General information
Reading and keeping the instructions for use
These instructions for use belong together with the rechargeable
LED work light (referred to below as “the work light”). They contain
important information about handling and setting up the product.
Carefully read through the instructions for use and especially the safety
instructions before using the work light. Failure to observe these instructions for use
could result in serious personal injury or damage to the work light.
These instructions for use are based on the standards and regulations applicable in
the European Union. For use abroad, please also observe country-specific standards
and local laws.
Keep these instructions safe for future reference. If you pass on the work light to
someone else, please make sure that you also give them the instructions for use.
Use for the intended purpose
This work light is designed exclusively for illuminating indoor and outdoor working
areas. It is intended solely for personal use and is not suitable for trade use.
You should only use the work light as described in these instructions for use.
The working light is designed for handheld use only. Any other use is considered
improper and may lead to material or personal damage. The work light is not a toy.
The manufacturer or dealer does not accept any liability for damages that occur
due to use other than according to the intended purpose or to improper use.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols are used in these instructions, on the product itself or on the
packaging.
This symbol indicates useful additional information about operation.
Declaration of conformity (see chapter "Declaration of conformity"):
Products marked with this symbol comply with all applicable European
Economic Area regulations.
This symbol indicates electrical equipment that complies with
protection class III. That means that the work light runs on low-
voltage electricity and is operated by a safety extra-low voltage
(SELV).

General safety information
WARNING!
Electrical shock hazard!
Incorrect electrical installation or a power supply voltage that is too
high can potentially cause electric shocks.
− Only plug in the work light if the mains voltage of the
power outlet socket matches the voltage indicated on
the identification plate.
− You should only connect the work light to an easily accessible
power outlet socket so that you can quickly disconnect it
from the power supply in the event of a fault.
− Never operate the work light if it shows visible signs of
damage or if the power cord or mains plug is faulty.
− Do not open up the casing and only have the product re-
paired by qualified professionals. To that end you should
contact a specialist repairer. Liability or warranty claims are
excluded, if repairs are carried out independently, and if the
device is not connected or handled properly.
− The product may only be repaired using parts that match the
original equipment specifications. This work light contains
electrical and mechanical components that are indispensable
for protection against sources of danger.
− Do not immerse the work light in water or any other liquids.
− Do not position the work light above bathtubs, washbasins or
other objects filled with water.
− Never reach after an electrical device that is connected to the
power supply if it falls into water. In such cases you should
immediately unplug the mains plug from the power outlet
socket.
− Never pull on the USB charging cable to unplug the USB power
adaptor from the power outlet socket; always take hold of the
USB power adaptor itself.
− Keep the work light and the USB charging cable away from
naked flames and hot surfaces.
− Do not kink the USB charging cable and do not run it over
sharp edges.
− Do not use the work light in wet areas or in the rain.
− When the battery is fully charged, if you wish to clean the
work light or if a fault occurs, always switch the work light off
and unplug the USB power adapter form the power outlet
socket.
− Keep the work light and the USB charging cable away from
children.
− The rechargeable battery in the work light cannot be re-
placed. Never attempt to replace the rechargeable battery.
− Only recharge the battery of the work light indoors.

Risks for children and individuals with limited physical,
sensory, or mental abilities (such as partially disabled people,
elderly people with limited physical and mental capacities),
or a lack of experience and knowledge (such as older
children).
− This work light can be used by children aged 8 years and over,
as well as by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental
abilities or lacking in experience and knowledge, if they are
supervised or have been instructed as to the safe use of the
product and understand the resulting hazards. Children must
not be allowed to play with the work light.
Cleaning and maintenance may not be carried out by children
without proper supervision.
− Keep children under 8 away from the work light and the
power cord.
− Do not let children play with the packaging film. Children may
get caught in the packaging film while playing and suffocate.

