Bedienung
Trocknungsvorgang
1. Verbinden Sie das Gerät über das Netzteil mit dem Stromnetz. Die Kon-
trolllampe (9) leuchtet.
2. Wählen Sie mit dem Schalter (4) den Trocknungsgrad:
- „Low Humidity“ (Schalterstellung links) = 2 Stunden
- „Normal Humidity“ (Schalterstellung mitte) = 4 Stunden
- „High Humidity“ (Schalterstellung rechts) = 8 Stunden
3. Öffnen Sie die Batterieabdeckungen an den Hörgeräten, damit auch die
Batterien getrocknet werden können. Wenn Sie die Batterien während
des Trocknungsvorgangs entfernen, legen Sie sie zur sicheren Aufbe-
wahrung in den magnetisierten Bereich (10). Vergessen Sie bitte nicht,
nach Abschluss des Trocknungsvorgangs die Batterien wieder einzuset-
zen.
4. Legen Sie die Hörgeräte in die Trocknungskammer (1) und schließen Sie
den Deckel.
5. Drücken Sie die Taste „ON/OFF“ (5) um den Trocknungsvorgang zu star-
ten. Die Kontolllampe (6) leuchtet.

Zusätzlich können Sie mit der Taste „REFRESH“ (7) die UV-Beleuchtung
starten. Diese dauert ca. 1 Stunde und kann nach Bedarf mehrmals wie-
derholt werden. Während der UV-Beleuchtung leuchtet die Kontrolllampe
(8). Die UV-Beleuchtung hilft, das Wachstum von Bakterien zu hemmen,
die durch gesteigerte Feuchtigkeit während des normalen Gebrauchs ent-
stehen können.
VORSICHT: Blicken Sie niemals direkt in die beiden UV-Lampen, die sich
an der Vorderseite in der Trockenkammer befinden.
Batterietest
1. Legen Sie die Batterie in den Batterietester (3). Überzeugen Sie sich, dass
der kleinere runde Batteriekontakt (-) auf der goldfarbenen Scheibe liegt.
2. Drücken Sie den Batteriekörper (+) seitlich gegen den goldfarbenen Kon-
takt.
3. An der Anzeige können Sie den Zustand der Batterie erkennen:
4 - 5 Lämpchen = die Batterie ist in einem guten Zustand
1 - 2 Lämpchen = die Batterie ist fast leer und sollte umgehend
ausgewechselt werden.
Hinweis: Bevor Sie eine neue Batterie testen warten Sie bitte ca. 2 Minuten.

Sicherheitshinweise
• Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch und bewahren Sie
sie gut auf.
• Verwenden Sie nur das mitgelieferte Netzteil. Andere Netzteile können
das Gerät beschädigen.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass der Zugang zum Netzteil nicht durch Möbel oder
andere Gegenstände versperrt ist.
• Wenn Sie das Gerät in der Nähe von Kindern verwenden, achten Sie
darauf, dass diese nicht mit dem Gerät spielen (Verletzungsgefahr!).
• Blicken Sie niemals direkt in die beiden UV-Lampen, die sich an der Vor-
derseite in der Trocknungskammer befinden.
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien oder in der Nähe von Wasser.
• Bevor Sie das Gerät vom Stromnetz trennen, stellen Sie alle Schalter in
die „Aus“-Stellung. Ziehen Sie den Stecker bitte nicht, wenn das Gerät in
Betrieb ist.
• Ziehen Sie immer den Stecker aus der Steckdose und trennen Sie das
Gerät vom Stromnetz, bevor Sie es reinigen.

