Physical Overview

Infrared LEDs: Infrared LEDs for night use up to 10m working distance.
Reset: When the device is powered, press the Reset Button to reboot the device, or hold the Reset
Button for 5 seconds to set the settings back to factory default.

Install the Hardware and Connect All Cables
Wall mounting
1. Use the supplied screws to fix the base plate to a flat surface.
2. Loosen the screws on the bracket to aim the viewing area.
3. Tighten the screws at the two joint of the bracket.
Note on installation location
If you plan to install the IP camera outdoors, we recommend you set up the camera in an area where it
will be blocked from direct sunlight and rain.
Cable connection:
With Power over Ethernet
Using standard RJ-45 network cable, connect the IP camera to a PoE-enabled Hub/Switch /
Router.
Without Power over Ethernet
Connect the 12V power adaptor to the IP Camera.
Using a standard RJ45 network cable, connect the IP camera to a normal Hub / Switch / Router.

Adding Your Camera
1. Connect IP Camera to a network router via network cable.

2. Power on IP camera.
Please also ensure your router’s DHCP is activated.
3. Visit the hosting URL of your service provider given when you purchased your camera.
4. If you do not have an account, click on “Create Account”.
5. After filling out the form, click “Apply”. An email confirmation will be sent to your email address.
6. Login with account and password.

7. If no cameras have been added, you will be prompted to add a camera. Otherwise, click “Settings” at
the bottom of the page.
8. Clicking will pop up a reminder to ensure the IP camera you are going to bind has already been
connected to the network properly. Then follow the binding method via browser by filling the MAC
address and activation code of the camera.

9. A table will then display for filling in the IP camera’s MAC address and activation code after clicking
“Next”. Click “Apply” when finished providing required information. Cameras can also be added by
using the Smart phone APP provided by your service provider.
10. “Success” shows when finished adding properly. The IP camera is now displayed on the setting table.
11. Clicking “Config” button will lead to a “Modify” page which listed each device’s registration
information where users can alter its device name for easy recognition.
12. Sharing your Camera. Clicking the “Share” button . In the “Share” field, type in the user account
name that the camera will be shared with. If the individual you are sharing the camera with does not
already have an account, they can create one on the home page.

Clicking on the “Share” button at the bottom of the screen will show all cameras that belong to other
accounts that are shared with your account.
13. Watching your Cameras
Click the “Matrix” at the bottom of the page and you will view the cameras in RTSP streaming.

Basic Functions
Tool Bar
The tool bar is located in the upper right hand side of each IP cam view for easy
management.
1. Lights Indicators
Green Light
The green light means the IP camera is online and streaming video, therefore its video is
successfully displayed on the screen.
Yellow Light
The yellow light means the IP camera is online but not yet streaming video, therefore, its
video is not displayed on the screen.
Red Light
The red light means the IP camera is offline, therefore, the screen is blank.
2. Full Screen
The Full screen button is to lead you to a new screen layer where the video is displayed in full
screen for larger image and event play back function.
Control buttons
When viewing video in full screen, function buttons are located on
the lower right hand side of the screen.
By clicking the button, it will take you to the matrix view page. Or you can click on the
button located on the top right hand side of the screen to exit the full screen function
and back to the matrix view as well.
Clicking the button allows you to take a snapshot from the camera you are currently
monitoring. You can name the snapshot file and select the directory to store it at your
preference.

You may also choose to mute the camera by clicking the button.
When the video does not display well, you can click to reload the media again. You
can access the camera’s control UI by clicking the button.
The “camera list” with the arrow buttons and is displayed on the left-hand side of
the screen for selecting other IP cameras to view.
Live View and PTZ
The “Live view” button is used to view the selected camera in a larger view than matrix
view. You may also select to view a different camera’s video from the “camera list”
displayed on the left-hand side of the screen. Click the arrow buttons and to select
more IP cameras from the list.
When the selected IP camera supports PTZ function, its PTZ control panel will be
displayed for you to manage camera angles on the bottom-right side of the screen.
Otherwise, the panel will be displayed in grey to indicate it is not functioning. Each angle
adjustment requires one click to make. Clicking takes you back to the original setting
position, while is to zoom in, and is to zoom out.
Playback
“Playback” function can playback continuous recording from the cloud and event
recording from the cloud pending on your sales package. Continuous recording is
indicated by the top red line, event recording in the cloud indicated by the orange tabs
along the red line.
You may view the timeline in different timeline length: by clicking hour, day, or week,
located on the top left-hand side of the timeline. By default, the timeline length is by
week.
You can click anywhere on the red bar and press the play button. While playing back the
selected media clip, you may also manage it to be stopped, paused, move one clip
forward or backward from the media control panel. Or, you may also drag the progress
bar cursor to the specific playing point at your preference.

The detailed recording clips will be displayed when you mouse over the orange tags.
You can select the specific clip to review.
3. Settings
The settings button will take you to that specific IP camera’s web user interface.
4. Mute
The mute or un-mute buttons are used to control whether the users would like to hear the
audio via the camera or not.
5. Refresh
The refresh button is for you to refresh or reload the IP camera’s video. To setup wireless
and adjust camera settings, click the settings button .
Direct Access to Camera
To set your wireless settings, set your date and time, and to access SD card recording (if applicable) it is
necessary to log in directly to the camera. Click the “Settings” icon for the camera.
1. Enter the default Username and Password to access the IP
Camera:
Username: user
Password: camera

Wireless Settings
After logging into the camera user interface using the user login click on Basic Setting, and then go to the
WLAN section on the right. Make sure WLAN is enabled and select the appropriate SSID for your network.
Important Note:
1. Please plug in the antenna inside the box
2. You need to set the WLAN while your network cable is plugged in.
3. After you set the WLAN setting and a pop-up window says “Savings Applied Successfully”, please
unplug the network and power cable first. Then plug the power cable back to do a HW reset so
WLAN can be functional.
Local Event Backup
If SD card is inserted, you can view and download event video from the SD card in the “Local Event
Backup” section. These video recordings are saved in the SD card locally so even if internet connection
is lost, the recordings will still be at the SD card. Please follow the steps below to view or download your
local event video.
