BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove protective rubberjams before
usingthescale.

TO REPLACE BATTERY
Remove battery compartment cover and
attach new battery onto the 9-volt battery
snaps.
TO OPERATE SCALE
1. Placebowl(if used)onthescalebefore
turningontheunit.
2. PressandreleaseON/OFF buttontoturn
ontheunit.
3. Waituntildisplay prompts to '0'before
startingweighing.

TO CONVERT WEIGHT UNITS
If the scale is with both measuring systemof
Metric (kilograms,grams) and Imperial (pounds,
ounces), you can press UNIT to convert between
twosystemsduringthecourseofweighing.
"ZERO" or 'TARE" function
Toweighdifferentloadsconsecutivelywithoutremovingloadsfromthescale.
Put first load on the scale, get weight reading. Press Z/T button to reset
the LCD reading to '0' before adding next load.
Condition 1: When total sum of all loads
on scale ≤4% of scale's max capacity.
(4%=80g when capacity is 2kg;
200g when capacity is 5kg)
LCD will show '0g' each time Z/T is pressed.
Icon '0'willshowonleft lowercornerofLCD,
indicating'ZERO' functionisactive.
Max.weightcapacityremainsunchanged.
Condition 2: When total sum of all loads
on scale > 4% of scale's max capacity.

200g when capacity is 5kg)

of all loads on the scale. If you want to weigh
more loads, just press Z/T to reset LCD
readingto'0'again.

CLEANING AND CARE
1. Cleanthescalewithaslightlydampcloth.DO NOTimmersethescaleinwater or
usechemical/abrasivecleaningagents.
2. Allplasticpartsshould becleanedimmediatelyaftercontact withfats,spices,
vinegar and strongly flavored/colored foods. Avoidcontact with acidscitrusjuices.
3. Alwaysusethe scaleonahard, flat surface.DO NOTuse oncarpet.
Even the batteries must be disposed of in compliance with environmental
regulations in force, at a collection center authorized, or deposited in the
containers at the store where it was purchased. Batteries should be removed from
the device before its disposal. Do not dispose of batteries in household waste or
damaged so as not to harm the environment
Batteries must not be exposed to heat sources such as heat , sun or similar
sources ;
Remove batteries if they start to heat up or you know you do not use the unit for
a long period
- The batteries must be installed correctly into the battery compartment ;
- When you remove the battery because at the end of life or damaged Dispose
of batteries according to national regulations and below.
- In case of loss of battery fluid, remove all batteries , preventing any leakage
from coming into contact with skin or clothing. If fluid from the battery comes
into contact with skin or clothing, wash the skin with water immediately. Before
inserting new batteries , thoroughly clean the battery compartment with a damp
paper towel , or follow the battery manufacturer's recommendations for
cleaning.
●Danger of explosion if battery is replaced by a type
incorrect . Use only batteries and replace with the same size and type.
Improper use of batteries may cause leakage, overheating or esplosione.Tale
fluid is corrosive and may be toxic. May cause chemical burns to skin and eyes
, and is harmful to ingest .

●Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
●Do not heat , open, puncture , mutilate, or dispose of batteries in fire.
●Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types
