PRODUKTBEZEICHNUNG
Die ACQUEx LED-T8-Leuchte ist eine explosionsgeschützte LED-Leuchte, die mit
LED-Röhren hergestellt wird, um eine Lichtquelle mit hohem Lichtstrom zu liefern.
ACQUEx LED-T8 Leuchten sind mit erhöhtem Sicherheitsschutz für Gas- und gegen
Staubzündung durch Schutzart mit EPL Gc und Dc konstruiert.
Die ACQUEx LED-T8-Leuchten bestehen aus einem gelben oder grauen Gehäuse
aus glasfaserverstärktem Polyester-GRP, das von einem transparenten Diffusor aus
hochschlagfestem Polycarbonat abgedeckt wird, in dem auf einem Metallträger der
Konstantstromtreiber und die LED-Röhren installiert sind. Sowohl das Gehäuse als
auch der Diffusor sind UV-beständig und schwer entflammbar.
Die Wasserdichtigkeit der Leuchten wird durch eine durchgehende Polyurethan-
Dichtung gewährleistet und durch 8 bis 10 Inox-Klammern gehalten, von denen 2
durch Schrauben auf der gegenüberliegenden Diagonale gesichert sind.
Das Leuchtengehäuse erlaubt bis zu 4 Kabeleinführungen für die Montage von
metrischen Ex-zertifizierten Kabelverschraubungen oder metrischen Ex-zertifizierten
Steckern.
Der elektrische Anschluss kann im Inneren der Leuchte über eine 3x2,5mm

Kabelverschraubungen und Durchgangsdrähten (LV) mit einer maximalen
Stromstärke von 10A ausgestattet werden.

VERSIONSTYPEN
Die ACQUEx LED-T8 Leuchte kann in verschiedenen Längen- und
Lumenausführungen geliefert werden. Die Kodierung des Produkts wird wie folgt

VERWENDUNGSZWECK
ACQUEx LED-T8 Leuchten sind für den Einsatz in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen
in Industrieanlagen und Bereichen der Zone 2 oder Zone 22 bestimmt, in denen nicht
damit zu rechnen ist, dass eine explosionsfähige Atmosphäre durch Gase, Dämpfe,
Nebel oder aufgewirbelten Staub auftritt, aber wenn sie dennoch auftritt, dann aller
Wahrscheinlichkeit nach nur selten und während eines kurzen Zeitraums.
Die Beleuchtungskörper müssen für die Umgebungsbedingungen der Anlage, für die
sie bestimmt sind, geeignet sein und in geschlossenen Räumen oder im Freien unter
Abdeckung installiert werden.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Bevor Sie mit den Arbeiten an der Leuchte beginnen, sollten Sie dieses Handbuch
sorgfältig durchlesen.
Bei der Auswahl der Leuchte für eine bestimmte Anwendung, bei der Installation und
während des Betriebs müssen die Konstruktions- und Installationsnormen sowie die
gute technische Praxis und die geltende örtliche Gesetzgebung beachtet werden.

EINBAUANWEISUNG
ACQUEx LED-T8-Leuchten sind für die Beleuchtung in einem bestimmten Bereich
vorgesehen und dürfen nur von entsprechend geschultem und qualifiziertem, autorisiertem
Personal und in Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen der geltenden Normen,
insbesondere der EN 60079-14, installiert werden.
Vergewissern Sie sich vor der Installation, dass die auf dem Kennzeichnungsetikett der
Leuchte angegebenen Informationen, insbesondere der Geräteschutzgrad, die Schutzart,
die Gas- und Staubgruppe, die Umgebungstemperatur und die Temperaturklasse für die
vorgesehene Anwendung geeignet sind.
Die in dieser Anleitung oder/und in der UE-Konformitätserklärung angegebene maximale
Umgebungstemperatur (Ta) der ACQUEx LED-T8-Leuchten darf nicht überschritten
werden.
ACQUEx LED-T8 Leuchten müssen außerhalb von zugigen Bereichen installiert werden,
um die Ansammlung von elektrostatischen Ladungen zu vermeiden.
ACQUEX LED-T8 Leuchten können mit kompatiblem Zubehör an der Decke oder an der
Wandoberfläche befestigt werden. Es liegt in der Verantwortung des Installateurs, zu
prüfen, ob das gewählte Träger- und Befestigungssystem mit der Anwendung kompatibel
ist. Weitere Informationen finden Sie am Ende des Handbuchs.
ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS
Der elektrische Anschluss an die ACQUEx LED-T8 Leuchte ist an der Steckklemme
im Inneren des Gehäuses an einer Steckklemme gemäß den in der Leuchte
enthaltenen Anweisungen vorzunehmen. Der Anschluss muss mit einem ein- oder
mehradrigen Kupferkabel mit Aderendhülse und einem Querschnitt von 2,5mm