• Ziehen Sie niemals am Kabel sondern immer am Stecker.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals mit einem beschädigten Kabel oder Ste-
cker, oder wenn das Gerät Störungen zeigt bzw. heruntergefallen ist oder
anderweitig beschädigt scheint. Geben Sie das schadhafte Gerät zur Über-
prüfung oder Reparatur bei Ihrem Fachhändler ab.
Netzteil
Das Netzteil erfüllt die Ökodesign-Anforderungen
der Europäischen Union (Richtlinie 2005/32/EG).
Dies bedeutet, dass sowohl im Betrieb als auch im
Ruhezustand der Stromverbrauch im Vergleich zu
Netzteilen älterer Bauart deutlich niedriger ist.
Entsorgung
Sie sind gesetzlich zur sachgerechten Entsorgung von Gebrauchsgü-
tern verpflichtet. Das nebenstehende Symbol auf Ihrem Gerät bedeu-
tet, dass elektrische und elektronische Altgeräte und Batterien getrennt
vom Hausmüll zu entsorgen sind. Elektrische oder elektronische Geräte
entsorgen Sie bei einer Sammelstelle eines geeigneten Entsorgungs-
trägers. Batterien entsorgen Sie beim batterievertreibenden Handel

sowie bei zuständigen Sammelstellen, die entsprechende Behälter
bereitstellen. Verpackungsmaterialien entsorgen Sie entsprechend den
lokalen Vorschriften.
Pflegehinweise
• Reinigen Sie die Gehäuseoberflächen mit einem weichen und fusselfrei-
en Tuch.
• Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsmittel oder Lösungsmittel.
Garantie
AMPLICOMMS - Geräte werden nach den modernsten Produktionsverfah-
ren hergestellt und geprüft. Ausgesuchte Materialien und hoch entwickelte
Technologien sorgen für einwandfreie Funktion und lange Lebensdauer.
Die Garantiezeit beträgt 24 Monate, gerechnet vom Tage des Kaufs. Die
Garantie gilt nicht für die in den Produkten verwendeten Batterien, Akkus
oder Akkupacks.
Innerhalb der Garantiezeit werden alle Mängel, die auf Material- oder Her-
stellungsfehler zurückzuführen sind, kostenlos beseitigt. Der Garantiean-
spruch erlischt bei Eingriffen durch den Käufer oder durch Dritte. Schäden,
die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung oder Bedienung, natürliche Abnut-

zung, durch falsches Aufstellen oder Aufbewahren, durch unsachgemäßen
Anschluss oder Installation sowie durch höhere Gewalt oder sonstige äußere
Einflüsse entstehen, fallen nicht unter die Garantieleistung.
Wir behalten uns vor, bei Reklamationen die defekten Teile auszubessern, zu
ersetzen oder das Gerät auszutauschen. Ausgetauschte Teile oder ausge-
tauschte Geräte gehen in unser Eigentum über. Schadenersatzansprüche sind
ausgeschlossen, soweit sie nicht auf Vorsatz oder grober Fahrlässigkeit des
Herstellers beruhen.
Sollte Ihr Gerät dennoch einen Defekt innerhalb der Garantiezeit aufweisen,
wenden Sie sich bitte unter Vorlage Ihrer Kaufquittung ausschließlich an das
Geschäft, in dem Sie Ihr AMPLICOMMS - Gerät gekauft haben. Alle Gewähr-
leistungsansprüche nach diesen Bestimmungen sind ausschließlich gegen-
über Ihrem Fachhändler geltend zu machen. Nach Ablauf von zwei Jahren
nach Kauf und Übergabe unserer Produkte können Gewährleistungsrechte
nicht mehr geltend gemacht werden.

Operation
Drying Cycle
1. Plug AC power adapter into the unit and also to your power socket.
Verify power indicator (9) is ON.
2. Set humidity selector (4) for the following drying times:
- “Low Humidity“ (left position) = 2 hours
- “Normal Humidity“ (central position) = 4 hours
- “High Humidity“ (right position) = 8 hours

