IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
The use of electrical appliances always requires compliance with general safety precautions
in order to reduce the risk of electric shock and/or injury to persons.
A list of such precautions follows:
1. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT.
2. Do not use the product outdoors.
3. Do not immerse the product in water.
4. Check that the power source complies with the specifications marked on the label of
the appliance.
5. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the power cord, the plug or the
motor unit in water or any other liquid.
6. Clean the motor unit only with a dry cloth.
7. Disconnect the appliance from the mains when it is not in use, before assembly or
before removing components and before conducting any cleaning operations.
8. To avoid danger, do not use the product if the power cable or plug are damaged or
if the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any way. Return the appliance
to the nearest authorised service centre for revision or repair, or for any technical or
mechanical adjustment. You can contact the manufacturer Alessi SpA at the mail

10. Be especially careful when the appliance is used near children or used by children
directly.
11. The use of accessories that have not been recommended or supplied by the
manufacturer may cause a fire hazard or cause electric shock or personal injury.
12. Do not allow the cable to hang from the edge of the table or work area. Avoid any
position that could cause one to trip or become ensnared.
13. Do not use adaptors and/or extension cables.
14. Do not pull on the cable when removing the plug from the socket.
15. Avoid any contact between the cable and any hot surfaces, such as hobs.
16. Do not place the product on or near gas or electric burners or a hot oven.
17. After having removed the appliance from its packaging, dispose of the plastic bags
correctly. They may cause hazard for children or invalids.
18. Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended purpose.
19. To disconnect the citrus juicer, wait for the motor to stop, then remove the plug from
the socket.

20. Avoid contact with moving parts.
21. Always disconnect the appliance from the power source when it is unsupervised and
before any assembly, disassembly or cleaning operations.
22. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if
they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord
out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
23. The citrus juicer can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacity or with no experience, provided that they receive adequate supervision and
instruction concerning safe use of the appliance and understand the inherent dangers.
Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
24. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent

MDL07 “Plissé” Electric citrus juicer
This electric citrus juicer, designed by
Michele De Lucchi in 2020, is made
of highly resistant thermoplastic resin.
The product has been tested and cer-
tified to guarantee consumer safety.

ATTENTION!
• This appliance is intended to be
used in household and similar
applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops,
offices and other working
environments;
- small industries and farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and

FIRST USE
After having taken the citrus juicer
out of its packaging, check that
all parts are in perfect condition.
• Lift the removable components
(cover, cone, sieve, container) to
disassemble.
• Wash them with hot water and
washing-up liquid.
• Rinse them carefully and dry well.
• Reassemble the container, sieve
and cone. (fig. 2)
NOTE: Do not immerse the power
cable, plug or motor unit in water or
other liquids. (fig. 3)
USE
• Check that your mains voltage
matches the specifications listed
on the bottom of the citrus juicer
motor unit.
• Ensure that the citrus juicer is in
a stable position on the work top
and is out of the reach of children.
• Unwind the power cable from the
cord wrap (fig. 4)
Be sure that the power cable is not
allowed to hang over the edge of
the work surface. (fig. 5)
• Remove the cover.
• Insert the plug in the power socket
• Place a glass, a cup or other
container under the spout.
• Push the spout down to the OPEN
position.
• Cut the fruit in half so that it can
be easily placed on the cone and
squeezed.
• Use your hand to push down
firmly on the fruit, pressing it
against the cone.
The motor will start automatically,
and the cone will begin to rotate
squeezing the juice out into the
glass.
• Lift your hand to stop the motor.
• To keep juice from trickling down

after use or while changing glass
lift the spout into the CLOSED
position. (fig. 6)
Do not use the appliance for more
than 10 minutes consecutively.
CLEANING
• REMOVE THE PLUG FROM
THE SOCKET.
Clean the appliance immediately
after use to keep any pulp residue
from drying, which would make it
harder to remove.
• Take hold of the container to
disassemble the removable
components and take them to the
sink.
• Disassemble the cone, sieve and
container. (fig. 2)
• Remove any pulp residue from the
sieve.
• Press the spout of the container
down into the CLEANING
position.
The spout can be positioned in three
ways:
OPEN: Press down on the spout to
open the container and allow the
juice to flow into the cup.
CLOSED: Lift the spout upwards to
close the container, so that the
juice doesn’t trickle out.
CLEANING: Press the spout all the
way down in order to clean the
container. (fig. 7)
NOTE: Before the spout can be
lowered into the CLEANING
position the container must be
removed from the motor unit.
The spout cannot be detached from
the container.
• Wash the cone, sieve and container
with hot water and washing-up
liquid.
• Rinse them carefully and dry well.
NOTE: The cone, the sieve and
the container can be washed in the
dishwasher, but place them in the top
rack to avoid contact with the heating
elements.
Also be careful about which
detergents and additives are used
and what temperatures are reached
during the wash cycle
as these factors may damage the
surface finish of the product.
Clean the motor unit with a damp
cloth ONLY.
ATTENTION!
NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR
UNIT IN WATER AND NEVER
RINSE IT UNDER RUNNING
WATER (FIG. 3)
• Before storing the citrus juicer,
wind the cable around the cable
wrap and use the slot provided to
lock it in place. (fig. 4)
IN THE EVENT OF
MALFUNCTION
In the event of a malfunction or when
in doubt, do not use
the citrus juicer and contact your
trusted Alessi retailer.
Advice to help you address some
minor issues
caused by mild distraction is provided
below:
• If the motor does not start:
- Is the power cable plugged into the
mains?
- Does your household mains
voltage match the specifications
listed on the bottom of the motor
unit?

- Did you reassemble the cone, sieve
and container correctly?
- Did you press down firmly on the
cone?
If the problem persists, do not
tamper with the appliance. Refer
to your trusted Alessi retailer.
• If you are unable to reassemble the
container:
- Did you return the spout from the
CLEANING position to the OPEN
or CLOSED position?
• If juice spills over the edge of the
container:
- Did you lower the spout to the
OPEN position?
- Did you check that the filter is not
obstructed by pulp residue?

You may request the following spare
parts from your trusted Alessi retailer
and replace them on your own:

WARRANTY
This product is covered by a two-year
warranty from the moment of sale.
The warranty covers all
manufacturing defect. Any damage
caused by accidental impact or
improper use is therefore excluded.
Alessi declines any responsibility for
damage caused by improper use.

DISPOSAL
At the end of the product’s life cycle,
be sure to dispose of the device
properly by contacting a specific
waste disposal centre.
Disassemble all components to
dispose of them in compliance with
any waste sorting laws that apply in
your country.
Never use force to attempt to open
the motor unit.
WEEE inside the packaging.
FOOD SAFETY
This appliance is made with materials
designed for contact with food products
and is compliant with applicable laws.
