IMPORTANT:
Thank you for purchasing the Alpkit Viso. Please curtail
your excitement and do not use this product until you have
read, understood, and complied with all the instructions and
warnings contained within this manual.
Introducing your new Viso tent, an
outer pitch first, 3 pole tunnel tent,
ideal for 3 season backpacking

Pull the tent out to form a tunnel shape, peg out the ends
nearest the door before pegging the rest of the tent [Fig 2]

WARNING
This tent is NOT fireproof and will burn in seconds if

Using an additional footprint provides extra protextion if
pitching on rough or boggy ground,
falling rocks and trees, lightning, flash floods, avalanches
exposed to flame or excessive heat.
Ensure the ground is free from sharp objects and rocks
that could damage the groundsheet. Lay out the groundsheet
and peg out the back (preferably into the wind).
Assemble the poles and thread them into the colour coded
sleeves, seat both ends of the poles into the eyelets. [Fig 1] (2)

4. To attach the inner, get inside and work forwards from the
back. Clip the two buckles at the back of the tent before
fastening the yellow toggle on the inner to the yellow loop on
the outer [Fig 3]. Fasten the rest of the rear toggles, working
your way outwards from the middle.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Clean and dry tent thoroughly after each use.
Never use a washing machine or tumble dryer to clean your
tent. Car washes are also frowned upon.
Spot clean with mild detergent and warm water.
Air dry only.
Pack tent carefully to avoid punctures.
Avoid prolonged UV exposure.

leave it hidden in a cupboard, never to see another adventure.
Wash it, pass it on, give to a friend, sell it, donate it to charity,
make it into something else or recycle it and let someone else
live their dream.
FIELD REPAIRS
If you are unlucky enough to rip your tent, duct tape or
StormSure tough tape will do the trick for field repairs.
When you are home and dry, you can repair your tent
properly. Using the Spares kit you can patch up your tent
with more fabric. Remember to seal any seams!
If a pole breaks, use a pole splint or sleeve as a temporary
repair.

Moving forwards, clip two buckles by the door [Fig 4] of the tent
before fastening the red toggle to the red loop in the ceiling.
Fasten the rest of the toggles, working your way outwards until
the whole inner is attached.
For the porchprint, attach the bungee cords to the pegs that are
already in place.
Tension the tent by adjusting the buckles at the pegout points,
peg and tension the guylines as required.
