IMPORTANT: If the frame does not power on or you get dark gray screen
please connect frame to the AC adapter and RESET the frame. To reset, use
something pointy to press the RESET button which is inside the small hole right
below the USB port on the frame (see diagram on next page).

We express our sincere thanks for purchasing this Digital Photo Frame (DPF)!
Before operating this DPF, be sure to read this user manual carefully. After
reading it, please keep it in a safe place for future reference.
We reserve the right to make changes to this DPF, Software and/or this User
Manual without notice. Please visit our company’s website listed on the
product packaging for additional product information and/or updates.
NOTE: The pictures, diagrams and certain functions described in this manual
may differ from the actual product due to different models.
PRECAUTIONS
Before operating this DPF, please read the following precautions
carefully: Do not operate this DPF in extremely cold, hot, dusty or damp
environment
Avoid putting this DPF under direct sunlight
Do not scrub this DPF with a hard item; it may result in scratches
on the screen and/or damage to the hardware
Never spray or pour liquid directly onto the screen or plastic
casing. Clean the case, LCD screen and buttons with slightly damp
soft cloth.
To avoid permanent data loss, do not insert or remove memory
card while the power is ON, or remove USB cable while pictures are
being copied to the memory card or built-in memory
Keep this DPF and all accessories out of reach of children.
BUTTONS & INTERFACE
RESET

1. POWER:
Press & Hold this button to turn power ON or OFF
Press & quickly release this button to toggle between Digital Clock,
Analog Clock and Calendar, while displaying clock/calendar
Press this button to pause slide show (from SD card only) – while in slide
show mode
2. LEFT:
Previous Picture (during picture display mode)
Previous Menu option or setting (during menu display and setup modes)
3. RIGHT:
Next Picture (during picture display mode)
Next Menu option or setting (during menu display and setup modes)
4. EXIT:
Press this button to stop existing operation and return to previous
function/ menu
Press this button to enable USB Connect Mode (to transfer pictures),
when the frame is connected to a computer, using USB cable
5. ENTER:
Press this button to accept menu/option selection
Press this button while in USB connect mode to exit from that mode
Press this button while displaying calendar to allow user to change date
and time
Press this button during slide show (from SD card only) to switch to
Thumbnail mode
6. SD/MMC card slot: Supports up to 8GB SD Card
7. USB Host port: Use USB Cable to connect frame to the computer to
download pictures and charge built-in rechargeable battery.
8. Stand: Use the stand to put frame on a tabletop/desk (when not in the
leather case)
9. RESET: Use something pointy to press reset button inside the small hole
below USB port

BASIC MENU FUNCTIONS
The MAIN MENU, as shown below will appear, when the frame power is turned
ON or connected to computer’s USB port or AC Charger:
PHOTO:
Press RIGHT’ or LEFT key to select PHOTO option from the Main
menu and then press ENTER key to confirm the selection
The frame will automatically start SLIDESHOW (from SD card if there
is one in the card slot else the pictures will be displayed from built-in
memory)
While in SLIDESHOW mode, press POWER button to pause
SLIDESHOW (Only works when pictures are displayed from SD card)
Press LEFT button to go to Previous Picture (during Photo display
mode)
Press RIGHT button to go to Next Picture(during picture display mode)
PRESS EXIT key to exit from Photo display mode
Press ENTER button during Photo display mode (from SD card only) to
switch to THUMBNAIL mode
Press RIGHT or LEFT key to select a picture and then press ENTER

key to display that picture on full screen (SLIDESHOW will start
automatically if Interval Time under SETUP is not set to Manual).
NOTE: The frame will display pictures from SD card if inserted in the frame. If
the card is not inserted then the frame displays pictures from the built-in
memory
NOTE: There is 32MB of built-in memory which holds about 90 pictures and
requires the include DPFMate350 software to copy pictures to the built-in
memory – Remove SD card to display pictures from the built-in memory
CLOCK:
Press RIGHT or LEFT key to highlight CLOCK Menu Option and then press
ENTER key to complete selection
Press & quickly release POWER button to toggle between Digital Clock,
Analog Clock and Calendar, while displaying clock or calendar

CALENDAR:
Press RIGHT or LEFT key to highlight CALENDAR Menu Option and then
press ENTER key to complete selection
NOTE: Press ENTER button while displaying calendar to Enter Date and Time
Change Mode
Once in Date and Time Change Mode YEAR starts flashing
Use LEFT or RIGHT key to change Year
Press Enter to confirm selection and move to change MONTH

Press Enter to confirm selection and move to change DAY
Use LEFT or RIGHT key to change Day

