Usage Instructions:
•Avoid putting the lamp on uneven surfaces to prevent toppling or damage
•Avoid usage in high temperature (104˚F/40˚C) areas
•Avoid usage in humid and wet areas (showers or outdoor)
•Avoid putting lamp next to a heater
•Lamps should not be covered with flammable objects (cloth or paper, etc.)
•Do not use force when adjusting the lamp
•Do not use lamp with other adaptors
•Do not use lamp with other voltage supply
•Do not attempt to dismantle, modify or force lamp apart
•Do not insert objects into the lamp
•If not in use for a prolonged period, remove socket from power
•Do not come in contact with the lamp and socket with wet hands
•If any irregularities are detected during use, turn off and remove
from power source immediately

Maintenance:
•Always remove lamp from power source before performing any
maintenance on the lamp
•Lamp cannot be washed in water. If it is dirty, unplug from the electrical
socket and wipe with a clean cloth

The 3M TL1200 Polarizing LED Task Light features 3M proprietary polarizing
light filter technology. The polarizing light filter technology reduces glare by
50-80% on reading materials and work surfaces and improves eye comfort.*
Reduced glare and improved lighting can help increase reading efficiency.
In addition, the TL1200 has LED bulbs. LED bulbs have the
following advantages:
•Energy efficient and remain cool to the touch
•Last up to 40,000 hours
•Do not contain mercury
•Do not produce UV light
•Anti-flicker
*The amount of reflected glare reduction in reading materials is dependent on viewing angle.
Glare reduction is reduced by 50% at a 30 degree reflection angle from light to eye,
and reduced by 80% at a 60 degree angle from light to eye.

Warranty Information
Limited Five-Year Warranty
3M warrants to the owner of this task light that it is free from defects in material
and workmanship under normal use and service for five years from the original
date of purchase. The warranty does not include normal wear and tear or failure
due to operator misuse, carelessness or any accidental cause.
3M MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION
OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
If, after the date of purchase, the product proves to be defective or requires
service, your exclusive remedy and 3M’s and seller’s sole obligation shall be,
at 3M’s option, to repair or replace the product. If you have a problem with the
product, please call our Customer Service toll-free number, 1-800-332-7483.
If requested by 3M, you must send the product to 3M at your sole cost.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse,
and lack of reasonable care.
Limitation of Liability: Except where prohibited by law, 3M and seller will not be
liable for any loss or damage arising from this 3M product, whether direct, indirect,
special, incidental or consequential, regardless of the legal theory asserted,
including warranty, contract, negligence or strict liability.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and may vary from state to state.
The foregoing Limited Five-Year Warranty and Limitation of Liability language
may be changed only by a written agreement signed by authorized officers of
3M and seller.
Return Privilege: This product is sold subject to the foregoing Limited Five-Year
Warranty and Limitation. If you do not wish to purchase the product subject to
these conditions, then you may return the product to 3M for a full refund of your
purchase price within ten (10) days after the purchase date. Call 1-800-332-7483
for return instructions.

INTENDED USE: These lights are intended to provide polarized task lighting
indoors. Use in any other application has not been evaluated by 3M and may
lead to an unsafe condition.
3M LED Task Lights are intended for indoor office use and have not been tested
for operation at different voltages or used outdoors. Each of these misuses could
damage the light and/or create unsafe operating conditions.
WARNING:
To reduce the risks associated with impact and hazardous voltage which, if
not avoided, could result in death or serious injury and/or property damage:
- use indoors and in dry locations only; keep all liquids away from the lamp
- avoid putting the lamp on uneven surfaces to prevent toppling or damage
- do not alter or modify the light, the ground plug or the polarized
plug blades
- do not use the lamp with other adaptors or voltage supply
- plug the task light into a grounded, polarized electrical outlet; contact
a qualified electrician if a polarized outlet is not available
- do not use the task light if the power cord or the enclosure is damaged
- if an extension cord is used, ensure that it is properly rated for
your application
- do not attempt to disassemble lamp; product is to be serviced by qualified
service personnel only—there are no user serviceable parts inside
- always power off and unplug lamp before cleaning
- clean exterior only with a dry, clean cloth; do not immerse lamp in water
to clean
- do not use force when adjusting lamp
- do not insert objects into the lamp
- if any irregularities are detected during use, turn off the switch and unplug
the lamp
