INTRODUCTION
Stable structure of the stroller, belts and supports system as well as reflective elements
make the user feel safe. The backrest can be easily bend back and adjustable push
handle increases the stroller maneuverability.
With simple and light construction it can be easily folded for transporting purposes.
Furthermore, relatively small size allows you to fit ULISES EVO™ into an undersized car
trunk.
ULISES EVO™ is a perfect stroller designed for daily rehabilitation of children and youth
with locomotor dysfunctions. It is particularly useful for users requiring additional
stabilization.
The stroller has adjustable seat depth and backrest tilt angle which greatly facilitates its
functionality.
Rich equipment and wide range of adjustments make ULISES EVO™ fit easily to
theindividual needs.

1. THE PURPOSE OF USER MANUAL
The user manual contains basic information necessary to properly: prepare the stroller
before use, use the stroller, maintain and clean the stroller.
This user manual should be kept in an easily accessible place. The manual is intended for
people who look after disabled users, as well as for doctors and physiotherapists handling
thestroller.

Before using ULISES EVO for the first time, the user (or caregiver) is obliged to familiarize
himself/herself with the user manual.
§Muscles diseases with weakness and paralysis (dystrophy, myasthenia gravis, myositis).
§Other condition connected with muscles weakness, paralysis and musculoskeletal disorders.
Contraindications for sitting
§Deep sedation;
Both for flaccid people with reduced muscle tone and for people with spasticity. The device can also be
really useful for people who require long-term relief of one or both lower limbs. It is an irreplaceable aid in
the rehabilitation process, both in terms of movement and social integration. The device is great help during
everyday activities such as rehabilitation but also during playing, studying or having meals. The selection of
the appropriate size of the device depends on medical indications and anatomical parameters, regardless
of the age of the user.
The device is recommended for people in the following cases:
§Brain and spinal cord injuries with lower limbs paralysis and weakness, balance and motor
coordination disorders with different etiology.
§Cerebral palsy – various types and forms.
§Demyelinating disease (e.g. multiple sclerosis - SM).
§Meningocele.
§Genetic disorders.
These medical devices are intended for people with orthopedic, neurological and cardiological diseases
and for people after surgery, with musculoskeletal dysfunctions, who have not acquired the ability to sit
independently or who have difficulties in adopting and maintaining the sitting position.
§Degeneration and neurological diseases.
§After head and spinal cord injuries and spine trauma with paralysis and paresis.
§Paralysis;
§Critical condition of the user;
§Untreated deep vein thrombosis;
§Hemodynamic instability;
§Identified brain dysfunction when sitting upright;
§Severe arthritis of the cervical spine;
§Pulmonary embolism;
§Recent myocardial infarction in the last 24 hours;
§Fresh postoperative wounds or non-healing wounds in the back area, pelvic girdle area, hip joints and
thighs;
§Unstable fractures with specific orthopedic recommendations, including spine fractures;

5.1 UNFOLDING THE STROLLER
1. (fig. 1).Unlock the safety lock which prevents the stroller from unfolding
2. Pull the push handle back until the stroller is fully unfolded and the locking
mechanism clicks (fig. 2).

To stabilize the feet, place them on

In order to block or unblock the wheels, move the red element located at the rear
axle of the wheels (fig. 18):

Pulling the strap without pushing the backrest first may damage the backrest
angle adjustment. Pay special attention in case when the user is in the stroller and
is leaning against the backrest.
Adjustment of the backrest tilt angle is gradually. Before the use of the stroller
make sure that the retaining pin is placed in hole and the backrest is locked
2. Lower the backrest extension height adjuster to the desired height. It will block
the backrest extension (fig. 25).
1. Grasp the backrest extension on both sides and pull it upwards to the desired
height. This will cause the backrest extension height adjuster to move (fig. 24).

Before using the stroller, check if the backrest extension height adjuster
isproperly lowered on both sides of the backrest.
1. Loosen the holder located at the both side of the seat frame (fig. 26).
4. Set the desired depth of the seat, tighten the screws, fasten the seat buckles
behind the footrest and fasten the velcro elements.
2. Unbuckle the seat buckles behind the footrest (fig. 27) and lift the calf support
flap up.
3. Detach the Velcro elements of the upholstery located under the seat and behind
the backrest (fig. 28 - 29).

To decrease the seat depth, after reaching its maximum position, push
theretaining pins inside the frame.
Maximum depth setting of the seat is indicated by the retaining pins coming into
holes located at the both side of the seat frame (fig. 30).
