• PROPER INSTALLATION OF THIS PRODUCT REQUIRES THE
INSTALLER TO HAVE A GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF AUTOMOTIVE
ELECTRONICS, SYSTEMS AND PROCEDURES.
• THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS HIGH-INTENSITY LEDS. DO NOT
STARE DIRECTLY INTO THESE LIGHTS. MOMENTARY BLINDNESS
AND/OR EYE DAMAGE COULD RESULT.
• DO NOT INSTALL THIS PRODUCT OR ROUTE ANY WIRES IN THE
DEPLOYMENT AREA OF YOUR AIR BAG. EQUIPMENT MOUNTED
OR LOCATED IN THE AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT AREA WILL DAMAGE
OR REDUCE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE AIR BAG, OR BECOME
A PROJECTILE THAT COULD CAUSE SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY
OR DEATH. REFER TO YOUR VEHICLE OWNER MANUAL FOR THE
AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT AREA. THE USER/INSTALLER ASSUMES
FULL RESPONSIBILITY TO DETERMINE PROPER MOUNTING
LOCATION, BASED ON PROVIDING ULTIMATE SAFETY TO ALL
PASSENGERS INSIDE THE VEHICLE.
• IF MOUNTING THIS PRODUCT REQUIRES DRILLING HOLES, THE
INSTALLER MUST BE SURE THAT NO VEHICLE COMPONENTS OR
OTHER VITAL PARTS COULD BE DAMAGED BY THE DRILLING
PROCESS. CHECK BOTH SIDES OF THE MOUNTING SURFACE
BEFORE DRILLING BEGINS. ALSO DE-BURR ANY HOLES AND
REMOVE ANY METAL SHARDS OR REMNANTS. INSTALL
GROMMETS INTO ALL WIRE PASSAGE HOLES.
• INSPECT AND OPERATE THIS PRODUCT REGULARLY TO
CONFIRM ITS PROPER OPERATION AND MOUNTING CONDITION.
DO NOT USE A PRESSURE WASHER TO CLEAN THIS PRODUCT.
• FOR THIS PRODUCT TO OPERATE AT OPTIMUM EFFICIENCY, A
GOOD ELECTRICAL CONNECTION TO CHASSIS GROUND MUST
BE MADE. THE RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE REQUIRES THE
PRODUCT GROUND WIRE TO BE CONNECTED DIRECTLY TO THE
NEGATIVE (-) BATTERY POST.
• IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THESE INSTRUCTIONS BE STORED
IN A SAFE PLACE AND REFERRED TO WHEN PERFORMING
MAINTENANCE AND/OR REINSTALLATION OF THIS PRODUCT.
• FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND
INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT
OR VEHICLE AND/OR SERIOUS INJURY TO YOU AND YOUR
PASSENGERS!

1. BRIEF INTRODUCTION
The Tornado low-frequency alarm system is an infrasound alarm designed based on the audible
range of the human ear. Low frequency tones comes with the distinct advantage of penetrating solid
materials allowing drivers and nearby pedestrians to FEEL the sound waves. Ideal for high traffic
areas and busy intersections.

3. WIRING & FUNCTION
3.1WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
Line position and function description
Connect the red wire to the POSITIVE battery terminal and the black wire to the NEGATIVE battery
terminal.
THE INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN AND OPERATOR MUST READ THIS MANUAL BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION OR OPERATION OF YOUR
NEW PRODUCT. THEY MUST HAVE A THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS, ELECTRONICS AND PROCEDURES.

4. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS OF BRACKETS
4.1 INSTALLATION FOR SPEAKER
4.2 LOUDSPEAKER POSITION CAN BE ADJUSTED AS BELOW:
4.1.1 Drilling four φ8.5 holes in the vehicle ensure that the bracket of the speaker match with the
installation position.
4.1.2 Mount the support bracket to the speaker using the supplied screws, as shown in figure 1 and
figure 2

5. FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS
5.1TONE DURATION
The alarm system is built-in with adjustable Timer from 8 to 64 seconds, which is set by Timer
Selection on the panel. Once activated, the amplifier will produce tones for a period of time as
determined, it will automatically stop when that duration has been reached. The panel is designed
with 3 LED indicators. The currently selected time can be identified by the LED indicators. Refer to
Table 2 for LED display information（Note: solid circle is LED light, hollow circle is LED light off）.

WARNING
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS RECOMMENDATION COULD CAUSE HEARING LOSS!
Please read the safety information carefully.
Working Environment
Please keep this product in a ventilated, dry position to avoid environmental damage (moisture,
gray curtain, food, liquid, direct exposure to sunlight, etc.). To avoid magnetic field interference
and damage, please stay away from other electronic products (such as on-board DVD, air
conditioner, etc.) when installing the host.
Power must be turned off before installing amplifier and speaker
Please confirm that the connection, power supply and other matters of the low-frequency alarm
system meet the requirements of the user manual.
Do not listen to alarm sounds at close range without ear protection, Exposure to these tones
without proper and adequate hearing protection, could cause ear damage and/or hearing loss!
Do not install this product or route any wires in the deployment area of your air bag. Products or
wires installed in this area can cause damage to the airbag when it flaps, reducing the
effectiveness of the airbag, and even causing serious injury or death. Please refer to your vehicle
airbag manual for details. The user shall assume full responsibility for determining the
appropriate installation location and shall give priority to the safety of all passengers in the
vehicle.






Make sure that the amplifier and speaker matched.

Be aware that the ground wire must be connected to the negative

If anything is blocked in front of the speaker port, the sound will be reduced, make sure the front
of the speaker is empty or free of any obstacles;

Do not install the speaker where it may interfere with the operation of the airbag sensor;

Two loudspeakers should be connected in parallel when installation.

As the low frequency is an efficient infrasound, it cannot be activated continuously.

Do not connect the alarm devices to the car battery until all parts are installed and no short
circuit.
When approaching or connecting the battery, protective measures should be taken to avoid
sparks, which may cause damage to the vehicle or personal injury
When moving the low-frequency alarm system, all power should be disconnected, and
hot- plugging is not allowed.
Amplifier and speakers must match to work properly.