INTERVAL TIME:
Press ENTER key to select Interval Time and change the time
Use RIGHT or LEFT key to select one of the following available
options: 5 Seconds, 10 Seconds, 15 Seconds, 30 Seconds, 1 Minute,
2 Minutes, Manual (select this option to disable slideshow mode)
Press ENTER key to confirm selection and move to the next SETUP
option or press EXIT key to return to the Main Menu
TRANSITION EFFECT:
Press ENTER key to select Transition Effect and change the option
Use RIGHT or LEFT key to select one of the following available
options: No Effect, random, UP DOWN, Black, Shutter 1, Shutter2, Roll,
Push UP, Fade OUT, COMB, Center, Plus, Cheese, Two lines, Four
lines, Many lines, Buttery
Press ENTER key to confirm selection and move to the next SETUP
option or press EXIT key to return to the Main Menu
BROWSE:
Press ENTER key to select Browse and change the option
Use RIGHT or LEFT key to select one of the following available
options: Panscan, Fit, Full, ORG
Press ENTER key to confirm selection and move to the next SETUP
option or press EXIT key to return to the Main Menu

options: English, Chinese

Press ENTER key to select Brightness and change the option
Use RIGHT or LEFT key to select one of the following available
options: 1 to 8
Press ENTER key to confirm selection and move to the next SETUP

AUTO OFF:
Press ENTER key to select Auto Off and setup Hours and Minutes to
auto power off the frame
Use LEFT or RIGHT keys to change Hour
Press Enter to confirm selection and move to change MINUTES
Use LEFT or RIGHT keys to change Minutes
Press ENTER key to confirm selection and move to start from the first
SETUP option or press EXIT key to return to the Main Menu

E. CONNECTING FRAME TO THE COMPUTER (to charge battery, download
pictures and to display pictures without using rechargeable battery or AC
adapter)
Plug smaller end of the USB Cable into USB Port on the frame and the larger end of the
cable into USB port on the computer.
NOTE:
A/C charger can also be used to supply power and charge built-in battery
CHARGE BATTERY & SUPPLY POWER FROM COMPUTER”S USB PORT
:
When the USB cable is properly connected, Charging… message is displayed on the
display indicating the battery is getting charged. It can take up to 4 hours to fully
charge the battery.

connected, and the frame screen displays the Main Menu

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. The built-in memory can hold about 90 pictures and requires DPFMate350
program, which is preinstalled on frames’ memory, to resize, format and
download pictures to the built-in memory only.
2. SD card appears as a USB/Removable Drive if an SD card is inserted in the
SD card slot on the frame, use computer’s Windows Explorer or Finder to
move files from your computer to the SD card (DPFMate350 program is not
required to copy picture-files to the SD card)
COPYING PICTURES TO FRAME’S BUILT-IN MEMORY:
NOTE for Windows® Users:
DPFMate350 software is automatically started directly
from frame’s memory when the frame is connected to a computer running Windows®
Operating System – Part of frame’s memory is setup as CD-Drive. In case the
DPFMate350 application does not start automatically, open CD-Drive (it will have a
Drive letter next to it as well) from Windows Explorer and manually run
DPFMate350.exe file.
NOTE for Mac® OS X Users:
Open DPFMate350 Drive icon that appears on the
screen after the frame is connected to the Mac and
USB Connect Mode is enabled by
pressing “EXIT” key.
User can launch DPFMate350.exe to install DPFMate350
application (or PhotoViewer application in some software versions). If an error
message is displayed, open MacDPFMate350.zip file from DPFMate350 Drive and then
locate MacDPFMate350 application in one of the subfolders and manually start
installation process
IMPORTANT:
If there is virus protection software installed on the computer and it
displays warning message, when the frame is connected to the computer using USB
cable or when DPFMate350 application is run, please select “allow program to make
changes” option.
USING DPFMate350 (Picture convert and copy tool)
NOTE:
This tool can read and convert pictures of JPG, BMP and GIF formats.
DPFMate350 or MacDPFMate350 is used to do the following:
Select pictures stored on the computer or from other storage device connected to
the computer
Preview the pictures before download
Edit pictures (zoom in, zoom out, crop and rotate), before saving it to the frame
Choose one or more pictures for deletion
Download/Save pictures to the frame
Backup/Save one or all the pictures from the frame to your PC
NOTE for Mac Users: The following section describes the picture conversion
tool using PC version of the software, the user interface for Mac version of this

application MacDPFMate350 or PhotoViewer is slightly different.
The following screen appears on the computer when the computer successfully
recognizes the frame and DPFMate350 software is automatically started:
NOTE:
If DPFMate350 application is not launched automatically, open Windows
Explorer and open removable drive which appears as “CD Drive” and manually launch
DPFmate350.exe

EXPLAINATION OF THREE APPLICATION INTERFACE AREAS &
BUTTONS:
SRC AREA:
This area display’s computer’s hard-drive and other storage devices
connected to the computer where pictures are saved (source files)
PIC AREA:
This area displays selected picture which can be rotated, resized and
added to the selection to be downloaded to the frame’s built-in memory

