SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
•Before using the Portable JetBlack unit

oCheck thesupply cable fornicks andcuts (regularly check thecable toensure it is ingood
condition).
oEnsure that thecorrect supply voltage is available before switchingontheunit.
oIt is recommendedthat theunit be connectedtoanelectricalsupply that is surge protected
andincompliance withlocalcodes.
oThe unit is fittedwitha suitable plug witha 13ampfuse.
oThere arenoserviceable parts in the fanunit.
oNeverpull theunit by theelectricalsupplycable orthehose.
GeneralSafety
oDo not use ina wet environment.
oThe on/off switchis locatedbehindthe carryinghandle onthe blowerunit.Press “I” toturn
the unit on,and“O” toturntheunit off.
oEnsure that theunit stands levelonthe fourplastic feet provided.
oIf theunithas beenfittedwithaspeedcontroller,adjust the speedtoyourdesiredlevel.
oDon’t remove any guarding orthe flexible hose at any time.
oDon’t allow objects topass throughthe guardwhilst thefanis rotating.
oAlways switchoff theunit at themainelectricalsupply anddisconnect theplugbefore
cleaning the JetBlack.
oDon’t use a pressure washerorsteamwashertocleantheunit.
oEye protectionshouldbeusedatall times whilst operating the unit.
oThe JetBlack has a thermalshut-off device forsafety purposes.Prolongeduse may cause the
unit toshut-off.Inthis case,switchtheunit off andwait fora few minutes before re-use.
