Safety Precautions
Laser Precautions
Warning: The laser light used to transmit information over optical ber cables can cause severe eye
damage. Because this light is invisible, it will not cause the iris of the eye to contract involuntarily as when
viewing a bright visible light, and no pain is felt as the retina is burned.
Never look into the end of a ber or connector which may have a laser coupled to it. Should accidental
eye exposure to laser light be suspected, arrange for an eye examination immediately.
General Precautions
Personnel must be thoroughly familiarized with all applicable Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)
regulations, local regulations, and your company safety practices and policies.
Warning: To reduce the chance of accidental injury:
Before work begins, all personnel must be thoroughly familiar with the operation of all equipment
and procedures to be used during the installation.
Before use, all equipment, especially safety gear, must be inspected and tested for proper operation.
Replace and repair as necessary.

Side Bracket Position Change / Re-Assembly
The housing is supplied with the side brackets attached as standard. Should you need to change the
position of the brackets, or disassemble and re-assemble the housing, please refer to the diagram above.
Note: Side brackets for front door and rear management mounting.

The housing is supplied assembled as standard. Should you need to disassemble and re-assemble the housing,
please refer to the diagram above.

Front Door Removal
The housing features an easily removable front door that includes a pair of spring-loaded lugs that can rapidly
disconnect the door from the housing.
Note: Door does not come with label attached, select desired label and afx as needed.

Using the Cassette
Cassettes can be locked and unlocked using the latch shown above.
Cassettes can be installed or removed from the front or the rear of the housing with no tools required.

Integrated Rear Cable Management
The rear management tray can be adjusted up and down to provide open access to the rear of the cassettes.
Cable can be tied to the rear of the cable management bar. A small loop of cable should be left to allow
movement of the cassette when required.
