These instructions cover the installation and replacement of the AX-PSU-6, Power Supply Charger Module.
Refer to separate wiring diagrams and manuals for additional system module installation wiring, operation and
programming functions.

Caution: Before installing or removing any printed circuit boards remove all sources of power (AC and
battery).
This equipment is constructed with static sensitive components. Observe anti-static precautions
at all times when handling printed circuit boards. Wear an anti-static ground strap connected to
panel enclosure earth ground.
Installation (see figure 1):
[1] Place the AX-PSU-6, Power Supply Charger Module, over the four (4) standoffs located on the right side of the
back box below the AX-CTL base card or below a previously installed AX-PSU, AX-PSU-6 and secure with the four (4)
provided screws.
[2] Connect the provided Molex connector cable into the available Molex connector on the AX-ACB, AC Board, and
wire the Hot, Neutral and Ground wires to the AC terminal block located on the AX-PSU-6 module.
[3] Wire AX-PSU-6 as indicated in figure 1, and in the product manuals.
Note: If there are no available Molex connectors on the AX-ACB, AC Board, remove the Molex connector on
the cable and wire directly to the AC input terminals of the AX-ACB, AC Board, or previous AX-PSU-6, Power
Supply Charger Module.
Replacement (see figure 1):
[1] Remove the AC, battery, 24 VDC output and relay trouble contact wiring from the AX-PSU-6, Power Supply
Charger, terminal block.
[2] Remove the four (4) screws securing the AX-PSU-6, Power Supply Charger Module, to the back box and remove
the AX-PSU-6 module.
