Recommendations
EN
• AMIBOT Glass XLine is designed for routine cleaning of at
surfaces. The appliance is not intended to replace heavy-duty or
rst-time cleaning.
• AMIBOT Glass XLine is suitable for all types of framed or
frameless at, horizontal or sloped surfaces.
• Do not use AMIBOT Glass XLine on uneven surfaces, such as
frosted, textured, patterned or coated glass. AMIBOT will not
be liable for damage due to incorrect use of the robot on said
surfaces.
• AMIBOT Glass XLine can be used on a surface area of at least
50*50cm.
• AMIBOT Glass XLine must be used on surfaces at least 6mm
thick.
• Please ensure AMIBOT Glass XLine is always plugged in while it
is cleaning.
• AMIBOT Glass XLine has a back-up battery that powers the
robot if it becomes unplugged or the electricity fails.
• The back-up battery must be fully charged before using the
appliance.
• The safety tether must always be attached to the appliance and
xed to a safe place while AMIBOT Glass XLine is in use.
• Do not use the appliance on damp or greasy surfaces.
• Do not use AMIBOT Glass XLine in wet or humid weather.
• Do not use AMIBOT Glass XLine on cracked glass.
• Remove any objects from the appliance's working area before
use (tablecloths, curtains, cables, etc.).
• Please ensure a clearance of at least 10cm between the glass
and any obstacles in the immediate area.
• Do not use the appliance if it is not securely attached to the
surface to be cleaned or if it shows visible signs of deterioration.
• Do not expose the appliance to temperatures below 0°C or
above 40°C.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

• Please switch the appliance o before handling it (manually
moving it, maintenance, storing it away).
• The remote control requires 2 x LR03-type batteries (AAA)
(included).

Assembling the appliance
Attaching the microbre cleaning pad holders
Attaching the cleaning pads
Attach the microbre cleaning pad holders to the appliance's rotating
disks and make sure the fastening notches are lined up.
Attach the cleaning pads to their holders, underneath the appliance
(Figure 1). Make sure they are securely attached and do not restrict
the rotating disks from moving (Figure 2).

Connecting the appliance
Using the extension cord (4 m)
Plug the power adapter cable into the power adapter (Figure 1) then
connect the power plug to the robot. Twist the power plug clockwise
(Figure 2).
NOTES:
• Before using the robot for the rst time, you must charge it for at least 2 hours
to prepare the back-up battery.
• The top indicator light is solid orange when the back-up battery is charging. The
indicator light turns green when the battery is fully charged.
If the power cable length restricts the appliance's movements, the
extension cord can be used (Figure 1).
Connect one end of the extension cord to the power adapter, then
plug the other end into the robot (Figure 2). Twist the plug clockwise
(Figure 3).

Installing the safety kit
The safety kit must be fastened to your appliance, especially if you
wish to clean an outside window or a window at a height (Figure 1).
Attach the safety tether to the robot's fastening system (Figure 2).
Then, fasten the safety tether's karabiner to a secure place to hold
the robot in case of a fall (Figure 3).
NOTES:
• The robot could fall due to a power outage of more than 30min (AMIBOT Glass
XLine back-up battery life).
• Do not use the appliance on a frameless, excessively damp surface and do not
dampen the cleaning pads too much to prevent the robot from falling.

Preparing and using the cleaning pads
The microbre cleaning pads can be used dry to remove the
maximum amount of dirt or damp with a detergent suitable for the
surfaces the robot is going to clean.
Use the two cleaning cycles to eectively clean your surfaces:
1. Start the robot in the dry clean mode rst.
2. Then, change the microbre cleaning pads for the second
cleaning cycle. Only apply the detergent to the bottom cleaning
pad and keep the top cleaning pad dry.
NOTES:
• To ensure optimum suction power, the top cleaning pad must be dry.
• When using detergent on the bottom cleaning pad, make sure it does not
become blocked at the risk of seeing the appliance slip and fall from its surface.

