AMPLICORD MOD. 55-X
L’Amplicord mod. 55-X è stato progettato in base alle
precedenti esperienze e realizzato interamente con circuito
integrato. L’involucro, realizzato interamente in materiale
plastico di cloruro di polivinile (PVC), consente la massima
maneggevolezza, resistenza e sicurezza.

La durata di esercizio dell’Amplicord mod. 55-X è di circa 20
ore di parlato alterno, con regolazione a tonalità media; in caso di
necessità, l’accumulatore può essere sostituito con una normale
batteria da 9V, in vendita presso i negozi radio-tv. La durata e la
potenza saranno inferiori, ma per chi usa abitualmente una protesi
fonetica tale opportunità è di grande utilità.
L’Amplicord mod. 55-X viene corredato di carica-batteria,
batteria ricaricabile e custodia.
ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO
Nell’utilizzo dell’Amplicord mod. 55-X è importante
l’uniformità del contatto, onde evitare disturbi che potrebbero
influenzare la voce ottenuta. Nel primo periodo di utilizzo, al fine
di ottenere un risultato efficace, è necessario effettuare diversi
tentativi per la ricerca della migliore sonorità; tale operazione
deve essere compiuta applicando il dispositivo sulla parte alta
della gola, vocalizzando A-E-I-O-U in modo da ottenere la
tonalità desiderata. Si consiglia di effettuare esercizi alternando
frasi brevi ad altrettanto brevi intervalli, in modo da far
funzionare l’apparecchio come una vera e propria laringe, che
alterna fasi di parlato con fasi di riposo.
GARANZIA
L’Amplicord mod. 55-X è garantito in ogni suo componente per
due anni a condizione che non sia stato manomesso e salvo cadute.
Manutenzione: la manutenzione deve essere effettuata dal
Distributore. La pulizia del dispositivo può essere effettuata con
la frequenza desiderata, utilizzando alcool denaturato sulla parte
esterna.

The design of the Amplicord mod. 55-X is the result of previous
experience and incorporates a fully integrated circuit. The whole
of the outer casing is in PVC to ensure strongness, safeness and
easy to handle.

Amplicord mod. 55-X will operate for approximately 20 hours of
alternate speech at average pitch. lf necessary, the storage battery
can be replaced with a normal 9 volt battery on sale at radio and TV
retailers. Under these circumstances you may experience some loss
of power, as the power generated from a standard 9-volt is less than
what you will experience with the Amplicord rechargeable battery.
Amplicord mod. 55-X is supplied with battery-charger, rechar-
geable battery and case.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
To obtain the best results from your Amplicord speech device,
experiment until you find the most satisfactory pitch. This is done
by placing the appliance next to the upper part of the throat and
pronouncing A-E-I-O-U until the desired sound is obtained. When
using Amplicord mod. 55-X, it is important that its head is placed
evenly against the throat to prevent external noise from disturbing
the voice. When using for the first time, it is advisable to carry out
a series of exercises, alternating short pauses as one would hear
from a natural larynx.
GUARANTEE
Amplicord mod. 55-X is under guarantee for all its component
parts for a period of two years providing it is not mishandled or
dropped.
Maintenance: should be carried out by the Distributor. The
device may be cleaned as often as desired by wiping the outside
with methylated spirit.

La durée de fonctionnement d’Amplicord mod. 55-X est d'en-
viron 20 heures de conversation alternée, avec réglage en tona-
lité moyenne. En cas de nécessité, l'accumulateur peut être rem-
placé par une pile normale de 9V, en vente dans les magasins de
radio-TV. La durée et la puissance seront inférieures mais, pour
tous ceux qui portent habituellement une prothèse phonétique,
c'est une opportunité particulièrement intéressante.
Le modèle Amplicord mod. 55-X est èquipè d'un chargeur de
batterie, d'une batterie rechargeable et d'un ètui.
MODE D'EMPLOI
Pour que l'application du laryngophone soit efficace, il faudra
faire plusieurs essais afin de trouver la meilleure sonorité.
L'opération sera réalisée en appliquant le dispositif sur la partie
supérieure de la gorge et en épelant A-E-I-O-U de façon à obtenir
la tonalité souhaitée. Pour utiliser Amplicord mod. 55-X, il est
important que la tête d'amplification soit en contact uniforme avec
la surface de la gorge, pour éviter tout bruit susceptible de gêner
le résultat vocal. A la première application, il est conseillé d'effec-
tuer des exercices en alternant des phrases courtes et des brefs
temps d'arrêt, de manière à faire fonctionner l'appareil comme un
vrai larynx, qui alterne phases parlées et phases de silence.
GARANTIE
Tous les composants d'Amplicord mod. 55-X sont garantis
deux áns, sous réserve que l'appareil n'ait pas été démonté et sauf
eri cas de chute.
Entretien: l'entretien doit étre réalisé par le Distributeur. Le
nettoyage du dispositif peut être effectué autant de fois que l'on
veut, avec application d'alcool dénaturé sur la partie externe.
