. All exposed iron surfaces should be
coated with light oil to prevent
rusting. Use a multi-purpose or
bearing grease for lubrication.
2. The adjusting block should be
greased.
3. Oil the driving shaft through the oil
ports monthly.
