INTRODUCTION
Read this user manual completely before using the device. In the appendices (from
page 31) you will find the technical specifications of the PurePower inverters.
This DC-AC inverter converts a 12 or a 24 Volts DC voltage into a AC voltage with
a pure sine wave (230VAC). With this device it is possible, with use of the right
battery, to supply equipment that normally requires a mains supply.
Important
Always check the actual power rating of the equipment (power consumption). In
addition, bear in mind the surge powers. These (start-up) peaks can be as much
as 5-7 times the continuous power consumption. Check whether these values
are within the capacity limits of the inverter. Equipment with high surge power
are for example: air conditioning, vacuum cleaner, tools and pumps. If you want
to use multiple equipment at the same time, then add up the power
consumptions.
For the models from 600Watt different remote controls are available as an
optional, see page 20. For the 'PLUS' models, the free downloadable Xenteq
'PurePower' app is available. This allows the inverter to be read remotely and
various settings can be changed. More information about this can be found in this
manual.
This DC-AC inverter is a floating grid system. The output voltage can therefore only
be measured on both output pins and not relative to the earth connection.
FEATURES AND PROTECTIONS
USB output
All models have an USB port. Here you can connect your 5Volt users, like mobile
phone charger, directly. The maximum load for this output is 2,1Amp.
Sleep mode (PLUS models)
By means of the 'sleep mode', the inverter will switch to a power-saving mode when
the output load falls below the set level. During the 'sleep mode' the 230VAC output
is switched off. If the load again exceeds the set level, the inverter will be
reactivated automatically.
The 'sleep mode' is switched off as factory setting. This function can be switched
on or off via the PurePower app and the desired load level can also be set.
Fan
The fan is both temperature- and load controlled. At a certain load level (25% ~
35%), depending per model, the fan will switch on automatically. Also at an internal
high temperature the fan will switch on automatically.
With the ‘PLUS’ models, the desired control can be determined via the PurePower
app.