TAG AREA:
This “Selection Area” displays pictures already on frame’s’ built-in
memory and newly selected pictures to be added to the frame’s memory. Pictures can
be deleted from the frame, downloaded to the frame, and backed up to the computer
from this area.
Download
Copy all newly added pictures to the selection area, or Delete all files
marked for deletion from frame’s built-in memory
Select All
Select all pictures in the Selection Area for deletion or making a
backup copy
Delete
Mark picture(s) for deletion in SelectionArea to remove from frame (No
pictures are added or removed to the frame unless Download button is used)
Exit
Exit from DPFMate350 application
Save All
Backup all pictures in Selection Area to the computer in JPG format.
IMPORTANT:
No changes (adding and/or deleting pictures) are made to the frame
unless “Download” button is used

STEPS TO COPY PICTURES TO FRAME’S BUILT-IN MEMORY:
STEP 1: Use SRCArea to select picture from computer’s hard-drive or other
storage devices connected to the computer
STEP 2: Use PIC Area to e
dit picture (zoom in, zoom out, crop and rotate)
STEP 3: A
dd picture to the Selection Area (by pressingADD button) to be downloaded
NOTE: Repeat Steps 1 to 3 for all the pictures to be copied to the frame
and then perform STEP 4
STEP 4: Press Download button in TAG Area to download all newly added
pictures to frame’s built-in memory.
IMPORTANT: No changes are made to the frame unless “Download”
button is used
Please avoid pulling out the USB cable while downloading pictures, doing so
may destroy information on the frame.
COPYING PICTURES TO AN SD CARD INSERTED IN SD CARD SLOT ON
THE FRAME:
DPFMate350 application is NOT required to copy pictures to the SD card in frames’ SD
card slot.
STEP 1:
Insert SD card in frame’s Card Slot
STEP 2:
Connect frame to the computer using USB cable
STEP 3:
Enable USB Connect Mode by pressing “EXIT” button on the frame
STEP 4:
The SD card in SD Card Slot appears as a USB/Removable Drive under
Windows Explorer (PC) or Finder (Mac)
STEP 5:
Open removable drive (that corresponds to the SD card) - DESTINATION
STEP 6:
Open Source picture files folder in another window - SOURCE
STEP 7:
Drag and Drop JPEG picture files from SOURCE to DESTINATION
NOTE:
DPFMate350 program is not required to copy picture-files to the SD card

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS & FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How do I charge my Digital Photo Frame?
A: You can charge frames’ built-in battery by connecting the frame using USB
cable to a computer’s USB port or by using an A/C charger.
Q: How do I know when to charge the battery?
A: A low battery sign is displayed when battery charge is low indicating battery
should be charged.
Q: What memory cards can the Digital Photo Frame read?
A: SD / MMC card with a capacity of up to 8GB,
Q: What media formats does the Digital Photo Frame support?
A: JPEG picture format of resolution no more than 8 Mega-Pixels.
Q: I have a memory card in the Digital Photo Frame, why can’t I view the
images or “?” sign appears on the screen?
A: Make sure that the memory card is an SD or MMC card with capacity of no
more than 8GB, and the pictures are of JPG format and are not of resolution
higher than 8 Mega-Pixels.
Q: What can I do if frame does not respond when any of the buttons are
pressed on the frame or shows a blank screen?
A: Reset the frame by using something pointy to press RESET button inside
the small hole below USB port on the frame.
Q: What can I do if the frame is not recognized as USB device when I connect
it to my computer using USB cable?
A: Make sure the frame screen displays Main Menu and then press “EXIT” key
to enable USB Connect Mode; once in USB Connect Mode, the frame screen
will display “Connecting PC, Press Enter to Exit”.
Q: Why computer does not show removable disk or CD Drive even when the
frame is in USB Connect Mode and displays message “Connecting PC, Press
Enter to Exit”?
A: On some 64-bit Windows operating systems, it can take up to 3 minutes
before the removable drive and CD-Drive may show up under Windows
Explorer or “My Computer”.

Limited 90-Day Warranty
Coverage: Hi-Tech Trading (USA), Inc. (“HiTT”) warrants this product
(“product”) against defects in materials and workmanship under normal
consumer use for 90 days from the date of purchase. HiTT, at its option, will
at no charge repair, replace or refund the purchase price of this product
should it not conform to this warranty. This limited warranty is a consumer’s
exclusive remedy, extends only to the first consumer purchaser, is not
transferable and is valid only on products purchased by consumers in the
United States or Canada.
Exclusions:
Normal Wear and Tear: Periodic maintenance, repair and replacement of
parts due to normal wear and tear are excluded from coverage.
Batteries: Only batteries whose fully charged capacity falls below 80% of
their rated capacity and batteries that leak during warranty period are
covered by this limited warranty.
Miscellaneous: This warranty does NOT cover defects or damage that
result from: (a) improper operation, storage, misuse or abuse, accident or
neglect, such as physical damage (cracks, scratches, etc.) to the surface of
the Product resulting from misuse; (b) contact with liquid, water, rain,
extreme humidity or heavy perspiration, sand, dirt or the like, extreme heat,
or food; (c) use of the Product for commercial purposes or subjecting the
Product to abnormal usage or conditions; (d) service, installation, alteration,
or modification in any way by someone other than HiTT and, (e) other acts
which are not the fault of HiTT.
