Running the Training Program
To run the training program using the Phaser 7300 Customer Support Training CD-ROM:
1. Insert the Phaser 7300 Customer Support Training CD-ROM into your computer.
2. The CD-ROM is designed to autorun. If the autorun feature on your computer is
disabled, open the CD-ROM and double-click the p7300.exe icon to run the program.
3. To begin the training, click the Overview or Differences link.
Browser
The training runs in a standard browser window. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 is the
recommended browser, although other browsers may be used.
Macromedia Flash
The Macromedia Flash ActiveX Control/Plug-in must be installed on your computer to use the
training CD-ROM. If Flash is not detected by the training program, you will be prompted to run
the Flash installer.
Installing Flash
If Flash is not installed, use the following procedure to install Flash for your browser:
1. Insert the Phaser 7300 Customer Support Training CD-ROM.
2. Browse to the installers folder.
3. For Internet Explorer, double-click the InstallAXFlash.exe program. For Netscape
Navigator, double-click the flash32.exe program.
4. Follow the instructions to install Flash.
Adobe Acrobat Reader
Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view the PDF documents contained on the Phaser 7300
Customer Support Training CD-ROM. If Acrobat Reader is not installed, use the following
procedure to install it on your computer:
1. Insert the Phaser 7300 Customer Support Training CD-ROM.
2. Browse to the installers folder.
3. For Windows, double-click the rp505enu.exe program. For Macintosh, double-click
the ar505enu.bin program.
4. Follow the instructions to install Acrobat Reader.
Supported Operating Systems
The following operating systems may be used to run the training program:
■Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition (Me)
■Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP
