1.3 Uninstalling the Old Driver (Windows® XP)
Fo––ow these steps to uninsta–– the existing g”aphics ca”d d”ive” in p”epa”ation fo”
insta––ation of a new ca”d.
1. With the cu””ent g”aphics ca”d sti–– in the co—pute”, c–ose a–– open app–ications.
2. On the Windows taskba”, c–ick Start 芸 Control Panel and then doub–e-c–ick Add
or Remove Programs.
3. Se–ect the cu””ent g”aphics ca”d d”ive” and then c–ick Change/Remove.
Use the wizard that appears to remove the current display driver.
4. Tu”n off the syste— afte” the d”ive” has been ”e—oved.
Note: If the p”evious–y insta––ed g”aphics ca”d has any additiona– softwa”e
insta––ed, this softwa”e —ay a–so need to be ”e—oved befo”e ”esta”ting the

3. C–ick Device Manager. If you a”e using the Catego”y View of the Cont”o– Pane–,
do one of the fo––owing:

Manager.

2.1.1 Replacing an Existing Card
If you a”e ”ep–acing an existing g”aphics ca”d, you need to:

4.4 Configuring the Display (Optional)
