Smart Power Strip

With independent control of 4 smart outlets, plus control of 4 USB ports, you can easily control
lights and home electric devices via YoLink App on your iOS or Android devices, as well as popular
voice assistants and 3rd-party automaon apps such as IFTTT

Set up
Set up - First-Time YoLink Users (Exisng users proceed to Add device, next page)
* Get ready : your Smart Power StripTo set up and use , you w ill need an Apple iPhone o r tabl et that is iOS 9.0 o r hig her, or an Android phone
or tablet th at is A ndr oid 4.4 or higher
Follow the steps below to set up your Smart Power Strip via the YoLink app
Download YoLink app through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Log in or create a new account if required
Download, and log
in to YoLink app

YoLink Hub is required to set up your Smart Power Strip. Please set up your YoLink Hub first
(refer to YoLink Hub manual)
* Ethernet patch cable (included) to your network

Otherwise connect your Hub to your home Wi-Fi
network. Refer to the Hub set up manual for more
informaon:

You can have a maximum 10 schedules at one me
You may add as many schedules as you want in Automaon sengs. Automaon sengs are saved
in the cloud

Connect YoLink with third-party voice assistants service to control or mo nitor the status of
your devices through voice commands
* Smart Power Strip is integrated with Alexa and Google Assistant, and is also integrated with IFTTT .com, works as acon devices using IFTTT

About YoLink Control
YoLink Control is our unique device-to-device control technology. Using YoLink Control, YoLink
devices can be controlled without the Hub or an internet connecon. (Use of YoLink Control is
oponal; you can use the Automaon feature in the app OR use YoLink Control, but YoLink
Control offers the benefit of operaon without the Hub or internet connecon.)
One device controls another, directly. A device that sends out commands is called the controller. A
device that receives the commands is called the responder. Examples of a controller are a Door
Sensor or Smart Power Strip, while examples of a responder are another Smart Power Strip or a
YoLink Plug Mini

To configure your as a controller, turn the power strip into all on status Smart Power Strip
(verify the power status LED of all plugs and USB ports are red). Press and hold the
POWER buon for 5-10 seconds unl the LED quickly blinks blue
Upon pairing, the LED will stop blinking (this may happen aer only blinking two or three mes)
To configure a as the responder n on the plug using YoLink Plug Mini . Tur POWER buon or
via YoLink app Mini (verify the Status LED of YoLink Plug displays blue). Press and hold the
POWER buon for 5-10 seconds unl the LED quickly blinks blue

Note
If you want to turn off the YoLink Plug when the power strip is all on, turn off the YoLink Mini
Plug first, and let it enter pairing mode Mini
For the same and YoLink Plug , you can only choose to either turn on Smart Power Strip Mini
or turn off the YoLink Plug when the power strip is all on Mini
If you want to turn on o r off the Mini when the , Yo Lin k Plu g power strip is al l off tu rn th e
power strip into al l off status (verify the power status L ED of all plugs a nd US B ports are
no t on), and l et the al l off power strip enter pairing mode
Also for the same and YoLink Plug , you can only choose to either turn Smart Power Strip Mini
on or turn off the YoLink Plug when the power strip is all off Mini

Unpairing
At the Smart Power Strip (controller), press and hold the POWER buon for 10-15 seconds

Upon un-pairing, either the Smart Power Strip LED or the YoLink Plug Mini LED will stop blinking
and return to the previous color (blue for turned on, red for turned off)
At the YoLink Plug Mini (responder), press and hold the POWER buon for 10-15 seconds,
unl the LED quickly blinks blue, then red
The YoLink Plug Mini will no longer respond when the Smart Power Strip is all on

Maintenance
Firmware Update
To ensure our customers have the best user experience,
we highly recommend you update to the newest version
firmware when an update is available
In “Firmware”, if a new version is listed as available (####
ready now), click it to start the firmware update process
You may use your device during the update as it is
performed in the background. The LED light will slowly
blink blue during the update and the process will be
complete within 2 minutes aer the light stops blinking