erfolgen.
Wichtige Informationen zu den Vorschaltgeräten (EVG)
Eingriffe in den Neutralleiter in einem Drehstromnetz können zu
Überspannungsschäden in der Beleuchtungsanlage führen. Neutralleiter-
Trennklemme nur im spannungslosen Zustand öffnen und vor dem Wiedereinschalten
schließen.
Für Steuereingänge von dimmbaren EVG (DALI, etc.) Netzkabel verwenden.
Bei den Ausführungen ET oder ET+LV leuchtet die Leuchte nach Anschluss an eine
aktive Stromquelle automatisch auf.
Bei den Versionen ETDD oder ETDD+LV wird nach Anschluss an eine aktive
Stromquelle die Regelung des Lichtstroms über das Kommunikationsprotokoll DALI
gesteuert.

KABEL-EINGÄNGE
ACQUEX LED-T8 sind mit einer oder mehreren M20- oder M25-Einführungen
ausgestattet. Vergewissern Sie sich vor dem Anschließender Stromleitung, dass jeder
Eingang ordnungsgemäß mit einer Ex-zertifizierten Kabelverschraubung oder einem
Ex-zertifizierten Stecker ausgestattet ist.
WARNUNG - provisorische Transportstecker sind keine Ex-zertifizierten Stecker und
müssen vor der Verwendung entfernt und durch geeignete Einführungen ersetzt
werden.
WARTUNG UND BETRIEB
Die Wartung von ACQUEx LED-T8 muss von autorisierten und qualifizierten Personen in
Übereinstimmungmit den Anforderungender geltenden Normen, insbesondere EN60079-
17, durchgeführt werden.
Aufgrund der potentiellen elektrostatischen Gefahr müssen ACQUEx LED-T8 Leuchten
regelmäßig mit einem feuchten Tuch gereinigt werden, um die Bildung einer Staubschicht
zu vermeiden.
Jegliche Wartungsarbeiten im Inneren der Leuchte, mit Ausnahme des Austausches von
LED-Röhren, sind nicht erlaubt und können nur vom Hersteller durchgeführt werden.

TRANSPORT UND LAGERUNG
Lagerung und Transport von ACQUEx LED-T8 Leuchten müssen in den
Originalkartons, in geschlossenen Räumen ohne Feuchtigkeit und fern von Wärme-
oder Lichtquellen erfolgen. Es ist nicht erlaubt, die Leuchten im Freien zu lagern, auch
wenn die Kartons mit Plastikfolien oder ähnlichen Systemen geschützt sind.
ACQUEx LED-T8-Leuchten sollten horizontal in geschlossenen Räumen bei einer
Temperatur von mindestens -5°C und höchstens +40°C gelagert werden, fern von
Heizungen.
RECYCLING UND BESEITIGUNG
Das Symbol eines durchgestrichenen Abfallbehälters, das auf dem
Produkt erscheint, zeigt an, dass es den Bestimmungen der
europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU (WEEE) unterliegt.
Für detailliertere Informationen zum Produktrecycling wenden Sie
sich bitte an den Hersteller, an eine lokale Regierungsstelle oder an
die Dienste der Abfallwirtschaft.

