To remove any moss and d rt, gently clean w th m ld detergent or su table wood cleaner us ng a non-
abras ve brush. R nse off thoroughly w th clean water. Follow nstruct ons that come w th the cleaner.
All hardware should be checked pr or to use each season and from t me to t me when n use. Re-t ghten
as necessary to ensure that the bench s securely assembled.
As a natural product, t s poss ble that knots can work loose and somet mes fall out. Wood p tch may
appear. Clean off wood p tch and l ghtly sand the affected area, and re-coat as necessary.
To prolong the appearance and l fe of th s product, we recommend that go to your local home center or
hardware store to obta n a qual ty water-based wood preservat ve f n sh to re-coat the bench. The
frequency of th s re-coat ng depends on the product's outdoor exposure cond t ons. If necessary, sand
l ghtly pr or to re-coat ng. Follow the nstruct ons that come w th the wood f n sh.
At the end of the season, remove any moss sta ns, d rt and debr s pr or to storage n a sheltered area.
Ensure product s kept dry.
