Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimize the risk of injury we urge that our cli-
ents take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation in-
structions carefully and make sure you have understood its content.
Keep these operation instructions safe.
Safety instructions
•Keep the work area clean and tidy. Untidy work areas invite accidents.
•Observe the environmental conditions of the work area.
◦Do not expose the winch to rain.
◦Do not use it in a damp environment.
◦Make sure that the environment of the work area is well lit (sunlight or artificial lighting).
•Dress appropriately.
◦Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery and tie long hair securely. In case they get caught
up in the moving parts, serious injury might follow.
◦Wear work gloves and non-slip footwear.
•lways use the most appropriate device for the job to do. Do not force the device.
◦Do not force a small device or accessory to do the work of a heavy-duty device.
◦Do not use the tool for purposes other than those that it is intended for. The tool will do a
better and safer job at its rated capacity than if it is used for purposes for which it has not
been designed.
•Keep a safe distance.
◦Keep yourself and others at a safe distance from the work area, the device and the steel
cable being tensioned.
◦Keep bystanders (especially children) and animals away from the work area.
◦Keep the winch away from children or their vicinity.
◦Never allow children to operate the winch. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the winch.
•Safety at work:
◦Transport the winch witch both hands.
◦Wear the correct protective equipment according to the working environment.

◦Important! Never pull loads that exceed the maximum capacity of the winch.
◦Do not attempt to pull stationary or fixed loads.
◦Do not apply lateral force to the load.
◦Not suitable for lifting loads and never for transporting people.

◦Check the correct alignment of the moving parts and ensure that there are no blockages.
Check the fastening devices, too, and make sure that there are no broken parts or other
conditions that could affect proper operation.
◦Check the steel cable regularly for signs of cracks and wear. Have a damaged cable re-
placed by qualified personnel.
•Repairing the winch:
◦Only identical spare parts should be used for repairs to avoid endangering the user.
◦Repair of the winch should be carried out by a qualified specialist using original spare
parts to avoid endangering the user.
•Maintaining the product:
◦Keep the product properly maintained and clean for better and safer performance.
◦Follow the instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
◦Check all moving parts, fixing bolts and nuts before use. Tighten them if necessary.
◦Keep the handles dry, clean and free from oil and grease.

◦To wind up the cable correctly, it must be lightly tensioned. To do this, hold the cable in
one hand (wearing protective gloves) and wind it up with the other hand.
◦Make sure that the cable does not slip through your hand.
•Caution! Do not overreach and stay alert.
◦Keep a secure footing and balance at all times.
◦Be aware of your actions and always work with foresight and caution.
◦Do not use the product if you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medi-
cine.
•Important! The user and/or the operator are responsible for all damage caused to property
and persons.
•Store equipment that is not in use: When not in use, the winch must be stored locked in a dry
place. lways keep the winch locked and out of the reach of children.
•ccessories: The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer or specified in
the operating instructions may cause injury or damage to property.
Warnings
1. Never overload the winch!
2. This winch is designed for pulling, not for lifting!
3. Never bring your hand or anything else near the gear, drum and cable. lways wear gloves
when using the winch.
4. Never attempt to repair the winch. Only have repairs carried out by a qualified professional.
5. When replacing the cable, make sure that the end of the cable fits into the four holes on the
side of the cable drum and knot or weld the end of the cable to prevent the cable from loosen -
ing.
6. Use grease for the axle and gearbox before prolonged storage.
Maintenance and storage
1. Follow the instructions for regular lubrication.
2. Lubricate the cable and hook regularly with light grease.
3. Lubricate the drives every 6 months. Use a good quality waterproof grease.
4. Regularly check all parts, the steel cable and the accessories. Have them replaced if they are
damaged or worn.
5. Check the nuts regularly and tighten them if they are loose.
6. The winch must be stored in a dry place. lways lock it away and keep it out of the reach of
children.