The top green indicator light turns solid when the robot is plugged
in. It means that the robot is charged with electricity and the back-up
battery is fully charged.
NOTES:
• The indicator light is orange if the back-up battery is not fully charged.
• The battery's top indicator light stays solid when the appliance is in use.
• Do not unplug in the appliance while in use because it could fall.
Press the Start/Pause button on
the top of the robot for around
2 seconds. The top indicator
lights are blue and white and the
bottom indicator light is blue.
The motors and ventilators start.
The robot can be placed on the
glazed surface.

Placing the robot on the surface to be cleaned
Starting the robot
Place the appliance on the surface that you wish to clean with a
clearance of at least 10 cm from any obstacle (Figure 1).
Press the Start/Pause button on the appliance (Figure 1) or the Start
button on the remote control (Figure 3). The robot starts its cleaning
cycle (Figure 2).
NOTES:
• The robot must always be plugged in. If the electricity fails, the back-up battery
takes over and keeps the appliance on the surface for 30 minutes maximum.
• Let go of the appliance when it is securely attached to the surface.
• The top indicator lights are blue, green and white and the bottom indicator light
is blue when the appliance is working correctly.

Cleaning routes
AUTO
Thanks to its powerful motors and smart scanning system, the robot
adapts its route to avoid edgeless surfaces and clean all types of
framed or frameless, at, vertical, horizontal or sloped surfaces. The
AUTO mode can be activated via the remote control or the robot.
The other cleaning modes are activated via the remote control.
NOTE: The robot can only be used upside down on framed surfaces, using the
remote control. To do so, place the appliance on the surface you want to clean and
start the cleaning cycle.

Press the Start/Pause button on the robot (Figure 1) or Start/AUTO
(Figure 2) on the remote control. The robot plans its route to cover
the entire surface.
This cleaning mode is suitable for particularly large or horizontal sur-
faces, such as a table.

AUTO Up
AUTO Left
Press the AUTO Up button (Figure 1). The robot moves up the surface
and then moves downwards, covering the entire surface (Figure 2)
Press the AUTO Left button (Figure 1). The robot moves to the left
until it encounters an obstacle. Then, the robot moves downwards
(Figure 2).

Press the AUTO Right button (Figure 1). The robot moves to the right
until it encounters an obstacle. Then, the robot moves downwards
(Figure 2).
You can direct the robot to a specic area using the arrow buttons
on the remote control. The robot therefore moves in the selected
direction until it encounters an obstacle. If you wish to modify the
appliance's route while it is cleaning, press the Pause button then
press the arrows on the remote control.
NOTES:
• To start one of the modes available via the remote control, the appliance must
rst be put into standby mode (Pause button.
• If the appliance detects a loss of suction during its cycle, it beeps and goes in
the opposite direction.

Pausing the appliance
Press the Pause button on the remote control or quickly press the
Start/Pause button on the appliance to pause the robot.
NOTE: When the robot is in AUTO mode, it must be paused (Pause button) before
selecting a dierent cleaning mode.
Stopping the appliance
When the appliance completes its cleaning cycle, it returns to the
bottom of the cleaned surface and beeps.
The robot's cleaning cycle can be interrupted by pressing on the
STOP button on the remote control. The appliance stops where it is.
Removing the robot from the glazed surface
Keep the safety tether in one hand and hold the robot's handle in
the other to safely remove it from the surface. Press the appliance's
Start/Pause button for around 2 seconds so that its motors and
suction ventilation stop.
Switching o the robot
For security measures, the appliance must be switched o and
unplugged when not in use.

Make sure that it is switched o before handling the appliance in any
way.
Microbre cleaning pads
Remove the cleaning pads and
soak them in clean water and
your choice of cleaning product.
Rub them and rinse with plenty
of water. The cleaning pads are
also machine washable at 30°C
maximum.
Wait until they are completely
dry before reusing them.
Cleaning pad holders and rotating disks
Wipe the cleaning pad holders and rotating disks with a dry cloth to
remove any built up debris so the same level of suction is maintained.
