Using the call back feature

1.Calling back outgoing calls: The unit can store up to 20 outgoing
numbers (each number can be up to 18 digits)
2.Calling back incoming calls: The unit can store up to 66
incoming numbers (each number can be up to 16 digits)

Carefully read the instructions in this manual.
Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the unit.
When cleaning, unplug the telephone jack from the wall outlet. Use
a damp cloth. use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
Do not use this equipment near water, eg: near a kitchen sink,
bathtub, washbowl, laundry rub, swimming pool or in a wet
basement.
Install in a protected location. Ensure all lines and cords are away
from foot traffic. place objects on the line cord that may
cause damage or abrasion.
Avoid spilling any liquid on the unit. This may cause internal
shorting, fire or shock and is not covered under your warranty.
Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result
in the risk of fire or electrical shock.
Never push objects of any kind into this telephone as they can
touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could result
in a risk of fire or electrical shock.
Take the phone to a qualified technician when it requires repair
work or service. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not
disassemble the telephone. Opening or removing covers can
expose you to dangerous voltages or other risks. Incorrect re-
assembly can cause electrical shock during subsequent use.
Avoid using the telephone during an electrical storm. There can be
a slight risk of electrical shock from lightning.

In standby mode: In this mode, the LCD will show the total number of
calls, date and the real time.
When a new call is received, the icon will
appear and flash on the LCD. After it has been reviewed, the icon
will disappear.
: If the call comes repeatedly, the icon will appear.
: When a new call is coming or when you are
reviewing the incoming numbers, the icon and the call sequence
will show on the LCD.
: When you are reviewing the outgoing
numbers, the icon and the call sequence will show on the LCD.
: If the caller has exercised the option to prevent his
number from being sent, the will be shown on the LCD.
: When someone calls from an area where the
telephone company is not offering the caller identification services or
an area that is not yet providing number delivery to your area via the
long distance network. In this state the LCD will show .
: If the phone can not recognize the information within the caller
display messages, it will show instead of the message.

The Caller ID phone requires three 1.5V AA size batteries (not supplied)
to keep the information stored in the phone.
1. Remove the battery cover from the back of your Caller ID phone
2. Insert three 1.5V AA size batteries by observing the +/- polarity
marked in the compartment.
3. Replace battery compartment cover.
Plug one end of the supplied modular cord into the line jack. Then plug
the other end into telephone wall line jack.

"0", the phone will dial out the IP code first.

This unit has the following special settings:
In the on-hook state, press button to enter the setting mode and
the LCD shows
Press button again to enter the time &
date setting mode and the digits for year will flash, use or
button to select the desired number, press button to confirm and
enter the next item. The setting sequence is YEAR--MONTH--DAY--
HOUR--MINUTE. (When the date has been set, the matching week day
will automatically show on the middle line). When the setting is
finished you can press button to confirm and enter the next setting
mode automatically. The LCD will show
In some countries, if you have to call somebody
living in your city area (phone district) you do not have to dial the
related area code. With this feature you can set up your area code in
order to avoid its dialing every time you call back somebody using a
number from incoming calls list.

these settings in sequence as following steps:

SETTINGS WALL MOUNTING
1. If you would like to put your phone on the desktop, please install
the bracket as figure 1.
2. If you prefer to mount the phone on the wall, please remove the
bracket and do the following steps as figure 2.
a. Install the two self-tapping screws (not supplied) at a distance of
67mm from each other and located on a horizontal line.
b. Slowly slide the unit down until it snaps into place.

You can store 3 telephone numbers in the one-touch memory.
In on-hook state:
1. Press or button to select the incoming number or button
repeatedly to select the outgoing number you desire or input the
telephone number manually.
2. Press the button and the LCD shows .
3. Press the desired location button ( ~ ) to store the number.
: To update the number stored in the one-touch memory, just
repeat above steps to store a new number to replace the old one.
Either in on-hook or off-hook state, you can press one of the memory
button ( ~ ) to dial out the matching number.
This feature allows you to insert a temporary pause during dialling
sequence. For example, dialling an international number (e.g.: 011-
886-22-795-1234), some telephone company systems will not register
the entire number entry without a pause between the prefix numbers.
You may have to dial 011- , dial 886 - . This allows adequate
time for the phone number to register with the telephone company's
system and complete the call.
Press button to terminate a call and institute a dialling tone for
another call or to get another call from "Call Waiting" (a special
telephone service).
If you do not have any special telephone service, such as Call
Waiting, pressing button during a call may disconnect your
current conversation.

Set the ringer volume switch to the desired position ( / / ). To
have the maximum ringer volume, move the ringer volume switch to
the position. To have a low ringer volume, move the ringer volume
switch to the position. If you would prefer the ringer not to disturb
you, move the ringer volume switch to the position.
In the standby mode, pre-dial the telephone number you want to call
(you can check the number before dialing and use button to
delete the incorrect digit), then press button to dial it out.
To switch your call to speakerphone, press the button and replace
the handset in the cradle. To switch back, just pick up the handset. In
speaker state, you can make or answer calls.
Lift the handset or press the button, then press the button
to redial the last dialled number.
In the standby mode, press the button to enter the menu.
In the on-hook state, press the button to delete the incorrect digit
when you set the code. In menu mode, use the button to exit from the
menu. When the LCD shows the CID number, press the button to
delete the record. If you hold the button for more than 3 seconds, all
the CID numbers will be deleted.