3. Open the hearing aid battery cover to expose the battery. You can
remove the batteries during the drying / refreshing cycle. Remember to
replace the batteries in your hearing aid after completion of the drying /
refreshing cycle.
4. Place hearing aids in the main compartment (1) and close the cover.
5. Press ON / OFF button (5) to start the selected drying time. The indicator
(6) is ON.
Important notes:
This product helps to dry excess moisture from hearing aids and CI
receivers using gentle heat. The UV light function helps reduce bacteria
growth. The product does not clean your instrument. Cleaning from
solid debris must still be done separately in accordance with your hear-
ing aid manufacturer’s instructions.
The frequency of using the product is a personal preference. You may
use the product daily, weekly, or as often as you find appropriate. This
also differs according to the type of instrument you use.
Use the 3 timer settings to determine the most suitable length of treat-
ment for your device. This differs from one instrument to another, and
depends on varied factors such as humidity level present, type of instru-

ment. Trying the different settings will help you know your preferred cycle
length.
If required press the REFRESH button to activate the UV light for one hour.
This may be repeated as required. When the UV lights are on, the indicator
light (8) is ON. The UV lights help inhibits bacteria growth in the hearing
aids, which can be caused by excess humidity during normal use.
CAUTION: Do not look directly at the two UV lights located in the corners
of the main compartment.
Battery test
1. Place a battery on the battery tester. Ensure the smaller round battery con-
tact (-) is placed on the gold disc of the tester.
2. Press the battery so that its body (+) is pressed against the vertical gold
terminal.
3.
Battery capacity (power) is indicated by the number of indicators that light up.
4 or 5 indicators means the battery has good capacity remaining.
1 or 2 indicators means the battery has marginal capacity and should be
replaced soon.
Note: Before testing a new battery, remove battery tab and wait two minutes.

Safety notes
• Please make sure you read this user guide carefully and keep it for further use.
• Only use the power adapter plug supplied as other power supplies could
damage the appliance.
• Ensure access to the power adapter plug is free from obstructions.
• To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when an appli-
ance is used near children.
• Do not look directly at the two UV lights located on the front corners of the
drying compartment.
• Do not use outdoors. Do not use near water.
• To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from
outlet.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing or cleaning.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the
appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner.
Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination,
repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

APPENDIX
Power supply
The included mains adapter meets the eco-design
requirements of the European Union (Directive
2005/32/EG). Thus, its power consumption is considera-
bly lower, both in operated as well as in non-operated
mode, compared with the mains adapter of previous design.
Disposal
You are obliged to dispose of consumable goods properly in accordance with
the applicable legal regulations. The symbol on this product indicates that
electrical and electronic apparatus and batteries must be disposed of separate-
ly from domestic waste at suitable collection points provided by the public
waste authorities. Batteries can also often be disposed of at the point of
sale. Packaging materials must be disposed of according to local regula-
tions.
Maintenance
• Please clean your equipment’s surfaces with a soft, fluff-free cloth.
• Never use cleaning agents or solvents.

Guarantee
AMPLICOMMS equipment is produced and tested according to the latest pro-
duction methods. The implementation of carefully chosen materials and
highly developed technologies ensure trouble free functioning and a long ser-
vice life. The terms of the guarantee do not apply where the cause of the
equipment malfunction is the fault of the telephone network operator or any
interposed private branch extension system. The terms of the guarantee do
not apply to the rechargeable batteries or power packs used in the products.
The period of guarantee is 24 months from the date of purchase.
All deficiencies resulting from material of production faults which occur
during the period of guarantee will be eliminated free of charge. Rights to
claims under the terms of guarantee are annulled following intervention by
the purchaser or third parties. Damage caused as a result of improper hand-
ling or operation, incorrect positioning or storing, improper connection or
installation, Acts of God or other external influence are not covered by the
terms of guarantee.
In the case of complaints, we reserve the right to repair or replace defect
parts or provide a replacement device. Replacement parts or devices become
our property. Rights to compensation in the case of damage are excluded

If your equipment shows signs of defect during the period of guarantee, please
return to the sales outlet in which you purchased the AMPLICOMMS equip-
ment together with the purchase receipt. All rights to claims under the terms of
guarantee in accordance with this agreement must be asserted exclusively
with regard to your sales outlet.
Two years after the purchase of our products, claims under the terms of gua-
rantee can no longer be asserted.
