Thismanualprovidesinformationontheintendeduseof
yourmachineundertheconditionsforeseenbytheman-
ufacturerduringnormaloperation,routineserviceand
maintenanceandperiodicserviceandmaintenance.
Normaloperationisuseofthemachineforthepurpose
intendedbythemanufacturerbyanowner/operatorwho
isfamiliarwiththeunit,andwhoiscomplyingwiththe
informationonoperationandsafepractices,providedin
thismanualandbythedecalsonthemachine.
Normaloperationincludessuchactionsaspreparingthe
unitforstorageandremovingtheunitfromstorage,rais-
ingandloweringcomponentsintooroutofworkposition,
adjustingthemachinesettingsforspeciceldsettings,
etc.
Routineserviceandmaintenancearethoseactionswhich
mustbeperformeddailytomaintainproperthemachine
functionbyanowner/operatorwhoisfamiliarwiththema-
chinecharacteristics,andwhoiscomplyingwiththeinfor-
mationonroutineserviceandsafepracticesinthisman-
ualandinthedecalsontheunit.
Routineserviceandmaintenanceincludessuchactions
asfueling,cleaning,washing,toppingoffuidlevels,
greasing,andreplacingconsumablearticlessuchas
lampbulbs.
Periodicserviceandmaintenancearethoseactions
whichmustbeperformedatregularlydenedintervalsto
maintainpropermachinefunctionbyanowner/operator
whoisfamiliarwiththemachinecharacteristics,andwho
iscomplyingwiththeinformationonperiodicserviceand
safepracticesinthismanualandinthedecalsonthe
unit.
Periodicserviceandmaintenanceincludessuchactions
aschecking,cleaningandchangingairlters,changing
engineoilandlters,changinghydraulicoilandlters,
changingwheelhubuids,changingcoolant,etc.
Someactionsintheperiodicserviceandmaintenance
chartarebeyondtheknowledgeandskillsoftheowner/
operator:forexample,enginevalveadjustment,fuelin-
jectornozzles.Fortheseactions,themanualinstructs
theowner/operatortohavetheactionperformedbytheir
authorizeddealer.
Thismanualdoesnotcontainalltheinformationrelated
toperiodicalserviceandmaintenance,convertingandre-
pairstobecarriedoutbyprofessionalservicepersonnel.
Theseactionsrequirespecialfacilities,technicalskills,
and/ortoolswhicharenotsuppliedwiththemachine.
Convertingischangingthemachinecongurationfora
speciccroporsoilconditionandrequiresrebuildingor
addingcomponentstothevehicle.Repairingisthedis-
assemblyandassemblyofthemachinetorestoreproper
operationafteracomponentfailureordegradationofper-
formance.

improvesafety,accuracyandreliabilityofthesystem.
Readandfollowthemaintenancescheduleinthisman-
ual.Asadditionaltechnologybecomesavailable,the
ownerisresponsibleforimprovingthesafety,accuracy
andreliabilityoftheapplicator.

andbuilttogovernmentemissionsstandards.Tampering
bydealer,customers,operatorsandusersisstrictlypro-
hibitedbylaw.Failuretocomplycouldresultingovern-
mentnes,reworkcharges,invalidwarranty,legalaction
andpossibleconscationofthemachineuntilreworkto
originalconditioniscompleted.Enginerepairsmustbe

thorizedattachmentsareintendedtobeusedtohandle
silageandchannelthematerialintosilagebags.Any
otherusesincluding,butnotlimitedto,towingtrailers,
vehiclesorimplementsarenotrecommended.Anyma-
chinedamageresultingfromunauthorizedusesorinstal-
lationand/oruseofunauthorizedequipmentisnotcov-
eredbythemachinewarranty.
DONOTusethismachineforanypurposeorinanyman-
nerotherthanasdescribedinthemanual,decals,or
otherproductsafetyinformationprovidedwiththema-
chine.Thesematerialsdenethemachine'sintended
use.
Useonlyapprovedaccessoriesandattachmentsde-
signedforyourmachine.
ConsultanauthorizedAG-BAGdealeronchanges,
additionsormodicationsthatcanberequiredforthis
machinetocomplywithvariouscountryregulationsand

