It contains detailed instructions on how to use the monitor and a description of all its functions.

Inserting the test strip drum
• Slide the release button on the right side of the monitor in the direction indicated by the arrow.
• Fully open the drum compartment.
• To exchange the drum, first tip the monitor upright.
The old drum drops out.
• Insert the new drum. Close the drum compartment.
Testing blood glucose
• Press the ON/OFF button.
• Collect capillary blood.
• Wait until the flashing hand symbol and blood drop symbol appear in the display and the monitor beeps.

Taking a reading
• Hold the monitor so the test strip is pointing downwards.
Gently touch the front edge of the test strip against the blood drop and draw up blood until the monitor
beeps.
• After the result has been displayed, hold the monitor upright and press the ON/OFF button. The test strip
drops out.
Reviewing stored values
• The monitor is in the powered-off state.
• Press the MEMO button. The most recent result is displayed.
• Press the SET button. Pressing it repeatedly takes you gradually towards the “oldest” result stored.
• Press the MEMO button to scroll forward to the “newest“ result again.
• Press the ON/OFF button to turn off the monitor.
