Die Firma AAT Alber Antriebstechnik
GmbH erklärt hiermit, dass die Begleits-
tuerung des SOLO den einschlägigen Be-
stimmungen der EG-Richtlinie 2006/42/
EG, 2007/47/EG und 93/42/EG entspricht.
Bei einer nicht mit der Firma AAT
Alber Antriebstechnik GmbH abge-
stimmten Änderung der Begleitsteuerung,
verliert diese Erklärung ihre Gültigkeit.

der Prüf- und Zertizierstelle Berlin-Cert
an der Technischen Universität Berlin

hinweise
WARNUNG - Kann zu Tod oder

HINWEIS - Kann zu Sach-
schaden führen!
» Vor Inbetriebnahme Bedienungsan-
leitung lesen, Warn- / Sicherheits-
hinweise sowie Grenzwerte des Roll-
stuhls beachten.
» Vor Inbetriebnahme elektronische
Funktion, Kippstützen, Halterung und
ggf. Luftdruck der Antriebsräder (7 bar)
sowie der Lenkrollen prüfen.
» Mindestens eine Stunde vor Inbetrieb-
nahme in frostfreier Umgebung lagern.
» Technische Daten beachten.
» Zulässiges Gesamtgewicht nicht über-
schreiten.
» Durch Anbau können sich die Ab-
messungen des Rollstuhles verändern.
» Bedienung nur durch eine einzelne
geschulte Person. Person sollte körper-
lich und geistig in der Lage sein, den
SOLO sicher zu bedienen.
» Auf einer Ebene im Freien und mit
niedrigster Geschwindigkeit üben.
» Zur Beförderung von einer einzelnen
Person. Nicht zum Transport von
Gegenständen.
» Personen die nicht selbständig sitzen
können, mit Gurt sichern.

» Before initial operation, read the user’s
manual carefully and take note of the
warning and safety instructions as well
as the wheelchair’s limiting values.
» Before initial operation, check the
electronic function, anti-tilt supports,
brackets and, if applicable, the powered
wheels (7 bar) and the steering rollers’
air pressure.
» Before initial operation, store the SOLO
at least one hour in a non-freezing
environment.
» Take note of the technical data.
» The approved total weight may not be
exceeded.
» Due to the mounting of the SOLO the
measurements of the wheelchair can
change.
» Operation only by one trained person.
This person should be physically and
intellectually capable to handle the
SOLO safely.
» Practice outside on level ground and at
the lowest possible speed.
» For the transportation of persons, not of
loads.
» Secure persons who can not seat on
their own with a belt.

» Niemals in rotierende/bewegende Teile
fassen.
» Beim Blockieren der Antriebselemente
oder bei Änderungen am Fahrverhalten
sofort ausschalten und SOLO nicht
mehr benutzen.
» Fahrten bei starkem Regen, Eis, Schnee
und unbefestigtem Untergrund (Sand,
Schlamm, loser Schotter) vermeiden.
» Bei Fahrten auf öffentlichen Straßen,
Straßenverkehrsordnung beachten.
» Straßen, Kreuzungen und Bahnüber-
gänge mit erhöhter Vorsicht über-
queren.
» Nie ohne Kippstützen verwenden.
» Nicht mit montierten Kippstützen rück-
wärts an Wand fahren.
» Gefälle mit niedrigster Geschwindigkeit
befahren.
» Das Befahren von Gefällen mit Antriebs-
rädern im manuellen Betrieb vermei-
den.
» Nicht auf Rolltreppen, Treppen oder
Laufbändern verwenden.
» Nicht an Treppen oder Abgründe heran-
fahren.
» Parallelfahrten an steilen Berghängen
oder Schienen vermeiden.
» Ausreichend Abstand zur Bordstein-
kante halten.
» Bordsteinkanten / Hindernisse immer
rückwärts überwinden.
» Nicht mit Rollstuhl-Zuggeräten oder
Handbikes verwenden.
» Während Fahrpausen, bei Nutzung von
Nahverkehrsmitteln (Omnibusse, Stra-
ßenbahnen usw.) und beim Umsitzen
ausschalten und Feststellbremsen des
Rollstuhls anziehen.
» Feststellbremsen des Rollstuhls müssen
richtig justiert sein.
» Never touch rotating or moving parts.
» If the drive elements block or the
driving characteristics change, turn off
the SOLO immediately and stop using it.
» Avoid using the SOLO in heavy
rain, ice, snow and on unsecured
grounds (sand, mud, loose gravel).
» Driving on public roads, observe trafc
regulations.
» When crossing streets, intersections and
train tracks, use extra caution.
» Never use the SOLO without anti-tilt
supports.
» Do not drive backward to a wall with
mounted anti-tilt supports.
» Use the lowest possible speed when
driving on slopes.
» Avoid driving down slopes manually with
powered wheels.
» Do not use the SOLO on escalators,
stairs or moving belts.
» Do not drive too closely to stairs or
precipices.
» Do not drive parallel to steep mountain
sites or tracks.
» Keep a safe distance to curbs.
» Always go backwards over curbs/obsta-
cles.
» Do not use in connection with hand
bikes or other powered wheelchair
additions.
» When not in use, e.g. while using
mass transportation (bus, subway,
etc.) or when you change seats, turn
off the SOLO and engage the locking
brakes on the wheelchair.
» The wheelchair’s locking brakes must
be adjusted properly.

