XENITH X2 SIZE CHART
WIDEST POINT
MEASURE YOUR HEAD
Using a standard measuring tape, measure the circumference
of your head. Then consult the Xenith X2 Size Chart and
choose your correct size X2 helmet.
A proper fit is integral to a helmet’s performance. Please read
the following instructions to be sure your X2 is fitted properly,
or view our Fit Video at: xenith.com/fitvideo.
FIT CHECKPOINT
Ensure that you are measuring the head at the widest point,
about an inch above the ears and eyebrows.
Note: it may be helpful to do this in front of a mirror or seek the
help of a parent, coach or other staff member.

PROPER SETUP
Unbuckle all four snap buckles and feed the chinstraps through
the first slot of the snap buckles only. This will make it easier to
adjust the chinstraps during fitting.
FIT CHECKPOINT
Ensure that you have read and understand the warnings inside
your helmet and on the inside back cover of this booklet.
If not, take a moment and read them now.

SEAT THE HELMET ON YOUR HEAD
Use the image to the left and the diagram below to ensure
the helmet is seated properly on your head. The front edge
of the helmet should rest just above your brow, and not be
rotated excessively forward or backward. If you are between
sizes, choose the larger size and insert thicker comfort pads.
Thicker comfort pads are available from your local Xenith
Authorized Dealer or Xenith.com.
FIT CHECKPOINT
If the helmet is rotated properly but still seated too low on your
head, you may need thicker crown comfort pads.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONSFITTING INSTRUCTIONS
CINCH THE LOW STRAPS BY PULLING FIRMLY
OUTWARD
Pull the low chinstraps outward, which will cause the chincup
to slide up to meet your chin, and the Shock Bonnet to snug
down around your head. Be sure to pull evenly on both sides
so that the chincup stays centered. Do not overtighten, as this
may cause discomfort.
FIT CHECKPOINT
Ensure the chincup is centered and symmetrical.
If not, loosen the chincup and repeat Step 3.
Note: it may be helpful to do this in front of a mirror.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONSFITTING INSTRUCTIONS
ADJUST LOW BUCKLES AND SNAP INTO PLACE
Bring the low chinstraps under the jawline of the shell (as
shown) and up to the snap. Then slide each buckle along the
chinstrap and snap it into place, leaving minimal slack in the
chinstrap.
FIT CHECKPOINT
Ensure the pads of the shock absorbers in the jaw area make
solid contact with the side of the face.
If not, you may need the larger size jaw shock absorbers.
Note: if there is too much pressure in this area, you may need
smaller size jaw shock absorbers.

ADJUST THE HIGH CHINSTRAPS AND SNAP
INTO PLACE
Pull the high chinstraps upward so that the chincup pivots
under your chin. Slide the buckles down along each chinstrap
and snap into place, leaving minimal slack in the chinstrap.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONSFITTING INSTRUCTIONS
CHECK FOR PROPER FIT AND ADJUST AS
NEEDED
With all four buckles snapped into place, apply force to the
facemask in multiple directions. If there is excessive move-
ment, tighten the chinstraps further and readjust the buckles.
FIT CHECKPOINT
Ensure the helmet is secure by exerting upward force to the
facemask. The chincup should stay secure on the chin.
If not, unbuckle the high straps and adjust.
Note: if the helmet still wobbles excessively, you can order
thicker comfort pads, or you may need a smaller size.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONSFITTING INSTRUCTIONS
FEED STRAPS THROUGH BUCKLES TO LOCK
IN PLACE
Once you have tightened all four straps and the helmet feels
secure, lock the buckles into place by feeding the end of the
chinstrap through the second slot of the buckle.
CONGRATULATIONS
The fitting process is complete. However, a properly fit helmet is
only the first part of safer play. Please visit Xenith.com to learn
more about concussion prevention and the risks of using your
head to make contact.

XENITH WARRANTY
EMAIL: info xenith.com
PHONE: 978.328.5280
TOLL FREE: 866.888.2322
Xenith warrants the helmet shell for five (5) years and the assembled Shock Bonnet® (including the interior liner, all shock absorbers, jaw guides, cable, shell
cable guides, wishbone, and hook/loop attachments) for two (2) years. In the event of any failure of any warranted components, the complete helmet including
the Shock Bonnet® must be returned to the place of purchase along with proof of purchase indicating purchase date, as well as the place and dates of recondi-
tioning, if applicable. The helmet will be returned to Xenith for inspection, repair or replacement and returned to the purchaser free of charge.
You may replace worn components (facemasks, facemask clips, snap buckles, chin straps, chin cups) with only Xenith approved replacement parts (see your
Dealer or contact Xenith for details). Xenith recommends annual reconditioning by a Xenith authorized reconditioner; failure to do so may adversely affect the
performance of the helmet. A list of authorized reconditioners may be obtained from your local Xenith authorized dealer or by contacting Xenith’s customer
service department. Xenith recommends that helmets be retired from service not later than ten (10) years after initial use.
This Warranty shall be void as a result of any of the following:
1. Repairs or alterations made to the helmet which modify or alter the helmet including the removal of any warning labels.
2. Use of helmet replacement parts other than Xenith approved replacement parts.
3. Failure to use a Xenith authorized helmet reconditioner.
4. Failure to recondition the helmet at least once every two (2) years.
5. Painting of the shell by anyone other than Xenith or a Xenith authorized helmet reconditioner.
Warranty Exclusions: The following components are not warranted: chin pieces, low and high chin straps, snap buckles, facemasks, facemask clips, and
fastening hardware including but not limited to T-nuts, screws and snaps.
Shock Absorber Alteration Warning:
Xenith uses several types of shock absorbers in every football helmet. Each type of shock absorber is designed differently and strategically placed in the interior
liner to achieve the desired performance. Shock absorbers should not be interchanged or swapped from one location to another. Altering the shock absorber
configuration could result in adversely affecting the performance of the helmet. Xenith disclaims any responsibility or liability resulting from unauthorized
alteration of the shock absorber configuration. You may only replace worn or damaged jaw and crown shock absorbers with identical Xenith replacement parts.
If you have any questions about this warranty, please consult your dealer or contact Xenith customer service at 1-866-888-2322.
