OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
This operation and maintenance manual is an integral part of the P4000 Printer and
L300 Post-Curing Lamp and must be kept in a place known to the operator, easily and immediately
accessible at all times. The P4000 Printer and the L300 Post-Curing Lamp may only be operated
by fully trained people.
For reasons of readability, the P4000 Printer and the L300 Post-Curing Lamp are also designated
as "printer" and "post-curing lamp". In addition, the generic masculine is used to refer to users of
all genders.
This operation and maintenance manual contains all the information required for the safe use of
the P4000 Printer and the L300 Post-Curing Lamp supplied by Zirkonzahn srl. However, it is not
intended to replace a training course with regard to the scope of application.
Participation in a dedicated training course offered by Zirkonzahn is recommended. Operational
capability and long-term value of the P4000 Printer and the L300 Post-Curing Lamp can only be
guaranteed if service and maintenance work prescribed in this manual are carried out.
This manual is subject to amendments at Zirkonzahn's sole discretion in the event of technical
further development.
This operation and maintenance manual is a translation of the original German version. An updated

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE P4000 PRINTER
The P4000 Printer is part of Zirkonzahn's 3D printing system, which includes the printer,
the L300 Post-Curing Lamp, the Zirkonzahn.Slicer software and the Printer Resin Waterbased Beige.

The P4000 printer is a space-saving LCD printer equipped with a touch screen with intuitive
user interface as well as USB, WiFi and LAN connections for stand-alone operations. The large

full-arch bridges, depending on the structure and size. The resin vat is provided with state-of-the-

in combination with the LED panel, enables a distortion-free manufacture of dental objects in
a short time.
The system also includes the L300 Post-Curing Lamp equipped with a turntable for uniform
curing results as well as the Zirkonzahn.Slicer software with pre-set parameters to generate
supports for the different types of dental objects. The 3D printer is open-system but works
ideally in combination with the Printer Resin Waterbased Beige resin.
Functional description of the P4000 Printer
The P4000 Printer works with LCD technology and gives the user the option to pre-heat the
printing chamber. The machine's wide printing volume permits the simultaneous printing

The P4000 Printer is designed for processing resins with a wave length of 405 nm.

parameters intended for use with the 3D resins by Zirkonzahn (for example, the Printer Resin
Waterbased Beige resin). If resins from other manufacturers are used, the user has to set
parameters for each processing step according to the resin used.

The use of the P4000 Printer requires a basic technical knowledge. Participation in a dedicated
training course offered by Zirkonzahn is recommended.
Zirkonzahn assumes no liability for any damage to health caused by possible vapours exposure in
connection with the P4000 Printer. The printer must be used with the front door closed.
Direct contact with moving parts is excluded if the printer is used correctly.
Use the printer in ventilated areas.

Uses that are not described in the paragraph "Intended use" do not fall within the scope of
intended use. The distributor declines any responsibility for this.
Please pay particular attention to the following unintended and unauthorised uses:
- The P4000 Printer is not designed for operation in an explosive atmosphere and must not be
used in explosion-endangered areas.
- Do not use the device in areas with direct exposure to sunlight.

SAFETY GUIDE
- The printer is not equipped with light alert system. Keep the front door closed during
machine operation!
- Keep resin away from direct sunlight exposure and dispose of it according to local regulations
(for Zirkonzahn's resins disposal, separate instructions are available and can be requested
at Zirkonzahn).
- Wear the necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Stop using UV resin in case of skin allergies.