Risk of explosion and fire!
Incorrect handling of the work light or the rechargeable battery can
potentially cause an explosion or fire.
− Keep the work light away from water, other liquids, naked
flames and hot surfaces.
− Do not cover the work light or the USB power adaptor with
objects or clothing.
− Keep the product at least 5 cm away from easily combustible
materials.
− Do not expose the work light to excessive heat such as direct
sunlight, fire or the like.
− Only charge the work light with the accessories supplied.
WARNING!
Risk of chemical burns!
Leaking battery fluids may cause chemical burns upon contact with
skin or other parts of the body.
− If fluid leaks out of the battery, avoid contact with skin, eyes
and mucous membranes. In the event of skin contact, rinse
the affected area immediately with plenty of clean water, and
seek medical advice without delay.
− If the battery is leaking, first make sure you are wearing
protective gloves and then remove leaked battery fluid with
a dry, absorbent cloth.
ATTENTION!
Danger of injury!
The LED light is very bright and may damage your eyes if you
look directly at it.
− Never look directly into the LED light of the work light when
it is switched on.
− When using the work light, be careful not to shine it into the
eyes of other people or animals.
PLEASE NOTE!
Risk of damage!
Incorrect handling of the work light may potentially damage it.
− The light source of this work light cannot be replaced. If the
light source has reached the end of its service life, replace the
entire work light.
− Stand the work light on an easily accessible, level, dry, heat-
resistant and sufficiently stable surface. Do not position the
work light near the edge of the surface.
− Never stand the work light on or near hot surfaces (cooker
hobs, etc.).
− Do not allow the USB charging cable to come in contact with
hot items.
− Do not expose the work light to the weather (rain, etc.).
− Do not use the work light for more than 3 hours at a time.
To prevent harmful deep discharging, please recharge the
battery after this period of use.
− If you are not going to use the work light for an extended
period of time, fully charge the battery before storing the work
light away.
− The work light is dimmable and must not be operated
with an external dimmer.

Checking the work light and package contents
PLEASE NOTE!
Risk of damage!
If you open the packaging carelessly with a sharp knife or other
sharp objects, the work light could easily be damaged.
− Be very careful when opening the packaging.
1. Remove the work light from the packaging.
2. Check that all package contents are present (see Fig. A).
3. Check if there is any damage to the work light or the individual components.
If that is the case, do not use the work light. Please contact the manufacturer
via the service address indicated on the warranty card.
Charging the work light
Before using the work light for the first time, you must fully charge its battery.
Charging the battery takes approx. 6 hours.

Risk of damage!
Incorrect handling of the work light may potentially damage it.
− Always switch off the work light while it is being charged.
1. Make sure that the work light is switched off.
2. Fully unwind the USB charging cable 2.
3. Plug the micro-USB connector into the micro-USB socket 5on the work light.
To do so, lift up the protective cover 7(see Figs. A and B).
4. Plug the cable into a USB port on a computer, laptop, etc. The battery charge level
indicator 3flashes green while the battery is being charged (see Fig. B).
5. As soon as the battery is fully charged, all three battery charge level indicator
lights will show blue. Disconnect the work light from the power supply.
Operation
The work light cannot be used while it is being charged.
The work light offers two brightness levels (100 % and 50%).
1. To check the charge level of the battery, press the battery charge level indicator
button 4(see Fig. B). If the battery is fully charged, all three battery charge
level indicator lights 3will show blue. The lower the charging level, the lower
the number of active indicator lights. If the battery is fully charged, the work light
can be used for approx. 2 hours (100 %) / 4 hours (50%).
2. Use the carry handle 1to carry the work light to where you wish to use it.
3. To switch on the work light, press the On/Off switch 8(see Fig. B).
The LED will then switch on at 100 % brightness.
4. To reduce the brightness, very lightly press the On/Off switch.
The LED will then switch to 50% brightness.
5. To set up the work light, tilt the carry handle so that the light shines on
the work area at the desired angle.
6. To switch off the work light, press the On/Off switch.
Using the battery as a power bank
− Connect the device you wish to charge to the work light using a USB charging
cable by plugging the USB connector into the USB socket 6(see Fig. B).

Incorrect handling of the work light may potentially damage it.
− Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles and also not sharp or metallic cleaning objects
such as knives, hard spatulas or similar objects. These can
damage the surface.
− Do not immerse the work light, the USB charging cable or the
USB power adaptor in water in order to clean them and never
under any circumstances put them in a dishwasher.
− Do not clean the work light or the USB charging cable under
running water or spray them with a garden hose or a pressure
washer.
− Remove dust and dirt from the work light with a soft, slightly dampened cloth.
− For stubborn dirt, use a mild detergent if necessary.
Storage
− Before storing the work light away, fully charge the battery
(see section headed “Charging the work light”).
− Always store the work light in a dry place where it is protected from direct
sunlight and inaccessible to children.

Disposal
Disposal of packaging
Dispose of the packaging according to material. Add cardboard and
carton to the waste paper, films to the recyclable materials.
Disposing of the work light
(Applicable in the European Union and other European states that have systems
for collecting recyclable materials)
Old electrical devices must not be disposed of as household
waste!
If the product is no longer usable, consumers are legally obliged to
dispose of used appliances separately from household waste,
e.g. at a recycling centre in their local community or district. It is thus
ensured that old devices are properly recycled, and that negative
impact on the environment is avoided. This is why electrical devices
are marked with this symbol.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of
with household waste!
As a consumer, you are legally obliged to dispose of all batteries,
whether they contain harmful substances* or not, at a collection
point in your municipality/city district or in trade, so that they can
be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
Take the complete work light (including the battery) to your local
recycling centre, making sure that the battery is fully discharged!
