ABOUT THE 2GIG GO!CONTROL SYSTEM
Dependingontheoptionssetduringtheinstallation,the2GIGGo!Controlsystemhastheabilitytoprovidethreeformsof
protection:burglary,fire,andemergency,Thesystemconsistsofthe2GIGControlPanel,wirelesssensorsforperimeterand
interiorburglaryprotection,andwirelesssmokeandcarbonmonoxidedetectors.Inaddition,optionalremotecontrolkey
fobs,wirelesspanicbuttons,andkeypadsmayalsobeinstalled.
Thesystemmonitorsallprotectionsensortypes(a.k.a.,“zones”)andthesystem’sstatus.TheControlPaneldisplays
monitoringinformationandcontrolsthealarmsiren.Thesystemcanalsobesetuptosendalarmandstatusreportstoa
CentralStationandhasthecapabilityfortwo(2)‐wayvoicecommunicationswiththeRemoteServiceProvider(RSP).
Whenasecuritysystemisinstalled,insurersmayofferdiscountsonthehomeowners’orrenters’insurancepolicy.Although
therequirementsanddiscountcreditsvaryforeachdifferentinsurer,userscangenerallysavemoneyasthelevelof
protectionincreases.Itisrecommendedthatyouinformtheendusertocheckwiththeirinsuranceagenttodetermineif
theinsurerhasspecificrequirementsand/oroffersanydiscount(s).

TherecommendedstoragetemperatureforallControlPanelsis‐10°Cto60°C(14°Fto140°F).ForoptimalControlPanel
use,operationtemperatureis0°Cto49°C(32°Fto120°F).Noaltituderangelimitationshavebeenreportedwhile
transportingControlPanel.
Installing the System in Residential Settings
Wheninstallingthesysteminaresidentialsetting,beawareofthefollowing:
•Firewarningsystemsmustbeinstalledinaccordancewithnationalcodes.IntheUnitedStates,firewarning
systemsmustbeinstalledinaccordancewithANSI/NFPA72NationalFireAlarmandSignalingCodeandANSI/NFPA
70NationalElectricCode.
•Apermitmayberequiredforthisalarmsystem.Somecitiesandmunicipalitiesmayrequireanalarmsystem
permit.Beforeinstallingthissystem,alwaysensurethatyouareincompliancewithanynational,regional,andlocal
laws,rules,and/orguidelines.
•Thissystemisintendedforusewithapproved‐modelsmokealarmsonly.Foruseasasmokealarmsystem,there
mustbeatleastone(1)smokealarmprogrammedintotheControlPanelandmustuseonlyapprovedmodelsmoke

•FailuretofollowETLrequirementsvoidsthissystem’sETLListedmark.FailuretoinstalltheControlPaneland
accessoriesinaccordancewiththeETLrequirementsdocumentedinthismanualvoidsitsETLListedMark.
Installing the System in Commercial Settings
Wheninstallingthesysteminacommercialsetting,beawareofthefollowing:
•Thesystemcannotbeusedforfireprotectionincommercialsettings.Inacommercialsetting,itisimportantto
knowthattheControlPanelisneitherdesignednorintendedforuseasafireprotectionsystem.
•Thesystemisintendedonlyforsecurityprotectionofpremises.Inacommercialsetting,thissystemisonly
intendedforprotectionofcommercialpremises,suchasamercantileoroffice.Itisneitherdesignednorintended
toprotectcommercialbankvaults.
•Apermitmayberequiredforthisalarm.Somecitiesandmunicipalitiesmayrequireanalarmsystempermit.
Beforeinstallingthissystem,alwaysensurethatyouareincompliancewithanynational,regional,andlocallaws,
rules,and/orguidelines.

emergencies.
•Date,Time,andWeatherDisplay.*Scrollthroughthedate,time,anddailyweatherforecast.Providestheabilityto
receivemessages,includingsevereweatherwarnings.
•QuickAccess.Theonetouchaccessbuttonsallowthequickesthelppossibleinanemergency.Thefrontpanel
andbuttonsserveascontrolsaswellasindicators.Pressingthe buttondisplaysemergencyiconsonthe
displayforPanic,Fire,andEmergencyalarmactivation(eachhasprogrammableoptionsandcanbeenabledor
disabled).PressingthebuttonchangesthesystemdisplaytotheHomescreen
•FullColorTouchScreen.Controlallsystemfunctionswithaneasy‐to‐usecolortouchscreenputsawiderangeof
securityandhomeautomationcontrolsatyourfingertips.
