801350 / 801351 - 0.2 Micron Filter Kit
Step 1 - Fit filter head to wall of cupboard
The filter head should be mounted on a cupboard panel that allows ready access for future filter replacement with a
minimum of 300 mm unobstructed clearance under the filter head. (See Fig.1 and Fig.3). Use two of the screws provided
to mount the filter head bracket to the cupboard wall. (See Fig.2)

Before starting: Determine suitable location for filter taking into account:
• Distance to mains water supply.
• Distance to appliance.
• Clearance below filter head of at least 300 mm.
• Accessibility for future filter changes.

Step 2 - Connection to mains water supply
Connect supply line as shown in Fig.4.
Cut the white tube to length to fit between the inlet assembly and filter head. However, before connecting the tube into
the filter head, flush approximately 2L of water to waste.
Step 3 - Connection to filter inlet
Fit other end of tube to filter inlet as shown in Fig.6.

Insertion and removal details for JG fittings using plastic tubing. (See Fig.5)
Cut the tube squarely with a sharp knife or tube cutter.
Shake out and remove any swarf or debris.
Note: the direction arrows on the filter head
instructions on how to connect JG tubing and
fittings.

Step 5 - Connect to the ChillTap
Connect the clear hose from the ChillTap to the outlet of the filter head.
Connect the blue hose to the outlet of the undersink unit.
Connect the red hose to the inlet of the undersink unit
Every time the filter cartridge is replaced repeat the filter flush for 10L
to flush and purge the filter cartridge.
Dispose of all packaging wisely!

Step 4 - Cartridge insertion and removal
Write today’s date on the filter cartridge in the space provide on the label and then fit the filter into the head.
Take care to align the IN/OUT arrow on the filter with the arrow on the head. Push the filter up into the head and rotate to
the right until the LOCK arrow aligns with the filter head arrow.
Before conecting the filter to the tap or chiller unit, ensure approximatly 10Lof water is flushed through the filter to waste.
Turn off water supply.
NOTE: during flushing, some black particles may be dispensed. This is completely normal.

PRECAUTIONS
For safe operation, please read and follow the instructions provided on the filter cartridge label. The filter cartridge should
be replaced at least every 12 months, or sooner at the rated capacity, or if you notice:
A. a persistent reduction in water pressure from the product, or;
B. an unpleasant taste or odour in the water.
Not changing cartridges when required may cause the water to become biologically unsafe.
All plumbing connections must be made in accordance with AS3500 and local Water Authority by-laws. This appliance
incorporates backflow protection complying with AS3500.1. No further backflow protection is required for connection to
the water supply. Operating pressures are listed on the filter cartridge label.
