1. Turn on the device by sliding the switch to the lower position.
The device will vibrate lightly and the LED will blink green every
2 seconds. Should the battery levels be low, the LED will blink
green 8 times, in rapid succession.
2. Apply the device onto the softer part of the neck, with a light and
even pressure. The device will automatically begin functioning
upon contact with the skin.
3. Test the device by vocalising the letter A- E- I- O- U.
4. Adjust the tone of the voice created by the device, moving the
joystick to the left to decrease it or to the right to increase it.
5. Adjust the volume of the voice created by the device, moving the
joystick downwards to decrease it or upwards to increase it.
6. .Once you have reached the desired tone and volume, wait for
15 seconds without moving the joystick in order to let the device
automatically save your preferred setting. As the settings are
saved, the device will vibrate and beep once.
Device Maintenance
Maintenance will be carried out by the dealer. The device may
cleaned as often as needed, using a piece of cloth and some
rubbing alcohol (surgical spirit).
Warranty
The Amplicord D1 carries a 2-Year Limited Warranty (24 months)
for each of its components, valid from the Date of Purchase. The
device is guaranteed against manufacturing defects (dened as
a defect in materials or workmanship). The warranty states that
a free replacement and/or repair will be provided for any faulty
components, during the applicable warranty period. This warranty
will lose validity should the device show signs of manumission, or
if the defect is a result of improper use or accidental drops or falls.
The power charger and the rechargeable battery are excluded from
this warranty.