» Beim Transport ausschalten.
» Beim Transport in Fahrzeugen gemäß
gültigen gesetzlichen Vorschriften
sichern.
» SOLO mit Rollstuhl nicht als Sitz in
einem Fahrzeug verwenden.
» Akku-Pack nach jedem Gebrauch la-
den.
» Ladegerät niemals am Ladekabel/Lade-
leitung tragen.
» Beim Ladevorgang Kabel sicher ver-
legen.
» Akku-Pack im Brandfall nur mit Sand
löschen.
» Pole des Akku-Pack niemals kurz-
schließen oder verbinden.
» Bei Defekt oder Beschädigung - Akku-
Pack nicht verwenden! Hersteller, AAT-
Außendienst oder autorisierten Fach-
handel verständigen.
» Steckkontakte müssen trocken sein.
» Vor Feuchtigkeit schützen.
» Ladegerät und Kfz-Spannungswandler
vor Ölen, Fetten, aggressiven Reini-
gungsmitteln, Verdünnungen oder
Beschädigungen schützen.
» Rollstuhl nach Angaben des Herstellers
reinigen.
» Keinen Hochdruckreiniger verwenden.
» Alle zwei Jahre eine sicherheits-
technische Prüfung durchführen.
» Reparaturen oder sicherheitstechnische
Prüfungen dürfen nur vom Hersteller,
AAT-Außendienst oder vom autorisierten
Fachhandel durchgeführt werden.
» Die Oberächentemperatur kann sich
durch externe Wärmequellen (z.B. Son-
nenlicht) erhöhen.
» SOLO von Zündquellen fernhalten.
» SOLO kann hochempndliche elektro-
magnetische Felder anderer elektroni-
scher Geräte (z.B. Anti-Diebstahl-
Vorrichtungen) stören.
» Turn off the SOLO for transportation.
» During transportation in vehicles,
secure the SOLO according to the
relevant legal regulations.
» Do not use the SOLO plus
wheelchair as a seat in a vehicle.
» Charge the battery pack after each use.
» Never carry the charger at the charging
cable.
» When charging the SOLO, make sure
the cable lies on safe ground.
» Should the battery pack catch re, put it
out with sand only.
» Never short-circuit or connect the
battery pack’s poles.
» Should the battery pack be damaged or
defect, do not use it! Contact the manu-
facturer or authorized personnel.
» Keep the plug-in contacts dry.
» Protect the SOLO against humidity.
» Protect the charger and the voltage
converter for the car from oils, grease,
aggressive cleaning agents, thinners or
damage.
» Clean the wheelchair according to the
manufacturer‘s specications.
» Do not use a high-pressure cleaning
device.
» We recommend a safety check every
two years.
» Repairs and safety checks may only be
done by the manufacturer or authorized
personnel.
» The surface temperature could
increase due to the inuence of
external sources like sunlight.
» Keep the SOLO away from ignition
sources.
» The SOLO may interfere with other
electronic devices‘ sensitive electro-
magnetic elds (e.g. anti-theft systems
in department stores).

3.2 Fahren mit dem SOLO
WARNUNG-Niemalsinrotieren-

VORSICHT - Beim Blockieren der
Antriebselemente oder bei
Änderungen am Fahrverhalten

nicht benutzen!
VORSICHT - Beim Befahren
von Steigungen reagiert die
Steuerung emp ndlicher. Bei
zu starken Auslenkbewegungen
den Bediengriff kurz loslassen.

Displaybeleuchtung schaltet nach 20
Sekunden bei Nicht-Betätigung des
Bediengerätes ab.
Abschaltautomatik schaltet bei längeren
Pausen nach 10 Minuten SOLO ab.
Akku-Kapazität prüfen.
» 5 Balken = voll
» 3 Balken = halb-voll
» 1 Balken = leer -> La-
den!

CAUTION - When driving uphill
the control unit reacts more
sensitively. Please brie y let
go of the control grip when the

The display’s light turns itself off after 20
seconds of non-use.
During longer brakes of non-use, the
automatic switch-off turns the SOLO off
after 10 minutes.
Check battery capacity.
