B. Stecken Sie ein Mundstück auf die seitliche Öffnung zum
Anbringen der Mundstücke. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das
Mundstück fest sitzt. Verwenden Sie für jede Testperson ein
neues Mundstück.
Nach ein paar Sekunden wird
“blow” am Display angezeigt
(und zusätzlich ertönt 2x ein
Piep-Ton). Jetzt pusten Sie
4 Sekunden lang in das ange-
brachte Mundstück (während
des Pust-Vorgangs piepst das
Gerät). Pusten Sie, als ob Sie
konstant pfeifen würden. Sobald
genug Atemluft abgegeben
wurde, stoppt der Piep-Ton und
Sie hören einen Tick-Tack-Ton.
Drücken Sie 2 Sekunden
lang den Startknopf* bis
Sie einen Piep-Ton hören.
Es startet ein Countdown
und das Gerät wärmt sich
auf.

Testdurchführung:
A. Kontrollieren Sie, ob sich 2 Stück AA-Batterien (Alkaline, 1,5 V)
im Batteriefach befinden. Entfernen Sie dafür den Batteriefach-
deckel an der Rückseite des Gerätes vorsichtig und ziehen Sie
das eingelegte Stück Papier heraus (es dient zum Schutz vor
Selbstentladung). Beachten Sie beim späteren Austausch von
alten gegen neue Batterien deren Polarität (+/-).

Zum manuellen Ausschalten
drücken Sie 2 Sekunden
lang den Startknopf, sobald
“blow” angezeigt wird oder
während das Testergebnis
zu sehen ist.
Wenn die Atemprobe
erfolgreich abgegeben
wurde, dann erscheint nach
wenigen Sekunden das
Testergebnis in Promille
(g/l) mit 4 Stellen und
3 Dezimalstellen. Promille =
Standardeinstellung in der
EU, in UK wird das Ergebnis
in mg/L und in den USA in
% BAC angezeigt. Die Mess-
genauigkeit beträgt +/- 0,10
Promille mit Referenz zu
0,50 Promille.
Das Gerät schaltet sich
ca. 15 Sekunden nach
Beginn der Testergebnis-
Anzeige automatisch aus,
gleichzeitig ertönt ein Piep-
Ton und es wird “Out” am
Display angezeigt.
Bitte beachten:
Warten Sie nach dem letzten Schluck Alkohol mindestens
15 Minuten bis zum Atemtest, ansonsten verfälscht Restalko-
hol in Ihrer Mundhöhle das Ergebnis.
Aus hygienischen Gründen und zur Gewährleistung eines
zuverlässigen Messergebnisses sollten Sie für jeden Test
ein neues Mundstück verwenden.
*Wenn Sie den Startknopf länger gedrückt halten, dann
sehen Sie die Anzahl aller mit dem Gerät durchgeführten
Tests (die Zählung startet nach jeder Kalibrierung neu)
und außerdem “nor” (= Numerischer Modus).

Conducting a test:
A. If you use the breathalyzer for the first time, then push the
battery compartment cover on the back downwards. Remove
the small paper inside the battery compartment (this paper
prevents the 2 inserted batteries from discharging). Close the
battery compartment cover again.
B. Insert a mouthpiece into the mouthpiece slot on the right
side of the breathalyzer.
After a few seconds you see
“blow” on the display (additio-
nally the device beeps twice).
As soon as you can see “blow”,
start blowing into the mouth-
piece. The device will start
beeping when you start blowing.
Keep blowing steadily until the
beeping stops. At the end of the
test you can hear a “tic-tac”
tone. Tip: Blow like you would
whistle (without a break).
Push the power button* for
about 2 seconds until you
hear a beep sound.
After pushing the power
button the device warms
up and a countdown starts.
To put the device off manual-
ly press the power button for
about 2 seconds when you
see „blow“ on the display or
during the time the test result
is shown on the display.
The test result is displayed
after a few seconds. It
shows a 4 digit (3 decimals)
readout of your blood
alcohol level in per mill
(g/L). Per mill is the default
setting for the usage in the
EU (in UK the default setting
is mg/L and in the USA it is
% BAC). The accuracy of
this device is +/- 0.10 per
mill (g/L) at 0.50 per mill.
The device puts itself off
automatically approx. 15
seconds after showing the
test result, additionally you
hear a beep sound and
you will see “Out” on the
display.
Please note:
Wait at least 15 minutes after finishing your last drink.
From hygiene reasons and for accurate measurement
results always use a new mouthpiece for each test.
*If you keep pushing the power button, you can see the
number of total tests counted (starting with zero after a
calibration) and „nor“ (normal mode: numerical display
mode) on the display.
