Forbetterdrinking:
· Always discard the intial dispensed water as a precaution. This will ensure the integrity of the desired
"strength"levelselected.
· Initially, drink a small amount of level 1 Alkaline water, thereafter increasing level relative to personal
toleranceand understanding ofpersonal need.
· In order to not compromise the integrity of prescribed medicine, ensure "purified water" is selected to
take with any medicine prescribed by an authorized medical practitioner.
· Optimum drinking levels are based on a normal distribution of the populations needs, it is not
recommended by the manufacturer to drink higher than pH 10.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
① For electrical safety
When the unit is imersed into water, pull out the power plug
immediately and then take the unit out of the water.
Avoid an electric circuit overload of an outlet or electric wiring.
Connect the unit power plug to the correspondent AC voltage
outlet.
▶ Ensuring the unit is connected directly and solely to a power supply
will avoid overloading the appliance and reduce risk factor.
Do not touch the power plug with the wet hands when you put it in
or out of a wall outlet.
Completely plug in the power cord for stable fitting.
▶ If the plug-in fitting is not stable, it may cause an electric shock or
fire by overheating.
▶ Do not use a damaged plug or unstable wall outlet.
If the supplied cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, it’s service agent or qualified persons. Please refer
this condition to your seller and enforce manufacturer’s warranty
as per the Warranty Card instructions.
② For stable installation
Do not install the unit in a place of below-freezing temperature
or near any fire source.
▶ Correct environment temperature range: 10 ~ 35°C (50°~95°F)
Correct inflow water temperature: 5 ~ 30°C (41°~86°F)
Do not install the unit in direct sunlight.
▶ Extreme environmental exposure may cause the exterior unit body
to discolor and may cause the entire unit to warp/twist the casing.
This may result in mechanical failure.
Always Install the unit on a horizontally flat surface.
Do not place any heavy thing on the top of the unit.

INSTALLATION
VIEW OF AN INSTALLED UNIT
WALL- MOUNT INSTALLATION
① Vertically attach the provided installation-
guide paper on the intended location of the
wall after slightly pasting the guide paper with
water.
② Drill holes into the wall on the wall stud
position as shown in the guide paper and
insert the screw holders. Screw down the
studs into the screw holders(1Cm length of
the studs over the wall surface is needed.)
③ Mount the unit on the wall, inserting the wall
studs into the backside holes of the unit.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
① Select a solid flat surface with proximity to a power
supplyfordesiredlocation.
② Connect the provided 1/4 ＂ hose to water inlet port firmly.
- In case of one touch fitting type, have water inlet port nozzle put into the hose hole completely
(fasten the safety key thereon after the connection).
- In case of two touch fitting type, screw the nut tightly to ensure a water tight fitting.

③ Connect the hose to acidic water outlet port and cut
the other end of the hose to have sufficient length to
reach the sink for draining away acidic water or for
connectingto an acidicwater bucket.
(Option: Hose-fixation holder can be used for
convenience).
▶ In case the acid water outlet hose is steeped in water in a receptacle or the hose is unnecessarily long, an
outflow rate of ionized water might be suspended . For this reason, maintain a shorter hose length to allow
natural flow rate for drainage.
▶ Do not lift the acidic water outlet hose up to the height of the installed unit.
Otherwise this will hinder the water drain from the unit and may cause internal damage to the unit.

AMS 4000 USAGE OF THE ALKALINE WATER FOLD-DOWN(HIDDEN) TYPE DISPENSER
Handle the dispenser as per the following diagram.
· Lift up the dispenser arm to the height of the unit to have it positioned horizontally.
· Spread alkaline water fold-down(hidden) type dispenser out horizontally & swing the dispenser arm to the front or side
direction horizontally. The dispenser arm has the two stage stretch and can be further extended horizontally if required.

· Bend or spread the flex steel hose with handle type dispenser at your desired point.

HOW TO OPERATE
HOW TO OPERATE-POWER / WATER SUPPLY
1 . Plug in the AC power plug firmly.
2.
Turnonthemainpower . Switchontherightside.
▶ TheunitwillbeepandtheLCDscreenwilldisplaythe
initialmodes
3 . Slowly rotate the operation knob clockwise to
have the water inflow into the unit.
4 . Notice the water inflow rate as shown in the screen and adjust if
necessary.
▶ The water inflow rate is indicated in a numerical value.
▶ The optimum inflow rate is 2.0 litres/min.
▶ Adjust the water inflow rate by using the operation knob.
▶ The screen backlight color will be varied according to the
chosen function and pH level.
HOW TO STOP THE OPERATION
1 . Rotate the operation knob counterclockwise to the
(OFF) position.
2 . The unit will return to standby
mode status.
※ Occasionally there is a “ tick ” sounding noise from inside the unit after stopping the operation.

