Product Information
Maintenance
Your furniture is manufactured using FSC Pine from Europe. It has been treated with preservative to
protect against decay, giving a life span in excess of ten years.
The swing seat will have knots and other natural features in the timber.
Under normal circumstances Pine cracks; this is due to these natural characteristics, and will not
compromise the strength of your swing seat, which is designed with this in mind.
We strongly recommend a once yearly application of a water repellent preservative such as Cuprinol or
similar, to protect against fungal attack and blackening of the wood. Alternatively, use our timber sealer
available fromAlexander Rose stockists.
Your furniture can be cleaned using soapy water and a stiff brush, allowing it to dry fully before the
application of any timber treatment. More severe stains such as spillages, bird droppings and mildew
etc. can be removed by the use of our cleaner, which is available from all Alexander Rose stockists.
Alternatively, sand using a medium grit sandpaper.

Before starting to assemble your furniture, identify and
count all components for your chosen model, as shown in
the table and drawings below. In the unlikely event that
any components are missing or damaged, please contact
the retailer where you purchased this product.
PLEASE RETAIN THESE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Attach Shelves
Attach Second Chair
Fix Seat Assemblies
Assemble Chairs
Attach the two shelves again noting that the short edges are to the
front and the batons are on the underside. Secure using Two 45mm
bolts for the Top shelf and Two 35mm wood screws for Bottom .
Attach the second chair to the shelves and secure using two
45mm bolts for top shelf and two 35mm wood screws for bottom
shelf. Tighten using the Allen key provided. Turn the companion
set upright noting the important safety advice given below. The
assembly is now complete.
Screw SeatAssemblies (F) to side frames on both
chairs using four 35mm wood screws (K) per chair
Attach side frames to back and seat assemblies
using six 70mm allen bolts per chair.
