Zooper Bolero BU806A User manual

Do not fold your stroller when wet.
Machine wash removable seat and armrest covers using gentle cycle,
cold water, and a mild detergent. The canopy can only be spot washed.
Line dry fabric parts.
Never use bleach when washing.
Do not leave your stroller in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
Clean and lubricate all moving parts on the stroller frame and wheels
as needed. Use only a penetrating silicon based lubricant.
Regularly check for loose screws, broken parts, etc. Us e on ly Z oo pe r

Wipe off any sand, salt or other corrosive residue after each use where the stroller
may be exposed to those elements.

Always engage the rear brakes when not holding onto your stroller.
Never leave your child unattended.
Never use the stroller near an open fire or exposed flame.
Never allow the stroller to be used as a toy.
Never allow more than one child at a time in the stroller.
Never hang bags or other items from the handle or on the canopy. Thi s ma y
cause the stroller to become unstable.
Never use the stroller on stairs or escalators.
Do not overload the basket. Maximum load is 7 lbs. Excessive weight may cause
a hazardous unstable condition to exist.
Do not overload the canopy pocket: Maximum load is 2 lbs. Excessive weight
may create a hazardous unstable condition to exist.
Before each use, ch ec k to m ake sure the stroller is set up properly and that all the
wheels are properly and securely attached.
This stroller is not recommended for use with a child over 55 lbs.
This stroller is designed as a walking stroller. We do not recommend running,
roller blading, or other such activities with this stroller.
This stroller is a single stroller do not use any attachments that allow for a second
child.
It may be unsafe to use accessories other than those approved by the
manufacturer or distributor.
To op en t he s tr ol le r, first lift up on the black colored
frame lock located on the right side of the stroller,
(Fig. 1) . Be s ur e th e fr am e lo ck d et ac he s fr om t he m et al
locking pin. Then pull up on the main stroller handle
while pushing down with your foot on the plastic tab
located between the wheels (Fig.2 )U si ng y ou r ha nd,
push down on the front edge of the seat to ensure the
stroller frame has locked properly in the open position.
Do not push down on the front armrest bar.
WAR NIN G: Be sure children are at a safe
distance and cannot reach moving parts whenever
opening or closing the stroller.

ATTACHING THE FRONT WHEELS
TO THE FRAME
Press each wheel block firmly onto the metallic tube
ends until they "click" into position (Fig. 3) . Ch ec k to s ee
they have been properly installed by pulling down on
the wheel block. To remove the front wheels, p us h th e
metal lock located just above the plastic housing and
then pull the housing off the metal tubes.

THE FRAME
Insert both plastic rear wheel housings onto the rear
leg tubes of the stroller (Fig. 4) . Ma ke sure the brake
levers are facing out, away from the stroller. Then push
in each locking spring located on the rear stroller
tubes. Ho ld in g th e lo ck in g pi n in, slide each wheel
block over the pin until it locks into place and the silver
head of the locking pin can be seen protruding from
the wheel housing (Fig. 5) .
To re mo ve t he r ea r wh ee l as se mb ly, push in on the
locking pins while pulling down on each wheel block.
WAR NIN G: Do not use the stroller if the brake
levers are not facing away from the stroller and if the
locking pins are not visible as described above.

ADJUSTING THE SEATBACK

located in the middle of the seatback. While holding
the lever up, m ov e th e se at ba ck d ow n in to d es ir ed
position and then release the lever (Fig. 6) . To raise the
backrest, push up on the back of the seat until it clicks
into the desired position.
WAR NIN G: Always ke ep y ou r ch il d in s ig ht
when making these kinds of adjustments. C he ck t he
fitting of the safety harness each time the backrest is
adjusted to be sure a snug, yet comfortable fitting is
maintained.
USING THE BRAKES
To se t th e br akes step down on both left and right rear
wheel brake levers. Push forw ar d sl ig ht ly t o en su re b ot h
brakes have engaged. To release the brakes p us h th e
brake levers back inward toward the stroller so that
they are parallel with the rear leg tubes.( Fig.7)

whenever not holding onto the stroller. Never leave

ATTACHING THE FRONT BAR TO THE
ARMRESTS
To at ta ch t he f ro nt a rm re st t o th e st ro ll er s ea t, li ne u p
the inserts of the armrest bar with the two plastic slots on
both sides of the stroller. Slide the inserts completely
into these slots, m ak in g su re t ha t bo th s id es s ec ur e in to
a locked position. Pull out on each side of the armrest
to make sure that the armrest is properly locke d in to t he
slots. Th e ar mr es t sh ou ld n ot r el ea se f ro m th e sl ot s. To
remove the armrest, locate the plastic tabs underneath
where the armrest connects to the sides of the stroller.
Press in the tabs while pulling up on the armrest.
WAR NIN G: Never pick the stroller up by the
front armrest.To a vo id s er io us i nj ur y, ensure that
children's hands, a rm s an d fe et a re w el l cl ea r of t he
bumper bar before opening or closing it.