HOW TO OUTPUT ALKALINE IONIZED WATER
1 . Rotate the operation knob clockwise to have water inflow into
the unit.
2 . Push the alkaline water button and choose the
pHlevelbypushing thebuttonrepeatedly.
▶ Alkaline water comes out from the water outlet
dispenserandacidicwatercomesoutfrom
the lower water outlet hose.
▶ pH level number is alternated in
regular sequence of
1 →2→ 3 →4→ 1 →2→ 3 →4
when you push the
button repeatedly.
▶ The screen backlight color
willvaryaccording to the chosen pHlevel.
When you push the alkaline water button during the purified water mode.
▶ The unit gives the “ Alkaline Strength level 1 ” voice notice.
▶ Alkaline water is generated after the water flow direction alteration valve works.
▶ Alkaline water comes out from the
top water outlet dispenser and acidic

HOW TO OUTPUT ACIDIC IONIZED WATER
1 . Rotate the operation knobclockwise to have a water inflow
into the unit.
▶ Alkaline water mode appears initially
2 . Push the acidic water button for acidic water outlet mode.
▶ The unit gives the Acidic Strength level 1 ” voice notice (in case of pH level 1 mode) and melody.
▶ Alkaline water comes out from the water outlet hose and acidic water comes out from
the top water outlet dispenser.
▶ pH level number is alternated in regular sequence of 1 →2→ 1 → 2 when you
push the button repeatedly.
▶ The screen backlight color will vary according to the chosen pH level.
3 . When you push the acidic water button during the purified water mode.
▶ The unit gives the “ Alkaline strength level 1 ” voice notice and melody.
▶ Acidic water is generated after the water flow direction alteration valve works (about 15 seconds).
▶ Alkaline water comes out from the lower water outlet hose and acidic water comes out from the top water outlet dispenser.
▶ pH level number is alternated in regular sequence of 1 → 2 →1→ 2 when you push the acidic water button repeatedly.
HOW TO STOP THE OPERATION
1 . Rotate the operation knob counterclockwise (OFF)

HOW TO OUTPUT PURIFIED WATER
1 . Purified water only can be operated in a standby mode.(in a
finished condition of flow direction change after closed the
water)
2 . Push the purified water button.(LCD screen will be changed to
purified water)
※ In order to drink purified water during the use of alkaline water
or acidic water, please push the purified water button after
rotated the operation knob counterclockwise(OFF) & operated
flow direction valve
3 . Rotate the operation knob clockwise to have a water inflow into
the unit . (After pushed the purified water button, if operation
knob does not open(ON) within 8 seconds it will be return to
alkaline water standby mode)
4 . The purified water comes out.
▶ The unit gives the “ purified water ” voice notice.
▶ Purified water comes out from water outlet dispenser.
(PLEASE NOTE: No water comes out from the water outlet
hose)
▶ The screen backlight color will be green to indicate the
purified water mode.
HOW TO STOP THE OPERATION
1 . Rotate the operation knob counterclockwise (OFF)
2 . Then the unit will return to
alkaline water standby
mode status.

MELODY ON/OFF & VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
MELODY ON/OFF
1 . Just push the melody button to turn the melody sound on or off.
▶ Push the melody button, and the melody sound will be mute.
▶ Push the melody button once again, and the melody sound will be on with appearance of a melody icon on the LCD Screen.
▶ The melody function works only in the acidic water outlet mode.
▶ A voice guide works even in case the melody sound is off.
2 . MELODY VOICE SPEAKER VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
▶ Pushing the melody button and at the same time push the alkaline button once, twice, Three times - - so on can adjust
the melody sound volume . (The melody voice volume adjustment can be made only when the melody icon appears)

FILTER REPLACEMENT
FILTER REPLACEMENT
1 . Replace the filter when the filter life indicator flickers.
▶ When a filter life is over, the filter life icon flickers and there is a voice guide please replace with a new filter ”
(The voice guide will be one time when you use)
2 . Shut off the water inflow into the unit.
▶ Turn off the operation knob.
3 . Open the filter cover
as shown in the below
pictures.

4 . Disconnect the filter connection terminal, drag the filter handle to the left direction and remove the used filter cartridge.

FILTER REPLACEMENT
5 . Insert the new authorized filter
1 Insert the new filter.
2 Push down the filter and drag the filter handle at the same time.
3 Connect the filter top cable with the filter connection terminal.
※ Water will leak from the filter connection points when the O-ring is damaged or taken off.
Carefully have the O-rings positioned correctly when a filter replacement is made.
6 . Turn off the main power switch and have water inflow into the unit for 2~3
minutes, turning on the operation knob (repeat it 2 or 3 times).
※ After replacing with a new filter, initial outlet water may be dark-colored . Such
a dark-color is caused by an outflow of active carbon fines from the new filter.
The carbon fines (fine size particles) are not harmful for drinking and should
not appear after 2~3 minutes of running water through the unit when turned
off.
7 . Check to ensure there is no water leakage after replacing the filter. Filter life is
automatically displayed when the unit is turned (when you insert the used filter, its
remaining life is displayed) . Close the filter compartment cover.

FILTER REPLACEMENT
Please consider replacing the filter with a new one even if the filter life indicator is not indicating the
replacement timing (Filter life), in the event of the following abnormal conditions:
▶ Noticeable decrease in water outflow from the unit or a strange smell from outlet water. This could indicate
that the filter is clogged due to a higher than expected level of pollutants.
▶ When there is a noticeable change in water.
▶ When the unit has not been used for a substantial amount of time (i.e . 6 months) . Idle filters with trapped
contaminants can encourage bacterial growth. Ensure regular usage to prevent this situation.
※ Afilter lifelengthcanbechanged according to thesource water qualityandunitoperation condition.

The following conditions are the result of NOT using an authentic approved filter:
▶ The unit has the function of self-check of the integrated system before any operation starts.
▶ The voice guide, please insert an authentically approved filter ” is given, and will repeat.
▶ Alkaline ionized water is not generated even if output water comes out.
▶ The filter icon and the disorder icon will continue to flicker in recognition of the incorrect filter.
▶ In that case, please replace with an authentically approved filter and connect with the filter cable terminal.
