Carbon monoxide (CO) is a highly toxic, colourless and odourless gas that easily spreads in the air. Carbon
monoxide is a product of incomplete combustion of certain fuel types, including: wood, furnace oil, earth gas,
petrol, kerosene, propane gas, coal, or petroleum. Carbon monoxide is colourless and odourless; it is then
critical to provide early detection and warning of hazardous CO concentration in inhabited rooms.
FEATURES:
• Tested in Poland in a dedicated test chamber: features an additional Certicate of Performance in 300
ppm detection in less than 3 minutes of exposure
• Carbon monoxide detection levels (ref. standard: PN-EN50291-1:2010+A1:2012: 50 ppm (in up to 90
minutes); 100 ppm (in up to 40 minutes); 300 ppm (in up to 3 minutes)
• Electrochemical sensor (10 years of service life)
• LCD with actual CO
concentration readings
and user messages
• Battery-operated
• Low battery indicator
• Detector failure indicator
(self-diagnostic system)
• Past CO detection
event memory
Power supply: 3 x 1.5 V batteries, type AA; IP20

Do not dispose of this device with other waste! In order to
avoid harmful effects on the environment and human health,
the used device should be stored in designated areas. For
this purpose, you can dispose of household waste free of
charge and in any quantity to a collection point set up, as
well as to the shop when you buy new equipment.

It is recommended that the device is installed by
a qualied individual
The present device has been designed to protect
people against severe outcomes of exposure
to carbon oxide. However, it is not able to fully
protect persons with special health problems. If
in doubt, consult a physician.
Read the User Manual inside the packaging
before installing the detector.
Keep the product in a dry place away from
sunlight. Protect
the detector
from damage in
transport and
while handling;
damage may
reduce the service
life.
Do not use the
detector if any
damage is evident.

1. INSTALLATION
• It is recommended that the device is installed by a qualied individual.
• Keep the product in a dry place away from sunlight. Protect the detector from damage in transport and while handling; damage may
reduce the service life. Do not use the detector if any damage is evident. It is recommended to have the product installed by a qualied
professional.
• Install the detector near locations extremely exposed to carbon monoxide concentrations developing from combustion of fuel, e.g. earth
gas, wood, or coal. To prevent false detection alarms, install the CO detector at least 2 m from all potential carbon monoxide emission
sources.
• Install the CO detector approx. 150 cm above the oor.
• To ensure optimum protection against CO hazards, install CO detectors in all rooms of prolonged inhabitation, especially bedrooms. Install
at least one CO detector per storey in multistorey buildings.
• Do not install CO detectors in ‘dead spaces’ (e.g. in recesses closed off by pieces of furniture or curtains, underneath the roof gable, etc.)
and wherever the detection performance will be reduced by currents of fresh air (e.g. near doors, windows, ventilation diffusers or air
fans). Do not install CO detectors in locations highly exposed to airborne dust, aerosols or household chemical which may cause irrepara-
ble failure of the detector.

While an installed CO detector greatly improves indoor habitation safety, they are not 100% reliable in CO detection due
to the risks of detector failure, battery depletion and ambient effects. It is critical to periodically test the performance of
CO detectors (which is specied in this User Manual) and home heating equipment (including stoves, heaters, etc.) and
inspect all ventilation and ue gas exhaust systems for obstruction in the rooms monitored by CO detectors to minimise CO
concentrations that are hazardous to health and life.
Read the User Manual inside the packaging before installing the detector.
