Installingyourunit
•Open the packageand removethe protectivefoam. Removethe
protectivesleevefromthe unit.
•Installthe DigitalPictureFramestand asthe back of the unit.
•Plug inthe ACadapterintopoweroutlet. Plugthe otherendintothe
unit.
•Afterthe contentisstored on thetarget flashmedia; insert the
mediaintothe correct slot.
•TurnpowertoONpositionviathe ON/OFFswitch.
ConnectingtoaPC
The DigitalPictureFramehasaUSB port forconnection toaPC(USB Slave)
and asecond USB port forconnection tootherdevicessuchasaFlashDrive,
USB cardreader, oracamera(USB Host).

InsertingMemoryCards
The DigitalPictureFrameiscompatiblewiththe following memorycards:
•SecureDigitalTM Card(SD)
•MultiMediaTM Card(MMC)
•MemoryStickTM
•CompactFlashTM (CF)Card
•XDPictureCards
Insert thememorycardwiththe frontlabelfacing AWAY fromyou. Donot
forcethememorycardintothe memoryslot. Ifyou arenot abletoeasilyinsert
the memorycardcompletely, you mayhaveinserted it the wrong way.
Note:
The DigitalPictureFramewillONLYrecognizedigitalpicturesstored inJPEG
format. Digitalpicturesstored inotherformatswillbe ignoredbythedevice.
Makesureyou haveatleast onepicturestoredon the memorycard. The
framewillnot functionproperlywithout astoredpicture.
You alsocan useaUSB flashdriveinthe exact samewayasyou woulduse
amemorycard. Simplycopyfileson theflashdriveand insertitat the right
side of the unitintheUSB Host plug.

Mainmenu
Upon turning on the DigitalPictureFrame, the slideshowwill automatically
start. Press the “MENU”buttontoshowthe following menu:

Usethe left and right arrowstomoveinsidethemenu and then press “Enter”
tocontinue
Note: Inallmenus, pressing the “Menu”buttonwillbring you back tothe main
menu

•Highlightthe “PHOTO”option fromthe mainmenu and press “ENTER”
•Select thedesired flashmedia.(SD/xD/CF/MS/USB/ InternalMemory)
•Alist of availablepictureswillbe displayed. Usethe up and down
arrowstohighlightthe desired fileand press “Enter”tocontinue
•The slideshowwillstart

Onceaslideshowisplaying orapictureisbeing shown, press theENTER

Changing the orientation for one picture
Usethe rotatefunction tochangethe pictureorientationtoeitherportrait or
landscape.
Zoom
Choosethe Zoomfunctiontomagnifythe image. Repeatthisoperation
severaltimestofurtherzoomin.
Browsing Thumbnails
Choosethe thumbnailoptionon themenu (the iconwith9bulletspoints)and
you willbeabletobrowsethough yourpicturesinthumbnailformat.

Watchingvideo
The DigitalPictureFramesupportsthe following video formats:
•Motion JPEG (AVI): videoformat used bymost digitalcameras
MPEG-I
•MPEG-2
•MPEG 4,wecan support most MP4format file.
Makesureyou haveatleast onevideo onyourmemorycardoryourUSB
flashdrive.When thisisdone:
•Choosethe “MOVIE”option fromthe mainmenu and press “ENTER”
•Select thedesired flashmedia.(SD/xD/CF/MS/USB/InternalMemory)
•Alist of availablevideoswillbedisplayed. Usethe up and downarrows
tohighlight yourrequired fileandpress “Enter”tocontinue
•The videowillbeginplaying

Tocopyand deletefilesonyourmemorycard/ USB driveorinternalmemory:
Copy:
•Choosethe “EDIT”option fromthe mainmenu.
•Select thedesired flashmediathat youwant tocopyfrom.

Delete:

1)Q: Whydomyphotostakesolongtoload?
A: Generallythehigherthe resolutionof thephoto, thelongerit willtaketo
load. Resizing yourphotostoalowerresolutionwillquickenthe processing
time.
2)Q: Howdo I storemusicfiles?
A: First, useapersonalcomputerandpopularaudioediting softwareto
convert yourmusictoMP3format. The DigitalPictureFramewillonlyplay
MP3filessoallWindowsMediaPlayer™and/oriTunes™fileswillhavetobe
convertedfirst. You can useacardreaderoryourdigitalcameratotransfer
thosefilestoyourmemorycard.
3)Q: Howcomethe DigitalPictureFramedoesnot showsomeofmyphotos?
A: The DigitalPictureFrameisdesignedtoshowphotosfollowing thesame
cameraindustrystandardsformat asdigitalcameras. Thisformat isaJPEG
format. Images, suchasweb images, scannedimages, orphotosinRAW
format, arenot stored accordingtocameraindustrystandardsand therefore
cannot bedisplayed correctlyon theDigitalPictureFrame. Pleaseuseyour
PCapplicationstoconvert suchimagesintostandardJPEG format before
viewing themon the DigitalPictureFrame.
4)Q: If Ikeep showing thesamephotoforalong time,willit damage the LCD
screen?
A: No. The DigitalPictureFramecan displaythe samephotocontinuouslyfor
along time. But itisrecommended not toshowthe samepicturecontinuously
formorethan 1month.
5)Q: Doesthispictureframehasbuilt-inmemory?
A: Internalmemoryisoptionforyou,if youneed internalmemorypleaseletus
knowbeforemass production.