BESONDERE BEDINGUNGEN FÜR DIE SICHERE VERWENDUNG
Die Leuchten ACQUEx LED-T8 sind für die Festinstallation vorgesehen.
Die Leuchten ACQUEx LED-T8 müssen außerhalb von Bereichen mit Luftströmung
installiert werden, um die Ansammlung von elektrostatischen Ladungen zu vermeiden.
Die Leuchten ACQUEx LED-T8 müssen regelmäßig feucht gereinigt werden, um
Staubansammlungen und das Risiko einer elektrischen Entladung zu vermeiden.
Die Leuchten ACQUEx LED-T8 dürfen nur mit einer Stromversorgung betrieben
werden, die einen prospektiven Kurzschlussstrom von höchstens 1500A aufweist.
Die Leuchte ACQUEx LED-T8 darf nur innerhalb des in dieser Anleitung angegebenen
Ta-Bereichs verwendet werden.
Wenn Metallkabelverschraubungen installiert werden und die Installation eine Erdung
erfordert, muss eine spezielle Erdungsscheibe verwendet werden, um die
Kabelverschraubungen zu verbinden. Alle Kabeleinführungen müssen bei der
Installation an der Unterseite oder an der Seite der Leuchte ausgerichtet sein.
Wenn Klemmen oder interne Durchgangsverdrahtungen verwendet werden, um eine
Einschleif- oder Durchgangsverbindung in der Versorgungsleitung herzustellen, muss
die Leitung geschützt werden, um den Strom auf maximal 10 A zu begrenzen.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The ACQUEx LED-T8 luminaire is an LED explosion-proof luminaire design and
manufactured with LED tubes to provide a high flux light source.
ACQUEx LED-T8 luminaries are design with increased safety protection type and
against dust ignition by enclosure protection type with EPL Gc and Dc.
ACQUEx LED-T8 luminaries design consist of a yellow or grey main housing of fibre
glass reinforced polyester GRP covered by atransparent diffuser made of high impact
resistant polycarbonate inside which are installed on a metallic tray: constant current
driver and led tubes. Both housing and diffuser have UV and flammability resistance
characteristics.
Watertightness of the luminaires is made by a continuous polyurethane gasket and
kept close by 8 to 10 inox clips 2 of which are blocked in the closed position by
diagonally opposite screws.
Luminaire enclosure allowed up to 4 cable entries intended for mounting Ex certified
metric cable-glands or Ex certified metric plugs.
Electrical connection can be made inside the luminary on a 3x2.5 mm

pushin terminal block. Optionally the luminaire can be provided with two cable glands

The ACQUEx LED-T8 luminaire can be provided with different versions of length and
lumens. The codification of the product is described as follow:

INTENDED USE
ACQUEx LED-T8 luminaires are intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres in
industrial installations and areas classified as zone 2 or zone 22, where the formation of
explosive atmospheres due to gases, vapours, mists, or air/dust mixtures are unlikely to
occur or, if they do occur, are likely to do so only infrequently and for a short period of time.
Lighting fixtures shall be suitable for ambient condition of the installation for which they
are intended and shall be installed indoor or outdoor under cover.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before attempting any works related to the equipment, the provisions of this manual
should be read thoroughly.
Design and installation standards as well as good engineering practices and current
local legislation must be followed during the selection of the luminaire for a given
application, during installation and during operation.
The safety rules of this type of equipment should be observed and following the
guidelines of the manual is a condition for warranty claims.

