Setting up
Connecting the Battery Pack
For safety, the Battery Pack is supplied discharged and disconnected.
Before use, the Battery must be connected and fully charged.
Remove the screw from the Battery Compartment Door.
Push down, and slide back the Battery Compartment Door.
Fit the Battery Pack Connector taking care to insert it correctly.
Fit the Battery Pack ensuring wires are correctly routed and not trapped.

There is also the option of charging the Printer via the Jack Socket in the D9 Connector.
Fully charging the Battery Pack takes about 15 hours.The printer should not be used during
this time.
Loading Paper
Slide the Lid Release Button forwards until the Lid springs open.
Unwind a small amount of paper from the roll and Insert the Paper Roll into the Printer.
Close the Lid down, and the paper is loaded.
Pressing the paper feed button when the printer is idle advances paper at typically
50mm per second, depending on the battery voltage. However, the feed
button has several additional functions:
A single press and release of the button:
●In idle or spooling mode, advances paper.
●In sleep mode, wakes up the printer into idle mode.
“Double-clicking”the button:
●
encoded calibration data, and the full character set.
●In spooling mode, exits spooling mode and prints any stored data.

Using your Bluetooth printer
The Ap1300 and Ap1310 are operationally identical.
LED patterns indicate the following modes:
●Constant GREEN: operating normally from battery pack.
●
●ORANGE: battery is being charged.
●RED: battery is low, or other problem.
●
The LED patterns will change when connected to another device via Bluetooth.
All GREEN will be replaced by BLUE.
All ORANGE will be replaced by PURPLE.

Charging
LED Flashes Blue/Violet
Whilst connected to a trickle charger, the unit
can both receive and print data. Leaving a trickle
charger connected to the Ap13x0BTi will permit
the unit’s battery pack to be charged when the
unit is not printing.
A full charge takes 10-16 hours. When
charged, the printer should be unplugged
from the charger.

Connecting to Mobile devices
To connect to your iPod, iPhone or iPad device, follow these steps:
Ensure the printer is awake
On your mobile device’s settings app, enable Bluetooth and
connect to the printer marked“Able Ap13x0-BTi”
When prompted, enter the PIN“1234”
Your mobile device will now be connected to your
mini-printer and ready to print
