The values of the tightening torque are shown in the
tablebelow.
2- Connect the vacuum pump with theflarecouplingof
the outdoor unit equipped with a process valve (large
coupling).
3- Start the vacuum pump and check that the needle of
the indicator goes down to -0,1 Mpa (-76 cm Hg).
Thepump shouldrunduring atleast15 minutes.
4 - Before disconnecting the vacuum pump, check that
thevacuumindicator remainsinthesamepositionduring
fiveminutes.
5- Disconnect the vacuum pump andclosetheprocess
valve.
6-Removethecapofthe"GAS"and"LIQUID"valvesand
open them with a hexagonal wrench to free the
R407C containedin the outdoorunit.Putthe caps back.
7 - Check that the linking pipes are sealed. Use an
electronicleak detectorora soapy sponge.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE CHARGE
Adjustmentof the chargemaybeneeded depending on
thelength ofthe linking pipesand ontheindoor unit.
This operation should be done expertly by qualified
personnel and (regrigeration engineer). The additional
charge is to be added through the process valve of the
flarecoupling of theoutdooorunit(large coupling).
Anyactiononthe coolingcircuits requirestocomplywith
theCECOMAF GT1-001 recommendations.(relatedto
thedischarge ofR407C intotheatmosphere).

This appliance is meant to be permanently connected
witha fixed cable.

The connection is made with the outdoor unit after
removalofpanelA (Fig.13).

AIR RENEWAL
- Lateralports allowto installseparated ducts forfresh
airsuccionanddiscarge in a neighbouring room.
- Remove the anti-condensation insulation and the
prepunchedsheetmetaloftheportsbyusingapiercer:
BE CAREFUL not to damage the heat exchanger
located at the rear.
- Fill the space between the ducts and the edge of the
portswith anti-condensation insulation.Usematerials
resistingat a temperatureof60°C when theappliance
isincontinuousoperation.
- Theductscanbeflexiblewithaspring coreor acore of
corrugated aluminum, insulated at the outside
(glassfibers12to25 mmthick).
- Whentheinstallationisfinishedallductsurfacesshould
be anti-condensation insulated (expanded
polystyrene,expandedneoprene,6mmthick).
NON RESPECT OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS
WILL CAUSE CONDENSATES

- Dischargingairinaneighbouringroomrequirestoclose
one or two discharge louvers corresponding with the
ducts.
- Adecompression grille should beinstalledonthe wall
between the air conditioned room (where the air
treatment unit is located) and the neighbouring room
(Fig. 18).
