> INTRODUCTION
This procedure is intended to guide you through removing the Y-Axis belt. This may be necessary in the
following cases:
•Y-Axis motor needs to be checked for function
•Y-Axis motors needs to be replaced (i.e. broken shaft)
•Adjustment of the pulley on the Y-Axis motor
•Installation of the Y-Axis Upgrade Kit
•Replacement of the Y-Axis Belt
•Tension adjustment in the Y-Axis Belt
> PROCEDURE
1. Remove the top panel
2. Remove the side panel hex nuts & handle screws

3. Loosen the hex screws on the x-axis carriage slightly (1/2 turn)
a. NOTE: Do NOT loosen these screws fully, as there is a mechanism inside of the this
component that can be challenging to re-install
4. Loosen the hex nuts on the side of the x-axis carriage to loosen the belt

5. Manipulate the belt over the y-axis pulley on the motor
