to tighten all the fasteners
used in the assembly process.

Fasten back supports to seat using 2" bolts. Only
finger tighten. Be sure the back supports angle
away from the seat. Repeat on opposite side.
Place seat, with back supports attached, in this
position.
From the inside of the seat thread a 1 1/2" bolt
through the bottom front hole of the seat into the
insert nut on the arm support.
Place washer on the eye bolt and thread through the
farm support (hole is predrilled) and through the
remaining hole on the seat.

Fasten eye bolt with a washer and
lock nut. Repeat steps 4 and 5 on
opposite side.
Place seat in this position. Then using 4" hex bolt,
with a washer through the last link on the chain
pack and through the hole on the armrest, begin
fastening the armrest to the back support.
Complete fastening the armrest to the back support
using a washer and lock nut. Tighten using 1/2"
socket.
Fasten front of armrest to front arm support using
lags. Tighten immediately.
Repeat on opposite side.

Place swing in this position and install back as
directed in next step.
Install the back using lags through the predrilled
hole on back support and into pilot hole on back
cross pieces. Two lags on each end of the swing.
Start all four lags then tighten.
Tighten all other bolts at this time.
Open chain bag. There will be two "ends" in the bag.
Place one end through the hole in the armrest.
Then fasten chain to eye bolt using the quick link.
In most situation the swing hangs properly when
the chain is fastened to the eye bolt on the last link,
but it can be adjusted for more tilt.
