These instructions cover the installation, replacement and configuration of the AX-CTY module.
The AX-CTY is a module providing connection of Advanced Axis
AX
panels to a Local Energy Masterbox. The AX-CTY
module connects to any dedicated notification appliance circuit of an Axis
AX
panel installation (AX-LPD/AX-NAC
module or SLC loop NAC module).
Caution: Before installing or removing any module, remove all sources of power (AC and Battery).
Installing & Replacing the AX-CTY Module:
Installation:
Remove the AX-CTY module from its shipping package. Place in a standard electrical back box and wire to a
dedicated NAC circuit and Local Energy Masterbox.
Note: The AX-CTY module can be placed inside a standard electrical box with or without the AX-NACM (SLC
loop module).
Replacement:
Replacement is as simple as disconnecting the flying-leads of the AX-CTY module, that connect it to the dedicated
NAC circuit and Local Energy Masterbox, and reconnecting the removed field wiring to the new AX-CTY module.
AX-CTY Module Wiring:
The Red and Black flying- leads get wired to a dedicated notification appliance circuit (NAC), + and - respectively.
The two White flying-leads get wired to the Local Energy Masterbox trip coil (orange wires).
The NAC circuit must be programmed to activate on general alarm and be non-silenceable.
POWER LIMITED – Connect to power limited circuits only.
