General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this personal drink mixer (hereafter
referred to as the “drink mixer”), and contains important
information on setup and handling.
Before using the drink mixer, read the user manual carefully. This
particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to do so may result in
personal injury or damage to the drink mixer.
Store the user manual for further use. Make sure to include this user manual
when passing the drink mixer on to third parties.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual, on the
drink mixer or on the packaging.
WARNING! This signal symbol/word designates a hazard
with moderate risk, which may result in
death or severe injury if not avoided.
CAUTION! This signal symbol/word designates a hazard
with low risk, which may result in minor or
moderate injury if not avoided.

Safety
Proper use
The drink mixer is exclusively designed for making smoothies, shakes, mixed
drinks, and crushing ice. It is not suitable for mixing hot liquids. The drink mixer
is only intended for private use and is not suitable for commercial purposes.
A smoothie is a thick blended beverage, normally pureed in a blender
using fresh or frozen fruits or vegetables. They can also contain liquid
ingredients such as water, juice, milk, yogurt etc.
Only use the drink mixer as described in this user manual. Any other use is
considered improper and may result in damage to property or persons.
The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damages or injury
incurred through improper or incorrect use.
Safety instructions
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following.
Read all instructions.
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
A faulty electrical installation, excessive line voltage, or incorrect
operation may result in an electric shock.
− Only connect the drink mixer if the line voltage of the
outlet corresponds to the data on the rating plate.
− To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse
the motor unit, or the power cord in water or other liquids.
− Only connect the drink mixer to an easily accessible outlet
so that you can quickly disconnect it from the power
supply in the event of a problem.
− Do not use the drink mixer if it is damaged or if the power
cord or plug is defective.

− Do not open the housing; instead, have a qualified
professional perform repairs. Contact a qualified
workshop for this. Liability and warranty claims are
waived in the event of repairs performed by the user,
improper connection or incorrect operation.
− If the power cord of the drink mixer is damaged, the
manufacturer, the customer service team or a person with
similar qualifications must replace it to avoid risks.
− Only parts that comply with the original device data
may be used for repairs. This device contains electrical
and mechanical parts which are essential for providing
protection against sources of danger.
− Do not use the drink mixer with an external timer or
separate remote control system.
− Never touch the power plug with wet or damp hands.
− Do not pull the power plug out of the outlet by the cord;
instead, always pull it out by the plug itself.
− Never move, pull, or carry the drink mixer by its power
cord.
− Keep the drink mixer and the power cord away from open
flames and hot surfaces.
− Lay the power cord so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
− Do not kink the power cord and do not lay it over sharp
edges.
− Only use the drink mixer indoors. Do not use the drink
mixer in damp rooms or in the rain.
− Do not place the drink mixer such that there is a risk of it
falling into a tub or sink.
− Never reach to retrieve an electrical device if it has fallen
into water. In such a case, immediately disconnect the
power plug.

− Always switch the drink mixer off and unplug it when
you are not using it, when you intend to clean it, or in the
event of a malfunction.
− This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify
the plug in any way.
− Never insert any objects into the housing.
− Only use original accessories with the drink mixer. The use
of attachments, including canning jars, not recommended
by the manufacturer may cause a risk of injury to persons.

Danger for children and persons with impaired physical,
sensory or mental capacities (e.g., partially disabled
persons, older persons with reduced physical and mental
capacities) or lack of experience and knowledge (e.g.,
older children).
− This drink mixer may be used by persons with impaired
physical, sensory or mental capacities or those lacking
experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have
been instructed in how to safely use the drink mixer and
have understood the risks associated with operating it.
− Children may not use the drink mixer. Keep children away
from the drink mixer and power cord.
− Children may not play with the drink mixer. Cleaning and
user maintenance must not be performed by children.
− Do not leave the drink mixer unattended while in use.
− Make sure that children do not play with the plastic
wrapping. They may get caught in it when playing and
suffocate.

− Keep children away from small parts. Children can swallow
small parts and choke.

− Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
− The drink mixer must always be unplugged when not in
use, before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning.
− Always unplug the drink mixer when changing the
accessories.
− Avoid contacting moving parts.
− Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending
to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to
the drink mixer. A scraoer may be used but must be used
only when the drink mixer is not running.
− Always operate the drink mixer with cover in place.
− Do not blend hot liquids.
− Observe the additional notes in the chapter “Cleaning”.
NOTICE!

Improper handling of the drink mixer may result in damage to
the drink mixer.
− Place the drink mixer on an easily accessible, level, dry,
heat-resistant and sufficiently stable work surface. Do not
place the drink mixer on the edge of the work surface.
− Never place the drink mixer on or near hot surfaces
(stovetops, etc.).
− Ensure that the power cord does not come into contact
with hot parts.

− Never expose the drink mixer to high temperatures
(heaters etc.) or to the effects of the weather (rain etc.).
− Stop using the drink mixer if its plastic parts exhibit cracks
or breaks or are deformed. Only replace damaged parts
with corresponding original spare parts.
− The drink mixer is designed for short operation not
exceeding 1 minute. Let the drink mixer cool off completely
before using it again.
− Never attempt to clean the motor unit of the drink mixer
by immersing it in water and do not use a steam cleaner to
clean it. Otherwise, you could damage the drink mixer.
− Never place the motor unit of the drink mixer in the
dishwasher. It would be destroyed as a result.