Interferencemayariseasaresultofadd‐onequipmentthatmaynotnecessarilymeettherequiredstandards.As
suchinterferencecanresultinseriousmalfunctionoftheunitand/orcreateunsafesituations,youmustobserve
thefollowing:
•Themaximumpowerofemissionequipment(radio,telephones,etc.)mustnotexceedthelimitsimposedbythe
nationalauthoritiesofthecountrywhereyouusethemachine
•Theelectro‐magneticeldgeneratedbytheadd‐onsystemshouldnotexceed24V/matanytimeandatanylo-
cationintheproximityofelectroniccomponents
•Theadd‐onequipmentmustnotinterferewiththefunctioningoftheonboardelectronics

thecenterofgravityofthemachine.Themachinecan
tiporrolloverwhennearditchesandembankmentsor
unevensurfaces.
Neverpermitanyoneotherthantheoperatortorideon
themachine.
Neveroperatethemachineundertheinuenceofalcohol
ordrugs,orwhileyouareotherwiseimpaired.
Whendiggingorusingground-engagingattachments,be
awareofburiedcables.Contactlocalutilitiestodetermine
thelocationsofservices.
Payattentiontooverheadpowerlinesandhangingobsta-
cles.Highvoltagelinesmayrequiresignicantclearance
forsafety.
Hydraulicoilordieselfuelleakingunderpressurecan
penetratetheskin,causingseriousinjuryorinfection.
•DONOTuseyourhandtocheckforleaks.Useapiece
ofcardboardorpaper.
•Stoptheengine,removethekey,andrelievethepres-
surebeforeyouconnectordisconnectuidlines.
•Makesurethatallcomponentsareingoodcondition.
Tightenallconnectionsbeforeyoustarttheengineor
pressurizethesystem.
•Ifhydraulicuidordieselfuelpenetratestheskin,seek
medicalattentionimmediately.
•Continuouslongtermcontactwithhydraulicuidmay
causeskincancer.Avoidlongtermcontactandwash
theskinpromptlywithsoapandwater.
Keepclearofmovingparts.Looseclothing,jewelry,
watches,longhair,andotherlooseorhangingitemscan
becomeentangledinmovingparts.
Wearprotectiveequipmentwhenappropriate.
DONOTattempttoremovematerialfromanypartofthe
machinewhileitisbeingoperatedorwhilecomponents
areinmotion.
Makesurethatallguardsandshieldsareingoodcon-
ditionandproperlyinstalledbeforeyouoperatethema-
chine.Neveroperatethemachinewithshieldsremoved.
Alwayscloseaccessdoorsorpanelsbeforeyouoperate
themachine.
Dirtyorslipperysteps,ladders,walkways,andplatforms
cancausefalls.Makesurethesesurfacesremainclean
andclearofdebris.
Apersonorpetwithintheoperatingareaofamachinecan
bestruckorcrushedbythemachineoritsequipment.DO
NOTallowanyonetoentertheworkarea.
Raisedequipmentand/orloadscanfallunexpectedlyand
crushpersonsunderneath.Neverallowanyonetoenter
theareaunderneathraisedequipmentduringoperation.
Neveroperatetheengineinenclosedspacesasharmful
exhaustgasesmaybuildup.
Beforeyoustartthemachine,besurethatallcontrolsare
inneutralorparklockposition.
Starttheengineonlyfromtheoperator’sseat.Ifyou
bypassthesafetystartswitch,theenginecanstartwith
thetransmissioningear.Donotconnectorshortacross
terminalsonthestartersolenoid.Attachjumpercables
asdescribedinthemanual.Startingingearmaycause
deathorseriousinjury.
Alwayskeepwindows,mirrors,alllighting,and
Slow-MovingVehicle(SMV)emblemcleantoprovidethe
bestpossiblevisibilitywhileyouoperatethemachine.
Operatecontrolsonlywhenseatedintheoperator’sseat,
exceptforthosecontrolsexpresslyintendedforusefrom
otherlocations.
