Never use the stroller near an open fire or exposed flame.
Never allow the stroller to be used as a toy.
Never allow more than one child at a time in the stroller.
Never hang bags or other items from the handle or on the canopy. Thi s ma y

Never use the stroller on stairs or escalators.

Before each use, ch ec k to m ake sure the stroller is set up properly and that all the
wheels are properly and securely attached.
This stroller is not recommended for use with a child over 55 lbs.
This stroller is designed as a walking stroller. We do not recommend running,
roller blading, o r ot he r su ch a ct iv it ie s wi th t hi s st ro ll er.
This stroller is a single stroller do not use any attachments that allow for a second
child.
It may be unsafe to use accessories other than those approved by the
manufacturer or distributor.
We re co mm en d yo u ch oo se a g oo d fl oo r su rface. Yo ur
Zooper has a strong metal frame that could scratch
hardwood floors or other sensitive sur fa ce s. To o pe n th e
stroller, fi rs t li ft u p on t he r ed c ol or ed f ra me l oc k lo ca te d
on the left side of the stroller,( Fi g. 1). Be sure the frame
lock detaches from the metal locking pin. G ra sp t he
handle and pull back and up so that the stroller frame
opens (Fi g. 2 ). S te p do wn o n th e fo ot b lo ck w hi le p ul li ng
back on the handle so that the frame snaps open (Fi g. 3 ).

distance and cannot reach moving parts whenever
opening or closing the stroller.Al wa ys m ak e su re t he
stroller has opened fully by checking to see that the
metal bars connecting the foot block to the frame are
straight and parallel to the ground.

REAR WHEE LS

rear leg tube (Fi g 4) . Th e br ak e le ve rs m us t be f ac in g ou t,
away from the stroller. Lo ca te t he s pr in g lo ck b ut to ns o n
the outside of the rear leg tubes. Ma ke sure the buttons
are coming out of the buttonholes and have not slipped
inside the tube during shipping. If y ou a re m is si ng a
spring lock, pl ea se c on ta ct t he a pp ro pr ia te s er vice
center listed at the back of these instructions for
replacement parts. Push the rear wheel block onto the
rear frame leg until it clicks onto the spring lock button.
Then repeat for the other wheel block. Ch ec k vi su al ly
that the buttons have popped out of the small holes on
the outside of the wheel assembly. Pull out on each
wheel block to make s ur e th at i t ha s lo ck ed i nt o pl ac e.
SECURIN G INFA NT CARR IER
It is possible your infant carrier will NOT b e co mp at ib le
with this stroller. Th er ef or e, for first- ti me i ns ta ll at io n,
evaluate according to these directions without your
child in the carrier. To install the infant carrier, fir st b e su re
it has been removed from the car seat base. T he n
remove the armrest of the stroller and insert the thin
adaptor bar just as you would the armrest (Fi g. 1 4) .
Rec li ne t he b ac kr es t ab ou t 3/ 4 of t he w ay d ow n en ou gh
so that your carrier will fit level onto the stroller seat.
Place the carrier onto the stroller so that the mounting
notch of the infant carrier fits onto the adaptor bar,
(Fi g. 15 ), a nd t he f ro nt o f th e ca rr ie r re st s on t he b ac kr es t.
(If the mounting notch of your carrier is too small to fit
onto the adaptor bar, th en p os it io n th e en ti re c ar ri er
between the adaptor bar, or ar mr es t, an d th e ba ck re st.
As long as it fits level onto the seat and can be secured
as described below, th en i t is s ti ll c om pa ti bl e wi th t he
stroller). The restraint safety strap attaches to the two
metal D shaped rings on either side of the seat belt.
Place the restraint safety strap through the provid ed
spaces on each side of the car seat (auto seatbelt
path), or over the top of the carrier if your model does
not have that opening. No w ad ju st t he s tr ap t o ti gh tl y
secure the carrier to the stroller. Th e ti gh te r th at y ou s et
this strap will directly affect how secure the car seat
feels in the stroller. A wel l- ti gh te ne d st ra p wi ll b e ea si ly
demonstrated by lifting the entire stroller and car seat as
one solid unit, by the bar of the car seat.
WAR NIN G: D o no t us e an i nf an t ca rr ie r if i t do es
not secure to the stroller as described above. An y
infant carriers rated for weights over 20 lbs are also not
compatible with this stroller. Exc es si ve w ei gh t ma y
cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist.
WAR NIN G: O nl y th e fo ll ow in g in fa nt c ar s ea t
models are compatible with this stroller: Graco - Snugride,
Peg Pe re go - V ia gg io, B ri ta x - Co mp an io n.