INSTALATION INSTRUCTION
ACQUEx LED-T8 luminaires are designed to provide lighting in a specific area and must
be installed by suitably trained and qualified, authorized personnel only and in accordance
with the requirements of current standards, specifically EN 60079-14.
Before installation, ensure that information specified on the luminaire marking label, in
particular the equipment protection level, ingress protection, gas and dust group,
ambient temperature and temperature class are suitable for the intended application.
The ACQUEx LED-T8luminaires maximum ambient temperature (Ta), indicated in this
manual or/and in the UE-declaration of conformity must not be exceeded.
ACQUEx LED-T8 luminaires must be installed away from draughty areas to avoid
accumulation of electrostatic charges.
ACQUEX LED-T8 luminaires might be fix to the ceiling or the wall surface using
compatible accessories. It is the installer's responsibility to check if the selected
support and fixing system is compatible with the application. Further information is at
the end of the manual.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Electrical connection to the ACQUEx LED-T8 luminaire is to be made at the push wire
terminal block inside the enclosure on push-in terminal block following instructions
included in the luminaire. Connection must be made by single core or multiwire cooper
cable terminated by ferule of 2.5mm
2
cross section.
Important Information Regarding Control gear (ECG)
Interference to the neutral conductor in a three-phase system may result in surge-
related damage in the lighting installation. Only open neutral conductor-disconnect
terminal when disconnected from power supply and close prior to switching back on.
Use mains cables for control inputs of dimmable ECG (DALI, etc.).
In case of the versions ET or ET+LV, once connected to an active source of power
supply, the luminaire will light up automatically.
In case of the versions ETDD or ETDD+LV, once connected to an active source power
supply, the regulation of the luminous flux is controlled by means of the protocol of
communication DALI.
WARNING – For ETDD version ambient temperature shall be check
according to max input wattage of the luminaire as indicated in the
Maximum Ambient Temperature table at the end of this document!

CABLE ENTRIES
ACQUEX LED-T8 are provided with one or several M20 or M25 entries. Before
connecting the power line unsure that every entry is dully fitted with an Ex certified
cable-gland or Ex certified plug.
WARNING –temporary transport plugs are not Excertified plugs and must be remove
and replace by suitable entries before use.
MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION
The ACQUEx LED-T8 maintenancemust be carriedon by authorized andqualified persons
in accordance with the requirements of current standards, specifically EN 60079-17.
Due to potential electrostatic hazard ACQUEx LED-T8 luminaires must be periodically
cleaned using only a damp cloth to avoid formation of dust layer.
Any maintenance work inside the luminary, at exception of LED tubes replacement, is
not allowed and can only be carried out by the manufacturer.

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Storage and transport of ACQUEx LED-T8 luminaires must be carried out in its original
boxes, in closed places free of humidity and far from any heat or light source. It is not
allowed to store luminaires in an open space, even if the boxes are protected with
plastic sheeting or similar systems.
ACQUEx LED-T8 luminaires should be stored horizontally in closed areas at a
temperature not lower than -5°C and not exceeding +40°C away from heaters.
RECYCLING AND DISPOSAL
The symbol of a container of waste crossed out that appears on the
product indicates that it is subject to the provisions of the European
Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE).

services of management of waste.

SPECIAL CONDITION FOR SAFE USE
ACQUEx LED-T8 luminaires are designed for permanent installation.
The luminaires ACQUEx LED-T8 must be installed away from zones with air flow to
avoid the accumulation of electrostatic charges.
The luminaires ACQUEx LED-T8 must be periodically cleaned with a wet damp to
avoid accumulation of dust and risk of electric discharge.
The luminaires ACQUEx LED-T8 shall only be employed with a power supply which
has a prospective short circuit current not exceeding 1500A.
The luminaires ACQUEx LED-T8 luminaire must be use within the range of Ta
specified in this manual.
When metal cable glands are installed and the installation requires earthing, a
specific earthing washer shall be used to connect the cable glands. All cables entries
shall be oriented on the bottom or on the side of the luminaires when installed.
When terminals or internal pass-through wiring are used to make a loopin-loopout or
passthrough connection inthe supply line, the line mustbe protected to limit thecurrent
to a maximum of 10 A.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PRODUCTO
La luminaria ACQUEx LED-T8 es una luminaria LED protegida contra explosiones
diseñada y fabricada con tubos LED para proporcionar una fuente de luz de alto flujo.
Las luminarias ACQUEx LED-T8 están diseñadas con un modo de protección de
seguridad aumentada para gas y contra la ignición de polvo, mediante un modo de
protección de envolvente. Es decir, con EPL Gc y Dc, respectivamente.
El diseño de las luminarias ACQUEx LED-T8 consiste en una carcasa principal
amarilla o gris de poliéster GRP reforzado con fibra de vidrio cubierta por un difusor

