Wiring
Please refer to the following diagram to connect power cables and the meter
communication cable.
The local communication cables connecting L1 SMILE5 and L2 SMILE5 is regular
network cables (568B)
NOTE:
1. The EMS firmware version V1.01.97 and its higher versions have this cascading
function. The corresponding DSPfirmware version is V1.43 and its higher versions.
2. Backup Box cannot be used if you use the function of cascading.
3. The SMILE5 connected with L1 is the mater device, the other connected with L2
is the slave device.
4. The LAN1 port of both devices should be connected with the internet.
5. When using the function of cascading, the device does not have the idle mode.