USING THE BRAKES
To en ga ge t he b ra kes, st ep d ow n on e ac h re ar b ra ke
lever located between the two whee. ( Fig. 11 ). Al wa ys
check that the
brake s ha ve f ul ly e ng ag ed b y pu sh in g fo r wa rd o n th e
stroller to make su re i t st ay s in p la ce. Lift the brake le ve rs
with your foot to release the brake s.

not properly pop out and lock the rear wheels in place.

FRONT WHEEL BLO CKS
Line up each front wheel block with the front leg and push
firmly together (Fi g. 5 ). A lw ay s ch ec k to s ee t ha t th e
wheels have been properly installed by pulling out on the
wheel block. It s ho ul d be l oc ke d to t he f ro nt l eg. To
remove, p us h in o n th e lo op ed m et al r et en ti on c li p
located on the underside of the wheel block, an d pu ll t he
wheel block off.

ARMREST

To op en a rm re st f ro m ei th er e nd, pinch in on the clips as
noted above and swing the armrest out. The entire
armrest can be removed by pulling out both clips.

CANOPY
The canopy may also be used
as a napper canopy. Loc at e th e zi pp er o n th e re ar r ib o f
the canopy. Wh en u nz ip pe d, the canopy will fall forw ar d
over the bumper bar, com pl et el y sh ad in g ba by f ro m th e
world.
The canopy attaches onto the stroller frame above each
side armrest (Fig . 7) . Push firmly to install. O pe n th e
canopy by pushing down on the plastic side canopy
braces. B e su re t o sn ap t he c an op y to t he s id es o f th e
seat and backrest fabric. Retract the canopy by first
pulling up on the side braces then pushing the canopy
hood back. Th e ca no py c an b e co nv er te d to a ll ow m or e
air flow through the stroller.
Unzip the lower half of the canopy from the upper
half. Th is w il l le av e a me sh c ov er t ha t ca n sn ap t o th e
back of the seat. To r em ov e th e ca no py, fi rs t un do t he

the side canopy braces are fully open or with the sun visor
extended. T hi s ma y da ma ge t he c an op y. Whenever
the seatback is in the fully reclined position, m ak e su re
that the canopy snaps or mesh snaps are buttoned onto
the back and sides of the seat fabric. Do n ot o ve rl oa d th e

ADJUSTI NG THE SEATBA CK

the middle of the seatback and move the seatback down

back of the seat until it clicks into the desired position.

SAFETY HARNESS
Zooper provides a special 5-point harness safet y sy st em
on all our strollers. U se d pr op er ly,t hi s ha rn es s wi ll k ee p yo ur
child seated and safe. To se cu re y ou r ch il d in t he h ar ne ss,
push buckles (A) and (B) into the buckle housing (C) until
the buckle prongs snap into position. C ar ef ul ly a dj us t
slider (D) to fit snugly and comfortably around your child
(Fi g. 9 ). Follow the same procedure to adjust the shoulder
straps. A lw ay s re ti gh te n th e ha rn es s wh en y ou r ch il d is i n a
sit up or layback position.

falling or sliding out. Alwaysuse the seat belt. Never leave
your child unattended.

LEG REST
To lo we r th e le g re st, p us h up o n th e le ve r lo ca te d on t he
underside of the seat (Fi g. 10 ). To r ai se, simply push up on
the leg rest.

rest. This may result in injury to your child and/or damage

seated with the safety harness fastened.

SWIVEL WHEE LS
The swivel-locking lever is located on the back of the
front wheel block where it meets the frame (Fig . 12 ).

lock the wheels into a fixed position, pu sh d ow n on t he
locking lever and move the stroller forw ar d. T he w he el s

Then lift leg rest fabric over and off the plastic leg rest

zipped together to the seat fabric and the canopy is
properly snapped onto the seat and backrest.

Never attempt to fold or close your Zooper with your
child inside

step down on the safety lock located on the right side of
the stroller(Fi g 18 ). P us h th e ha nd le s fo rward and collapse
the stroller down into the folded position (Fig 1 9) . Ch ec k to
be sure the red frame lock secures to the locking pin.