instalan, sobre una bandeja metálica, el driver de corriente constante y los tubos LED.
Tanto la carcasa como el difusor tienen características de resistencia a los rayos UV
y a la inflamabilidad.
La estanqueidad de las luminarias se realiza mediante una junta continua de
poliuretano que se mantiene cerrada gracias a 8 o 10 clips de inox, 2 de los cuales se
bloquean en posición cerrada mediante tornillos en diagonal opuesta.
La envolvente de la luminaria permite hasta 4 entradas de cables para el montaje de
prensaestopas o enchufes, ambos, métricos y con certificación Ex.
La conexión eléctrica puede realizarse en el interior de la luminaria a través de los
terminales push-in de 3x2,5 mm

la luminaria puede suministrarse con dos prensaestopas y cableado pasante (LV) para

La luminaria ACQUEx LED-T8 puede suministrarse con diferentes versiones de
longitud y lúmenes. La codificación del producto se describe a continuación:

USO PREVISTO
Las luminarias ACQUEx LED-T8 están diseñadas para su uso en atmósferas
potencialmente explosivas en instalaciones industriales y áreas clasificadas como zona 2
o zona 22, en un ambiente en el que sea poco probable la formación de atmósferas
explosivas debidas a gases, vapores, nieblas o polvo en suspensión y en el que, con
arreglo a toda probabilidad, su formación sea infrecuente y su presencia sea de corta
duración.
Los dispositivos de alumbrado deberán ser adecuados para las condiciones ambientales
de la instalación ala que están destinados y deberán instalarse en elinterior o en el exterior
bajo cubierta.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Antes derealizar cualquiertrabajo relacionado con el equipo,deben leerse detenidamente
las disposiciones de este manual.
Las normas de diseño e instalación, así como las buenas prácticas de ingeniería y la
legislación local vigente deben seguirse durante la selección de la luminaria para una
aplicación determinada, durante la instalación y durante el funcionamiento.
Deben observarse las normas deseguridad de este tipo de equipos y seguir las directrices
del manual, ya que es una condición para reclamar la garantía.
No trabaje nunca cuando haya tensión en la luminaria.

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN
Las luminarias ACQUEx LED-T8 están diseñadas para proporcionar iluminación en un
área específica y deben ser instaladas únicamente por personal debidamente formado,
cualificado, autorizado y de acuerdo con los requisitos de las normas vigentes,
específicamente la norma EN 60079-14.
Antes de la instalación, asegúrese de que la información especificada en la etiqueta de
marcado de la luminaria es adecuada para la aplicación prevista. En particular en el nivel
de protección del equipo, la protección contra la penetración, el grupo de gas y polvo, la
temperatura ambiente y la clase de temperatura.
No debe superarse la temperatura ambientemáxima (Ta) de las luminarias ACQUEx LED-
T8, indicada en este manual y/o en la declaración de conformidad UE.
Las luminarias ACQUEx LED-T8 deben instalarse lejos de zonas con corrientes de aire
para evitar la acumulación de cargas electrostáticas.
Las luminarias ACQUEX LED-T8 pueden fijarse al techo o a la superficie de la pared
utilizando accesorios compatibles. Es responsabilidad del instalador comprobar si el
sistema de soporte y fijación seleccionado es compatible con la aplicación. Encontrará
más información al final del manual.
CONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA
La conexión eléctrica a la luminaria ACQUEx LED-T8 debe realizarse en los
terminales de entrada push-in de laficha deconexión dentro de la luminaria siguiendo
las instrucciones incluidas en la misma ficha. La conexión debe realizarse mediante
cable de cobre unipolar o multifilar terminado en férula de 2,5mm
2
de sección.
Información importante relativa a los auxiliares eléctricos
Las interferencias en el conductor neutro en un sistema trifásico pueden provocar
daños por sobretensión en la instalación de alumbrado. Abra el borne de desconexión
del conductor neutro sólo cuando esté desconectado de la red eléctrica y ciérrelo
antes de volver a conectarlo.