ENCLOSING THE SEAT WHEN THE
BACKREST IS FULLY RECLINED
The seating area must be fully enclosed whenever the
seat is in a fully reclined position. To do so, ro ta te t he
footrest back so that it is parallel with the side armrests.
Then zip both sides of the footrest to the zipper track on
the sides of the seat. (Fig. 9)
WAR NIN G: Your child may slip into leg
openings and strangle. Ne ve r us e th e st ro ll er w it h th e
backrest fully reclined unless this seat area is fully
enclosed.

ATTACHING THE CANOPY
To at ta ch t he c an op y, insert the plastic shafts into the
plastic slots located on the outside of the main stroller
tubes (Fig 10). They are inserted from the bottom up.
Lift up to check that each side is locked into position.
Open the canopy by pushing down on the plastic side
canopy braces. Be s ur e to s na p th e ca no py t o
the seat and backrest fabric whenever the seat is fully
reclined. Ret ra ct t he c an op y by f ir st p ul li ng u p on t he
side braces, th en p us hi ng t he c an op y ho od b ac k.
The canopy can be converted to allow more air flow
through the stroller. Unzip thelower half of the canopy
from the upper half. This will leave a mesh cover that
can snap to the back of the seat. To r em ov e th e
canopy, fi rs t un do t he s na ps. Then pull the release tabs
outward and slide the canopy down, off the slots.
WAR NIN G: The rear panel of the canopy must
be snapped onto the seat whenever the seat is fully
reclined.

SAFETY HARNESS
Zooper provides a special 5-point harness safety system.
Used properly, thi s ha rn es s wi ll keep your child seated
and safe. To secure your child in the harness, push
buckles (A) and (B) into the buckle housing (C) until the
buckle prongs snap into position. Carefully adjust slider
(D) to fit snugly and comfortably around your child see
(Fig 11).Fo ll ow t he s am e pr oc ed ur e to a dj us t th e
shoulder straps. Al wa ys r e-tighten the harness when your
child is in a sit up or lay back position.
SECURING AN INFANT CARRIER (JUST
FOR SL806A)
To in st al l an i nf an t ca rr ie r, first be sure that the infant
carrier is not attached to its permanent car base.
Loc at e th e ca r se at a da pt er s tr ap t ha t wa s pa ckaged
with your stroller. It should have a buckle in the center,
and a clip on each end. Next, identify the D-rings
located in the hip points of the stroller seat. Ensure that
infant seat has been removed from its permanent car
base.
Step 1: Recline the stroller seat to the 3rd or 4th position.
Step 2: Attach the car seat adapter strap to the stroller
seat by clipping the ends to the D -r in gs. Adjust
the strap so that it is fully extended. Unbuckle the
Center, and lay the ends out over the armrests
of the stroller seat.
Step 3: Place the infant seat into the stroller seat, so that
the infant seat is facing the parent. Depending
on the size and design of your seat, you will either
place it inside the bumper bar, or over the
bumper bar.
Step 4: Bring the ends of the adapter strap back over the
infant seat, and buckle the center. The belt
should be positioned so that it travels over the
lap of the infant seat. Some models have belt
guides located on the sides, if y ou r mo de l do es ;
make sure the strap is positioned inside these
guides.
Step 5: Tighten the strap down so that infant seat is
securely fixed into the stroller seat. Infant seat
should not lift out of the stroller seat if properly
Strapped in.
WAR NIN G: Only the following infant car seat
models are compatible with this stroller: Graco Snugride,
Graco Safeseat, Britax Companion, and Evenflo On My
Way

FOLDING THE STROLLER
Each time, be fo re c lo si ng y ou r st ro ll er, check the
following:
Set the stroller brakes
Retract the canopy
Move the seatback into the upright position
Make sure there is nothing in the shopping basket
Push in on the main frame lock button located in the
middle of the stroller handle.
Push the handle down in the middle until it stops in a
“V” shape.
Pull up on the base frame handle located at the top
of the cross bars which connect both rear leg tubes.
Pull this handle up toward you until the stroller fully
Closes and the right side auto frame lock engages.
