KIDDO™ is a positioning chair that is perfect for therapy and fun as well as other
daily activities such as learning or taking meals. The device can be used at home,
school, kindergarten or in a group of peers. KIDDO™ turns out to be an
indispensable tool in the rehabilitation process, both in terms of therapy and
social integration.

This positioning chair provides the child with proper support and safety,
moreover, it can be easily adjusted to meet your child's needs and dysfunctions.
Pelvic belt, headrest, height adjustable seat and armrests further enhance
comfort and safety of the user. It is made of user-friendly materials. Available in

The instruction manual contains basic information necessary to properly prepare the
chair before use, use the chair, maintain and clean the chair.
This user manual should be kept in an easily accessible place. The manual is intended for
people who look after disabled users, as well as for doctors and physiotherapists
handling the chair. Before using the chair for the first time, the user (or caregiver) is
obliged to familiarize himself/herself with the user manual.
1. THE PURPOSE OF USER MANUAL
The device is recommended for people in the following cases:
§Brain and spinal cord injuries with lower limbs paralysis and weakness, balance and motor
coordination disorders with different etiology.
§Meningocele.
These medical devices are intended for people with orthopedic, neurological and cardiological diseases
and for people after surgery, with musculoskeletal dysfunctions, who have not acquired the ability to sit
independently or who have difficulties in adopting and maintaining the sitting position.
Both for flaccid people with reduced muscle tone and for people with spasticity. The device can also be
really useful for people who require long-term relief of one or both lower limbs. It is an irreplaceable aid in
the rehabilitation process, both in terms of movement and social integration. The device is great help during
everyday activities such as rehabilitation but also during playing, studying or having meals. The selection of
the appropriate size of the device depends on medical indications and anatomical parameters, regardless
of the age of the user.
§Cerebral palsy – various types and forms.
§Demyelinating disease (e.g. multiple sclerosis - SM).
§Degeneration and neurological diseases.
§After head and spinal cord injuries and spine trauma with paralysis and paresis.
Contraindications for sitting
§Untreated deep vein thrombosis;
§Hemodynamic instability;
§Muscles diseases with weakness and paralysis (dystrophy, myasthenia gravis, myositis).
§Unstable fractures with specific orthopedic recommendations, including spine fractures;
§Identified brain dysfunction when sitting upright;
§Critical condition of the user;
§Severe arthritis of the cervical spine;
§Pulmonary embolism;
§Recent myocardial infarction in the last 24 hours;
§Genetic disorders.
§Deep sedation;
§Fresh postoperative wounds or non-healing wounds in the back area, pelvic girdle area, hip joints and
thighs;
§Paralysis;
§Users with mental disorders should not be left in the device without the supervision of a caregiver.
§Other condition connected with muscles weakness, paralysis and musculoskeletal disorders.

5.1 SEAT
5.2 BACKREST
Loosen the knobs to adjust the .Bbackrest tilt angle The adjustment of the
backrest is gradual. backrestAfter adjusting the , tighten the knobs
firmly.
Loosen the A knobs to adjust the seat depth. Knobs can be found under
the seat. After adjusting the seat, tighten the knobs firmly.

In case the backrest is inclined significantly (level 3 or 4) or the user has a
tendency to “swing” on the chair, it is recommended to mount the skis
(accessory) which will stabilize the chair and prevent it from tipping
over.
5.3 ARMREST
Use the knobs C to adjust the height of the armrests. Before mounting the
tray on the armrests, set the armrests at the same height, parallel to the
ground. Lowering the armrests will make it easier to place a child on the chair.
After adjusting the armrests, tighten the knobs firmly!

Do not lift the chair by the armrests, regardless of whether the user is
sitting on it or not.

In case the tilt-in-space function is being used or the user has a tendency
to “swing” on the chair, it is recommended to mount the Skis KDO_014
which will stabilize the chair and prevent it from tipping over. Before
using the chair, make sure that all the knobs and fastenings of the
adjustable elements are firmly tightened

Use the screws D to adjust the height of the chair. The chair's legs should be
positioned symmetrically on both sides of the chair. frameAfter adjusting the ,
tighten the knobs firmly.
Tilt is a space function is available thanks to the legs height adjustment.
While the seat tilt is more than 7,5 ° we strongly recommend use the chair
with Skis KDO_014.

W celu regulacji szerokości zagłówka
należy poluzować wskazane śruby za
pomocą klucza imbusowego (fot.13),
ustawić zagłówek w wybranej pozycji,
mocno dokręcić śruby. Należy upewnić
się, czy zagłówek jest zablokowany.

6.4.2. ADJUSTMENT OF THE HEADREST
Zagłówek można regulować w 3 płaszczyznach - regulacja wysokości i głębokości
(fot.13,14) oraz szerokości zagłówka (fot.15,16). Dzięki modułowej konstrukcji istnieje także
możliwość dopasowania zagłówka do kształtu głowy użytkownika. Pomaga to
w prawidłowym ustawieniu głowy i poprawia komfort użytkowania. Odpowiednio
ustabilizowana i podparta głowa znacząco obniża napięcie mięśni szyi/karku.