Utilice cables de red para las entradas de control de balastos electrónicos regulables
(DALI, etc.).
En el caso de las versiones ET o ET+LV, una vez conectada a una fuente de
alimentación activa, la luminaria se encenderá automáticamente.
En el caso de las versiones ETDD o ETDD+LV, una vez conectada a una fuente activa
de alimentación, la regulación del flujo luminoso se controla mediante el protocolo de
comunicación DALI.
ENTRADAS DE CABLE
ACQUEX LED-T8 se suministra con una o varias entradas M20 o M25. Antes de
conectar la línea de alimentación, asegúrese de que cada entrada está debidamente
equipada con un prensaestopas o un enchufe, ambos con certificado Ex.
ADVERTENCIA- Los enchufes de transporte temporales noson enchufes certificados
Ex y deben retirarse y sustituirse por entradas adecuadas antes de su uso.
MANTENIMIENTO Y FUNCIONAMIENTO
El mantenimiento de ACQUEx LED-T8 debe ser realizado por personas autorizadas y
cualificadas de acuerdo con los requisitos de las normas vigentes, concretamente la
norma EN 60079-17.
Debido al riesgo electrostático potencial, las luminarias ACQUEx LED-T8 deben
limpiarse periódicamente utilizando únicamente un paño húmedo para evitar la
formación de una capa de polvo.
Cualquier trabajo de mantenimiento en el interior de la luminaria, a excepción de la
sustitución de los tubos LED, no está permitido y sólo puede ser realizado por el
fabricante.

comprobarse considerando la potencia máxima de la luminaria, tal como
se indica en la tabla de temperatura ambiente máxima.

TRANSPORTE Y ALMACENAMIENTO
El almacenamiento y transporte de las luminarias ACQUEx LED-T8 debe realizarse
en sus cajas originales, en lugares cerrados, libres de humedad y alejados de
cualquier fuente de calor o luz. No está permitido almacenar las luminarias en un
espacio abierto, aunque las cajas estén protegidas con láminas de plástico o sistemas
similares.
Las luminarias ACQUEx LED-T8 deben almacenarse horizontalmente en lugares
cerrados a una temperatura no inferior a -5°C y no superior a +40°C, lejos de
calefactores.
RECICLAJE Y ELIMINACIÓN
El símbolo de un contenedor de residuos tachado que aparece en el
producto indica que está sujeto a las disposiciones de la Directiva
Europea 2012/19/UE (RAEE).
Para obtener información más detallada sobre el reciclaje de
productos, póngase en contacto con el fabricante, con una unidad
gubernamental local o con los servicios de gestión de residuos.
CONDICIÓN ESPECIAL PARA UN USO SEGURO
Las luminarias ACQUEx LED-T8 están diseñadas para su instalación permanente.
Las luminarias ACQUEx LED-T8 deben instalarse lejos de zonas con flujo de aire para
evitar la acumulación de cargas electrostáticas.
Las luminarias ACQUEx LED-T8 deben limpiarse periódicamente con un paño
húmedo para evitar la acumulación de polvo y el riesgo de choque eléctrico.
Las luminarias ACQUEx LED-T8 sólo deben emplearse con una fuente de
alimentaciónque tengauna corriente de cortocircuito prospectiva nosuperior a 1500A.
Las luminarias ACQUEx LED-T8 deben utilizarse dentro delrango de Ta especificado
en este manual.
Cuando se instalen prensaestopas metálicos y la instalaciónrequiera puesta una tierra
del equipo, se debe utilizar una arandela de puesta a tierra específica para conectar
los prensaestopas. Todas las entradas de cables deberán estar orientadas en la parte
inferior o lateral de las luminarias cuando estén instaladas.
Cuando se utilicen terminales o cableado pasante interno para realizar una conexión
en bucle o pasante en la línea de alimentación, la línea deberá protegerse para limitar
la corriente a un máximo de 10 A.