Checking the drink mixer and package contents
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a sharp
knife or other pointed object, you may quickly damage the drink
mixer.
− For this reason, be very careful when opening it.
1. Take the drink mixer out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete (see Fig. A).
3. Check whether the drink mixer or individual parts are damaged. If this is the
case, do not use the drink mixer. Contact the manufacturer via the service
address indicated on the warranty card.

Basic cleaning
1. Remove the packaging material and all plastic wrappings.
2. Clean all parts of the drink mixer before first use as described in the chapter
“Cleaning”.
Setting up the drink mixer
1. Unwind the power cord 6to the desired length (see Fig. E).
2. Put the power cord through the cord guide 5.
3. Place the motor unit 4on a level and stable surface.
Make sure that the surface is easy to clean, well-lit, and easily accessible.

− Never add a hot liquid to the drinking cups.
− Do not overfill the drinking cup.
− If you would like to make crushed ice, fill the drinking cup
with ice cubes to no more than ⁄of their capacity. Add
approx. 2tablespoons of water. Never start processing the
ice cubes before adding water.
− To prevent damage to the blade assembly when making
crushed ice, make sure the ice is evenly distributed in the
drinking cup. When needed, take the drinking cup off
of the motor unit, shake the contents to distribute them
properly, and blend them again.
• Some recommended liquid ingredients to use when making
your smoothies are apple or orange juice, milk or even yogurt.
• Some liquids increase in volume and froth during blending
e.g. milk, so do not overfill and ensure the blade assembly is
correctly fitted.

1. Peel, pit and remove seeds from fruit and vegetables.
Preferably, you should use soft, fresh fruit or vegetables.
2. Cut the food into small pieces, about ½ inch (approx. 1.3 cm).
3. Add the prepared food to the drinking cup 2.
4. Add the required liquid ingredients to the drinking cup.
Make sure you do not overfill the drinking cup. The drinking cups have a
measuring scale printed on them for your convenience.

− The blades are very sharp. Be careful when handling the
blade assembly.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the drink mixer may result in damage to
the drink mixer.
− The drink mixer is designed for short operation not to
exceed 1 minute. Let the drink mixer cool off completely
before using it again.
− Do not use the drink mixer to chop dry and hard food
(nuts, coffee beans etc.). Otherwise you could damage the
bearing and the blades.
1. After filling the drinking cup 2with ingredients, screw the blade
assembly 3onto the drinking cup by turning it clockwise. Make sure the
blade assembly has been securely fastened (see Fig. B).
2. Turn the drinking cup, with the blade assembly attached, upside down.
Align the arrow on the side of the blade assembly with the unlocked lock
symbol on the motor unit 4(see Fig. C).

3. Use a small amount of force to push the drinking cup down securely into
the motor unit and then turn it clockwise until the arrow mark on the blade
assembly points to the closed lock symbol (see Fig. D).
4. Plug the drink mixer into a properly installed outlet to turn it on and start
blending the ingredients.
5. To turn off the drink mixer, unplug it.
Removing the drinking cup
CAUTION!

Improper handling of the drink mixer may result in injury.
− The blades are very sharp. Be careful when handling the
blade assembly.
The drinking cups can also be used as to-go cups. Simply screw on
the included drinking cup lid and take your beverage with you.
1. Turn the drinking cup 2counterclockwise, until the arrow mark on the
blade assembly 3points to the open lock symbol.
2. Remove the drinking cup from the motor unit 4and turn the drinking cup
over.
3. Unscrew the blade assembly from the drinking cup by turning it
counterclockwise.
4. Pour your beverage into a glass or screw the drinking cup lid 1onto the
drinking cup, and enjoy!

− The blades are very sharp. Be careful when handling the
blade assembly.

Risk of short circuit!
Water or other liquids that have penetrated the housing may
cause a short circuit.
− Make sure that no water or other liquids penetrate the
motor unit of the drink mixer.
− Never immerse the motor unit of the drink mixer in water
or other liquids.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the drink mixer may result in damage to
the drink mixer.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such
as knives, hard scrapers and the like.
They could damage the surfaces.
− Do not put the motor unit of the drink mixer in the
dishwasher, as this will destroy it.
• Clean the drink mixer after each use.
• Foods or fruits containing acid could cause the plastic to discolor.
Discoloration is normal and does not indicate damage.
1. Unplug the drink mixer before cleaning.
2. Let the drink mixer cool off completely.
3. Clean the motor unit 4with a damp cloth and a small amount of dish
soap.
4. Clean the drinking cups 2, the blade assembly 3and the drinking cup
lid 1with warm water and a small amount of dish soap.
They may also be cleaned in a dishwasher, provided they are only loaded in
the top rack.
5. Use a cloth or soft brush to remove any dirt and dust from the vents of the
motor unit.
6. Wipe all parts completely dry.

7. Tie up the power cord 6properly and store the drink mixer for future use
(see chapter “Storage”).

1. Make sure the drink mixer is unplugged.
2. Clean the drink mixer as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.
3. Store the drink mixer and the accessories in a dry, frost-free location out of
the reach of children. We recommend that you store the drink mixer in its
original packaging or cover it with a suitable cloth to protect it from dust.
