FLEXIBLE CONTROL
The Axcent3 and Axcent3 Pro ControlFrames deliver versatile multiport
control, the Axcent3 Pro increases system flexibility and growth with four
front-access card slots to support Axcess Control Cards.
EXPANDABLE
Multiple ControlFrames, in any combination of Axcent3 and Axcent3 Pro,
can be combined and managed within the same system to expand your
realm of control. Configure one of the control frames as the system
Master, and the remaining control frames as servers. All resources across
the system are accessible — no matter what ControlFrame it is on.
INTEGRATED INTERFACES
Both ControlFrames include integrated control ports to handle any
interface need. Six serial data ports provide bi-directional RS-232/422/485
communications. Six IR/Serial ports transmit infrared (IR), IR Serial or
1-way data commands. Each of the six Input/Output (I/O) channels can
operate as dry-contact closure I/O or voltage sensor. An 8-channel Relay
port completes the package of Axcent3 control features. Conveniently
located on the front panel, LEDs allow you to view port-by-port status
at a glance.

MHz and 1-way data, user-definable
baud rates (300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800,
9600, 19200, 38400).
•6-channel I/O port for closure, 0-5 VDC
voltage sensing, or interactive power
sensing for IR ports
•8-channel Relay port

•Converts from Master (default) to Server
operation, allowing the use of multiple
units in the same system
•Supports graphical setup, status, and
testing through the use of AMX

•Allows PC-based local or modem setup,

operation, RS-232, Relay, IR/Serial, and
I/O control activity
•The Axcent3 PRO accepts up to four
